1. She Eats Several Times a Day
After going from a size 14 to 8, Burke revealed to Women’s Health UK that her weight loss started with structuring her diet. “I started eating six small meals-a-day,” she explained. She would start with porridge for breakfast, followed by soup for lunch, a dinner of chicken or fish, with salad, and fruit and nut snacks in between. “I suddenly had so much energy from eating regularly - essential when I was performing on stage at night,” she said.
2. She Works Out
Healthy eating encouraged Burike to “kick-start" her gym routine. “I now work out five or six times a week and my training schedule never changes, not even when I’m on holiday. I begin with a 10-minute run to warm up, then an hour of circuit training,” she told Women’s Health. She recently shared her workout set on Instagram, and it is no joke.
3. She Does Yoga and Meditates

“I've always suffered with the symptoms of anxiety, which heighten occasionally,” she told Women’s Health. To “keep it controlled” she does 30 minutes of yoga or meditation before bed. “It was difficult to get into in the beginning – mediation is not the easiest thing to do,” she added to Cosmopolitan. “I had to work at it. But it has really balanced my life, and made me embrace whatever happens with the right attitude. Life is what it is and you have the choice to make it what you want to make it, and meditation helped teach me that. It's something I would always recommend."
4. She Takes Lots of Vitamins

"I try to drink a lot of water and I've recently started taking vitamins – they've helped dramatically with my energy levels,” Burke told Cosmopolitan. “My doctor in New York prescribed them, it's a load of different vitamins like cod liver oil, and they've made a dramatic difference to my energy levels. I actually take 16 pills a day, it's intense! But they make me feel wonderful, keep me feeling refreshed and have done wonders for my skin."
5. She Walks Her Five Dogs
