1. She Likes Cold Water Therapy

Amanda takes cold plunges. Consider a cold shower, too. “Taking cold showers may help you dodge catching the latest… well, cold. Researchers have found that taking icy showers may heighten your immune system and make you more resistant to illness,” says the Cleveland Clinic. “A clinical trial in the Netherlands found that cold showers led to a 29% reduction in people calling off sick from work. Another study even connected cold showers to improved cancer survival.”

2. She Does Not Diet

"You have to enjoy life," she told Mail Online once. "I eat everything. Drink everything. I had a friend once who didn’t make it to her 50s and her biggest regret was she spent her life on a diet. I don't diet."

3. She Runs

"I like to keep active," she has said. "But I can't stand gyms. I like to run for an hour a week, as I feel great afterwards. It's also time to myself, which is worth its weight in gold." “When it comes to the idea that running is good for the heart, six miles a week may be the magic goal number. In a review study published in Mayo Clinic Proceedings, experts found running about six miles a week — or 52 minutes — may add from three to six years to your life,” says the Mayo Clinic. “The great news is that you don’t have to run a marathon to benefit from exercise. Just getting out there and moving more helps. Exercise benefits many things including your cardiovascular system, and it cuts the risk of some cancers,” Dr. Edward Laskowski, Sports Medicine Physician within the Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine Center, says.

4. She Worked Up a Sweat During Lockdown

"As a family we've not let this lockdown stop us from exercising," she said on Instagram. "It's actually become an essential hour of our daily lives. Whether it's a home workout, a bike ride, a run or even a walk around the park – working up a sweat is good for your mind, body and soul."

5. She Drinks Coconut Water

“I drink loads of water – a lot of coconut water – but I think my skin is genetic because my nan looks amazing at 97,” she once said. “For an active person who engages in high heart rate activity daily, coconut water can be a great way to replace fluid and electrolytes lost through sweat and carbohydrates that were burned as an energy source. When compared to a traditional sports drink, coconut water is made with far fewer processed ingredients while providing much of the same benefit, which is a plus. However, any calorie-containing electrolyte drink—natural or not—is most beneficial during and after exercise and should not be a main fluid source elsewhere throughout the day,” says our sister site Eat This, Not That!.

1. She Doesn’t Diet

Amanda HoldenAmanda Holden/Instagram

“You have to enjoy life,” Holden told the Daily Mail. “I eat everything. Drink everything. I had a friend once who didn’t make it to her 50s and her biggest regret was she spent her life on a diet. I don’t diet.” But she does watch what she eats. “I’m a vegetarian, so for me it’s lots of avocado, chickpeas and quinoa salads,” she said.

2. She Works Out

Holden goes to a fitness camp in Portugal, where she hikes and does boxing for a few weeks before every TV shoot. But her regular workout routine is a bit more casual. “You can’t live like that all the time,” she told the Daily Mail. “I practice a form of yoga, which is more to do with breath control and strength than getting sweaty, and I run every morning, but I love a glass of wine and going out.”

3. She Dances

Britain's Got Talent Auditions - ArrivalsEamonn M. McCormack/Getty Images

Holden posted a TikTok video of herself dancing with her two daughters — Lexi, 16, and Hollie, 10 — on vacation in Italy, where she’s shooting her TV show. Dance builds muscle and bone, reduces fat, increases aerobic capacity, lowers blood pressure and improves the ratio of good to bad cholesterol, according to the Harvard Medical School.

4. She Stays Hydrated

“I drink loads of water — a lot of coconut water,” Holden said. Drinking enough water is important to regulate body temperature, keep joints lubricated, prevent infections, deliver nutrients to cells, keep organs functioning properly and improve sleep quality, cognition and mood, according to Harvard University’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

5. She Cheats Occasionally

“I do eat healthily but I have treats and I do love — I know I sound like an alcoholic — my glass of wine or gin,” Holden said. “Life is too short to be strict.” “When it comes to healthy eating, the key to following the rules may be in breaking them,” Northwestern Medicine said. Just don’t think of them as cheating but rather as a meal that you earned and should enjoy – without the guilt, the university said.

1. She Runs for an Hour Per Week

“I feel great afterwards," Amanda has said about running. “It's also time to myself, which is worth its weight in gold." “Whether it's a home workout, a bike ride, a run or even a walk around the park–working up a sweat is good for your mind, body and soul,” she wrote on social media.

2. She Does Kundalini Yoga

Amanda has done yoga and “got into it after Hollie was born.” “I'd been on a ventilator and I had a lot of lung problems,” she explained. “Kundalini yoga is all about breathwork, so I took it on to build my strength. A lot of people advised me to do it for calmness, too. I don't really sit still, I'm always on the go."

3. She Says She Does Not Diet

“I eat everything, I drink everything. I had a friend once who didn't make it to her 50s and her biggest regret was that she spent her life on a diet. I don't diet,” she has said. At least consider starting your day with breakfast. “It gives your metabolism and brain a jump-start, fueling your body for the busy day ahead. Studies show those who eat breakfast are successful at losing weight and keeping it off,” says the Cleveland Clinic.

4. This is Her Go-To Breakfast

Celebrity Sightings In London - May 27, 2022MEGA/GC Images via Getty Images

"Sometimes lunch goes out of the window, so I like to have something wholesome for breakfast. I tend to start the day with a bowl of sugar-free Alpen,” she has said. Alpen has oats in it. “Oatmeal is a great option whether you make it simple or dress it up with fruit, seeds and nuts. But besides just being an Instagram-worthy bowl of goodness, oatmeal offers a particularly impressive benefit,” says the Cleveland Clinic. “Eating just one and one-half cups of cooked oatmeal a day can lower your cholesterol by 5 to 8%.”

5. She Favors Fish

London Celebrity Sightings - May 16, 2022Neil Mockford/GC Images via Getty Images

“If you're worried about your heart health, eating at least two servings of fish per week could reduce your risk of heart disease,” says the Mayo Clinic. “For many years, the American Heart Association has recommended that people eat fish rich in unsaturated fats at least twice a week. The unsaturated fats in fish are called omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids may reduce inflammation throughout the body. Inflammation can damage your blood vessels, and lead to heart disease and strokes.”

Amanda Holden is 51 and thriving, judging by her social media posts. 1. Collagen Supplements

Holden loves taking collagen, both in skincare and in supplements. “As we age, the production of collagen slows and the collagen produced is less efficient – which underlies many of the changes we see with aging, such as wrinkling and sagging of the skin, joint pain, loss of height, and fractures,” says Deborah Lee, MD. “The structure of collagen is organized with a complicated fiber system, with chains of amino acids arranged in fibrils, like strong ropes, to provide a tight and reliable support structure.”

2. She’s a Fighter

Holden makes a point of forging her own path, no matter what. “Over the years, I’ve not changed but I have managed to change opinions,” she says. “I’ve been the same ever since I was a little girl – give me a chance and I’m going to prove myself to you. I never accept failure – in whatever I do.”

3. Balanced Diet

Holden doesn’t believe in restriction. "Life's too short to do fat-free, sugar-free, alcohol-free,” she says. “I don't believe in half-fat anything, I have full-fat yogurt, butter and cheese. And I splurge on the weekends. I love wine."

4. She Loves Being Outside

The Duchess Of Cornwall Celebrates The 160th Anniversary Of Battersea Dogs And Cats HomeChris Jackson/Getty Images

Holden is happiest when working out in the fresh air. “I’m an outdoor exerciser – I like yoga and running but it’s been too cold,” she says. “I’ve been put to shame by Alesha [Dixon, her fellow Britain’s Got Talent judge], who is working out and looking amazing, and by [daughter] Lexi, who has been really disciplined and got a little six-pack.”

5. She Embraces Her Age

“Who says that once you reach a certain age women have to dress a certain way, act a certain way? I don’t believe in those rules,” she says. “You do what makes you happy, what puts a smile on your face and, to be honest, you have got to an age where you care a lot less about what people think. I don’t care. I consider myself lucky to be following women like Kylie Minogue, Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Aniston, who have really celebrated their 50th year by being grateful for their success, happy with their lives and still looking really hot.”

So, how does she stay in such incredible shape? From strength training to boxing, here’s a look at her go-to fitness moves.

She Strength Trains

In her Instagram post, Sharvari is seen doing a strength training exercise. The Mayo Clinic says that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories. Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Does Yoga

Sharvari shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is yoga. Sharvari posted this video of herself doing poses on her page. John Hopkins Medicine states that yoga is very beneficial. “Regular yoga practice may reduce levels of stress and body-wide inflammation, contributing to healthier hearts. Several of the factors contributing to heart disease, including high blood pressure and excess weight, can also be addressed through yoga.”

She Plays Padel

Sharvari likes to play padel to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself on the court. Playing padel has a lot of health benefits. Everybody Health & Leisure says, “It improves cardiovascular fitness, helps to build strength and endurance, enhances coordination and promotes overall physical and mental well-being. Not to mention, it’s a fantastic way to burn calories.”

She Boxes

Another thing that Sharvari does to keep herself in shape is box. She first picked this up when training for the film, Vedaa. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself punching a bag. Sharvari captioned the post, “BEAST MODE on for Vedaa! ⚠️☠️🥊 Took up boxing to become Vedaa... Now I am ready to pack a punch or be strong enough to take a brutal beating 💪#Vedaa coming to a theatre near you on August 15th.”

She Runs

Sharvari likes to run to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself running on the beach. She captioned the post, “Decided to seas the day!” Better Health says that running is very beneficial. “Regular running or jogging offers many health benefits. Running can: help to build strong bones, as it is a weight bearing exercise, strengthen muscles, improve cardiovascular fitness, burn plenty of kilojoules, help maintain a healthy weight.”

Natasa Stankovic in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Wednesday Challenge"

Stankovic shares her go-to workout moves, from squats to lunges, cardio, Pilates, and strength training.

Entertainment India - March 2023

Natasa Stankovic isn’t just a content creator—she’s a fitness inspiration. Known for sharing intense workout sessions on Instagram, she keeps her followers motivated with creative exercise challenges and dynamic routines.

In her latest post, Stankovic teamed up with Aleksandar Illic for a lower body blast, pushing through variations of squats and lunges. Dressed in a sleek two-piece workout set, she captioned the session, “Wednesday challenge,” proving that fitness is all about consistency and fun.

So, how does she maintain her lean, strong physique? From strength training to Pilates, here’s a look at Stankovic’s go-to workout moves.

She Does Squats

Stankovic does squats to keep herself in shape, as you can see in her Instagram video. Piedmont says that this exercise has a lot of health benefits. “Whether you’re hoping to tone your muscles, strengthen your core or just improve overall health, squats are one of the best exercises you can do. Although the movements appear relatively simple, squats can take time to master. Joel Hardwick, ACSM EP-C, EIM2, an exercise physiologist at Piedmont Atlanta Fitness Center, says practice will pay off…Hardwick explains that squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

She Does Lunges

Stankovic is also seen doing lunges in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic reports that lunges are very beneficial to do. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles. The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer.”

She Does Cardio

Stankovic likes to do cardio workouts to keep herself in shape. She shared this video of herself doing fast box jumps in different directions on Instagram. Stankovic captioned it, “Morning cardio challenge.” Cardio exercises have a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “When you work your heart and other muscles of your body during cardio exercise, this increases oxygen supply to your whole body, allowing all muscles to work harder and more efficiently. Over time, regular cardio exercise allows your muscles to adapt to an increased workload, making regular activities seem easier.”

She Does Pilates

Stankovic shares a lot of her favorite workouts in an Instagram story highlight. In some of the stories, she is seen doing Pilates exercises on a reformer. Pilates is very beneficial. The Cleveland Clinic says, “One of the reasons Pilates is such a good workout is that it specifically focuses on building core strength.”

She Strength Trains

Stankovic likes to strength train to keep herself in shape. She shared this Instagram story of herself using dumbbells. ACE Fitness says that strength training and using weights has a lot of health benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

Kim French in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Real Results" Workout

Learn how she sculpts her powerhouse physique with deadlifts, lunges, squats, and more.

Kim French is more than just a personal trainer—she’s a fitness coach who empowers thousands through her Believe App and Instagram workouts. Known for her structured, effective home training plans, she proves that you don’t need a gym full of heavy weights to build serious strength.

In a recent Instagram post, French shared a glimpse of her at-home training, reminding followers that smart training delivers "REAL results." Rocking a sleek two-piece workout set, she showcased some of her go-to exercises, emphasizing that with the right strategy, anyone can see progress.

So what’s in her routine? From deadlifts to hip thrusts, here’s how French sculpts her powerhouse physique.

She Does Deadlifts

French is seen doing deadlifts in her Instagram post. This exercise has a lot of benefits. NASM says, “A Romanian deadlift is a hip-hinge pattern that works the hamstrings and glutes. It is a form of deadlift with noticeably less bend in the knee, leading to greater hamstring engagement than traditional deadlifts. The move was introduced to the masses in the 90s by Romanian weightlifter Nicu Vlad (an Olympic and World Weightlifting champion) and his coach Dragomir Cioroslan. The two invented the move to help Nicu strengthen his back for the clean and jerk. Today, RDLs are commonly used to strengthen the posterior chain, using the core muscles to stabilize and the hamstrings and glutes to drive the movement.”

She Does Lunges

Another exercise that French is seen doing in her Instagram post is lunges. NASM says that they are very beneficial. “The lunge is a versatile, simple and effective movement for lower body training. Various positions, planes of motion and speeds can all yield different training adaptations for the exerciser. Lunges are the gift that keeps on giving!”

She Does Squats

French is seen doing squats in her Instagram video. According to The Cleveland Clinic, squats are very beneficial. “Here’s a quick look at the many benefits of squats, also known as bodyweight squats or air squats: Works major muscle groups. Burns calories. Strengthens your core. Improves lower body strength. Enhances stability and balance. Betters your posture.”

She Does Hamstring Curls

French is seen doing hamstring curls in her Instagram post. According to The Mayo Clinic, hamstring curls are very beneficial. “The seated hamstring curl is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work the muscles in the back of the thigh. As the name implies, the seated hamstring curl targets the hamstring muscles here in the back of the thigh. Strong hamstring muscles help to protect your ligaments in the knee.”

She Does Hip Thrusts

French shared this video on Instagram of herself doing hip thrusts. She captioned it, “Hip Thrusts are no doubt one of the best exercises for building your Glutes but of course with any exercise, the form has to be correct for you to see the maximum benefits…✖️ Feet too far forwards will engage your hamstrings more ✖️ Feet too close to you will engage your quads more ✔️ Feet placed so your calves are vertical will engage your glutes more.”
