Patel posts a lot of videos from the gym on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is a lot of arm and upper body exercises. She shared this video of herself weightlifting. She captioned it, “When I work my arms I love the sore feeling the next day, and this tricep exercise almost always does it. Workouts make me feel soo good.”

Patel loves to swim as a way of staying in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself going for a late night dip in the pool. She captioned the post, “DELHI … Nothing like a dip in the warm pool, minus the sunshine. Eternal water baby.”

Patel opened up about her career to Prokerala. She says that one of her secrets is staying positive, no matter what happens. "I have always been a very positive person. "I have never snatched any film from any actress. It is the film that has snatched me for a role. Each day when I look in the mirror, I am happy that I see a clean and honest girl.”
