She Does Quick Workouts Each Day
Ambrosio has a busy schedule between her work and her two kids, but she says that she always makes time to workout each day. Even if her exercise session is a little short, she still manages to set aside time. "Since there is a lot to do around the house, sometimes I don't have much time to work out, in which case I try to do some stretching and hold a plank for five to 10 minutes," she says to FOX News.
She Loves Yoga
Ambrosio says to FOX News that practicing yoga and doing stretches is one of her favorite ways to stay active. "I love to do yoga as it centers me and also at the same time keeps me in shape," she says. Ambrosio posted this photo on Instagram of herself doing a yoga pose on the beach.
She Goes To Pilates Classes
Ambrosio tells Glamour that she loves to hit the gym in the mornings with her friends, and that they love to take Pilates classes together. "Off to Pilates class, where I meet a friend and get in some girl time. It's important to break a sweat every day, and I love the way Pilates makes me feel long and lean."
She Does The Tracy Anderson Method
Ambrosio tells E! News that she is a fan of the popular Tracy Anderson Method workout classes. "It's a lot of dancing, cardio, and I love it, I'm obsessed with it," she says. "You don't even feel like you're working out. You feel like you're dancing."
She Stair Climbs
Ambrosio shared her secrets for losing cellulite with Self, and it involves climbing stairs. "If I look in the mirror and see cellulite—and I have some, every woman does!—I run the Santa Monica Stairs," says Ambrosio. "I'll go up and down the [170] steps four to six times, usually once a week."
She Uses Ankle-Weights When Working Out Her Lower Body
Ambrosio says that she does a lot of lower-body exercises, and that she also uses ankle-weights when she does them. "For mine, I put 5-pound ankle weights on each leg, get on all fours and kick each heel up toward the ceiling," she says to Self. "I do three sets of 20. Then I also do three sets of 20 fire hydrants, where you lift each bent leg up and out to the side."
