1. She Does Yoga
Alexandra is a total yogi, which explains why she is always wearing Alo clothes. "I do a lot of yoga and am all about treating yourself with love if you’re having a stressful day," she explained to Delish. "Yoga helps you learn to deal with stress in a different way. It's a great way to turn your brain off in a world where we’re all running around and on our phones all the time. [Yoga and meditation are] an awesome place to start."

Alexandra fuels her body with clean, nutritious foods including Lara bars, a tablespoon of peanut butter, and half an avocado when she needs energy, per Delish. However, she is all about the occasional cheat meal. "I'm all about letting yourself splurge now and then," she added. Snickers, dark chocolate with fruit—"so I can pretend I'm healthy,"— and rocky road ice cream are her favorite cheat foods.

Alexandra elaborated on her diet to Women’s Health , explaining that her trainer, Patrick Murphy, teaches her to eat less. “Patrick emphasizes the importance of diet, without depriving you of anything,” she said. “He suggests foods that are good for you, without telling you to cut back on the amount you’re eating, so I’ve always felt great when I’ve made those better choices. It’s about the quality and, again, a focus on overall health.”

When Alexandra added weight training to her routine she noticed changes. "I was doing more aerobic activity and way more weight training, which is something I’ve [since] incorporated into my daily routine," she told Health about how prepping for her role in Baywatch evolved her approach to exercise adding "it’s not a sustainable [lifestyle] unless you’re sorta being paid to do it." She added to Women’s Health that she used to only do hot yoga. “I sort of thought that was all I needed. I still do hot yoga, but I felt so much stronger when I incorporated strength training into my routine.”
5. She Eats When She Is Hungry
Alexandra pays attention to hunger pangs. “I eat when I’m hungry,” Alexandra told People. “I try to stay away from anything unnatural, but if you are trying to stay healthy and you get too hungry, it will only be more difficult to stay away from things like too much sugar if you don’t give yourself what you want sometimes. I’m focused on being healthy and not stressing or obsessing over food.”
