Amy Schumer is wishing her friend, the iconic Bridget Everett, a happy birthday – in her swimsuit! 1. Her Lifestyle Is Active
As can be demonstrated in her latest Instagram post, Schumer stays active in her downtime. She plays tennis, takes long walks with her family, and even rides horses. “Studies have shown that taking yourself outside to workout or for your favorite leisure activities, you can improve your mood and reduce anger and depression. Did you know that exposure to sunlight enhances vitamin D production? It’s true! And you can thank vitamin D for being partially responsible for the boost in mood that you’re feeling. 3. She Trains Like an Athlete

Harley Pasternak, who has trained the star, revealed to Popsugar that she focuses on building strength when she works out. "Amy lives by the idea 'strong in the gym, lean in life.' She keeps her workout with us super brief and stays active through the rest of the day,” he said. In another interview with Health, he added: “Amy's naturally an athlete,” noting that she played sports in high school and college and was even an aerobics instructor. “So she's very coordinated, and easy to push in the gym,” he said.
4. Her Health Struggles Have Impacted Her Weight

In 2020, Amy revealed to the public that she had lost weight after contracting Lyme disease. "For me, I was diagnosed with Lyme earlier this year, and I definitely lost a couple of LBs," she said in a video chat with model Hunter McGrady for Yahoo Life. “And people's reaction of like, 'You're losing weight,' you know, like they're congratulating you. And I'm like, it's really just about my health. I don't know if I lose or gain weight." She also had endometriosis and underwent a hysterectomy.
5. She Is Open About Her Plastic Surgery
Earlier this year, Amy revealed to her Instagram followers that she had gone under the knife, getting liposuction. During an interview with Making Space with Hoda Kotb podcast she explained why she decided to do it. "I was just like in a weird moment after having a hysterectomy and I’m like you know what, I have the time right now," she said. "I tried CoolSculpting and I didn’t personally have any results from that. And I’ve tried everything else and you know, having a C-section and the kind of endometriosis I have, things around the midsection … I’ve been uncomfortable, like physically uncomfortable.” She added that if she was willing "to basically give myself frostbite" she should try the real deal. "I did it and it worked," she said about liposuction. "And I feel a lot better about myself, so I wanted to share with people just because I can’t lie about myself. I can’t do it."
