Alexandra Daddario is on top of the world after her show The White Lotus won the Emmy Award for Best Limited Series. 1. No Food Is Off Limits

Daddario has a healthy relationship with food, and enjoys a balanced diet. “I eat when I’m hungry,” she tells PEOPLE. “I try to stay away from anything unnatural, but if you are trying to stay healthy and you get too hungry, it will only be more difficult to stay away from things like too much sugar if you don’t give yourself what you want sometimes. I’m focused on being healthy and not stressing or obsessing over food… I eat what I like, even if I know it’s not ideal sometimes. You have to allow yourself to cheat. I know if I have some ice cream at night it’s not going to affect me negatively. Enjoy your life!”

2. She Enjoys Avocado Tacos

Daddario loves to make tacos with delicious avocados, salsa, and lime. “Avocados are high in fat with 60 percent of this being monounsaturated fats, which research suggests helps to protect against heart disease and lower blood pressure,” says registered nutritionist Jo Lewin. “They are also an excellent source of potassium, folate and fiber, all of which benefit the heart and cardiovascular system. The oils supplied by avocado include oleic acid and linoleic acid. These unsaturated fats are recommended as part of a balanced diet to help manage cholesterol.”

3. She Loves Yoga

Working out is important for both Daddario’s mental and physical health—and it encourages her to make healthier choices with food. “Regular exercise and yoga has made a huge difference in how I approach my diet because it makes feel better about myself,” she says.

4. She Does Strength Training

Daddario works out with personal trainer Patrick Murphy, who encouraged her to incorporate strength training into her exercise routine. “The training schemes and exercise groupings are changing constantly,” Murphy says. “I put Alexandra through weight training, full body workouts, lower and upper body workouts, in circuit form, superset form and single exercise schemes, using balance tools, resistance bands, cables, free weights and machines.”

5. She Enjoys Quinoa Bowls

Daddario loves to eat healthy grains with quality protein. “A cup of cooked quinoa provides about eight grams of protein and five grams of fiber; it's also a good source of minerals such as manganese, phosphorus, and copper,” says Harvard Health. “It's a good option for getting more plant-based protein into your diet, which is widely recommended for reducing heart disease risk.”

Alexandra Daddario is heating up the Beverly Hills Hotel in her bathing suit. The White Lotus star steams up the Dior Cabana at the legendary hotel in one of her latest social media posts, modeling a designer swimsuit to perfection. “Day at the pool,” she captioned the Instagram snap. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Alexandra Daddario stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Does Hot Yoga

Alexandra has two secret weapons for surviving long days on set. The first? Hot yoga, she told Women’s Health. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

2. She Does Acupuncture

Los,Angeles,-,Oct,15:,Alexandra,Daddario,Arrives,For,2ndShutterstock

The other? Acupuncture. “If I do them back-to-back, it’s almost like a computer rebooting,” she told Elle. “I’m obsessed,” she says. “I’ve had the needles everywhere—all over my body.”

3. She Strength Trains

Los,Angeles,-,Nov,12:,Alexandra,Daddario,Arrives,For,Baby2babyShutterstock

Alexandra also does weekly strength-training sessions with celeb trainer Patrick Murphy, who she has been working with since 2015. Their sessions focus on back strengthening for posture (with exercises like dumbbell rows, dynamic bridges, and reverse flies) and hip and glute activation for Alexandra’s goal of a bigger butt (utilizing moves like clamshells, Bulgarian split squats, and walking lunges). “She puts in the work and never looks for shortcuts,” says Murphy.

4. She Hikes and Swims

Alexandra loves getting outside and going for a hike or swiml. “I’ve found that my body heals faster and responds better if I’m in tune with myself and can be in nature,” she says.

5. Here Is What She Eats in a Day

Alexandra nourishes her body with food. She starts with coffee—a cappuccino with almond or oat milk—followed by a breakfast of yogurt and fruit or egg whites with spinach and toast. Lunch is a turkey sandwich with cheese, mustard, and mayo. Her go-to snack? Chocolate. Dinner is usually a bowl of pasta with veggies and olive oil or a home-cooked steak and fresh vegetables or hearty soup.

In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
