1. She’s A Professional Athlete

Schmidt is a professional track and field athlete. Naturally, this is one of the main ways she stays in shape. Schmidt does different events like running and hurdles, which are great exercises for your endurance, cardio, legs, and muscles. She also has to workout on a consistent basis.
2. She Warms Up

Schmidt has to stay in shape in her line of work. She also has to make sure her body is warmed up and doesn’t get hurt. This is why she always remembers to warm-up and stretch. Schmidt posted this workout video on Instagram, where she revealed some of her go-to stretches. In it, she is seen doing stretches like toe touches, lunges, and calve stretches.
3. She Circuit Trains
A type of workout Schmidt likes to do to stay in shape is circuit training. This means doing an exercise for a period of time, taking a rest, then either repeating it, doing it for a longer period, or moving on to another exercise. Schmidt shared her go-to circuit in this YouTube video. Shcmidt does three different sets of running exercises at different lengths.
4. She Lifts Weights
Schmidt’s training is not just cardio. She also makes sure to do some strength training. Schmidt shared this workout video on Instagram. In it, she is seen doing squats with a dumbbell. This exercise is good for runners, since it builds leg strength and muscle, as well as stamina. Both of those things are needed in track and field.
5. She Believes In Growth
Schmidt likes to share inspirational quotes on Instagram. She shared this quote about growth in this video. The quote was, “Growth is painful. Change is painful. But nothing is as painful as staying stuck somewhere you don’t belong.”
