Burke is all about body-positivity. She tells The Mirror that she doesn't want to ever look too skinny or give the wrong message to her fans. "I never want to go below a size eight. I always want to look healthy. I don't want to go past a point where people question me and say I'm too skinny. I don't like that. I'm a woman and I like to feel womanly. I like to have a bum and have curves. I always try to encourage young girls to understand that."

Burke tells GoodTo that she made a lot of changes to her diet. She says that she eats a lot healthier now. "As well as using the SlimFast meal replacement shakes and bars, I eat sushi or sashimi for lunch – I love Japanese food," she says. "I snack on bananas, fruit or SlimFast pretzels. Then, before I go onstage, I'll have a wholesome 600-calorie meal which is usually lean meat with rice or sweet potatoes and lots of vegetables."

She's Motivated

Burke decided to get in better shape, and revealed her motivations behind it to Women's Health. "My mum had type 2 diabetes, which is associated with obesity, and had been unwell," she says. "So I knew that it was time for me to get healthy. I knew if I didn't, I'd risk developing diabetes like my mum."

She Works Out Regularly

In addition to eating healthy, Birke also makes sure to work out on a regular basis. "Healthy eating encouraged me to kick-start my gym routine," she tells Women's Health. "I now work out five or six times a week and my training schedule never changes, not even when I'm on holiday. I begin with a 10-minute run to warm up, then an hour of circuit training."

She Takes Care Of Her Skin

Burke has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. She revealed some of her secrets to MyFashDiary. "At the moment, I have a really good exfoliating facial wash that's actually made by Love your skin, a British company and they're fantastic.
