She Dances

Riley has a lot of experience with dance. She had to learn choreography for her role on Glee, and her roles on stage. Riley even won the 17th season of Dancing with the Stars, and opened up about her time on the show to PageSix. "'Dancing With the Stars,' honestly, doing that show, really helped me with my confidence. I will always be grateful for that time because I got to show myself in all my glory."

She's Comfortable With Herself

Riley is all about body positivity. She opened up about her process to PageSix. "I started loving on my body [because] you can't dance in that way and not love yourself. You have to love your body because you're moving it in such a way where if you aren't loving every single curve, it's not going to connect with other people."

She Has A Routine

Riley opened up about her wellness routine to Bustle. She says that she likes to have a daily routine. "Having a routine really helps my mental health, so I try to wake up every day at the same time. I walk my dog, then I usually meditate or pray. It helps me to clear my mind before I come back and look at my schedule for the day."

She Spends Less Time On Her Phone

Riley tells Bustle that she is working on spending less time on her phone. "Not as often as I should, but I usually put my phone in a different room when I go to bed, and I use a traditional alarm clock to wake up so that my phone isn't the first thing I look at in the morning. Or you can just give your phone to someone you trust, and ask them not to give it to you for the entire day."

5

She Loves Fast Paced Exercises

Riley talked about her favorite exercises to Bustle. She says that she likes fast-paced workouts. "I tried yoga and it just wasn't for me. I liked the zen-ness of it, but the poses were so hard. When I workout, I like to sweat — so I'm on the stairs or I'm on the bike. That's how I like to get my body moving."
