Ananya Panday is featured in this month’s installment of Harper’s Bazaar India. She shared a photo from the shoot on Instagram. In it, Panday modeled shoes from legendary brand, Jimmy Choo. She also wore a silver one-piece swimsuit with cutouts, a silver wrap, and a navy cover-up. She captioned it, “Introducing The Shaan Capsule Collection @JimmyChoo by @JimmyChoo – taking opulence and glamour to new heights.” How does she stay so fit? 1. She Wants To Be A Role Model

Entertainment India - May 2022Prodip Guha/Getty Images

Panday opened up about her life to IDiva.com. She says that she wants to be a role model for young girls out there. “I don’t ever want young women to look at me and feel any kind of pressure to look or dress like me. I want people to be able to walk up to me and talk to me. It shouldn’t be hard because I am young and I don’t have a filter. I say things that are embarrassing all the time. I tripped and fell yesterday. Even with brand shoots, I am trying to focus on young and fresh brands that resonate with my personality. I want young girls and women to feel like they connect with me and that they don’t have to aspire for unreal beauty or fashion standards.”

2. She’s Real

Entertainment India - March 2022Prodip Guha/Getty Images

Panday wants to be open and real with people. Especially on social media. She tells IDiva.com, “I feel like no one posts their failures on Instagram, everyone only wants to post happy pictures and their successes. That and social-media bullying are my peeves.”

3. She Ignores Haters

Panday has had to deal with a lot of haters on social media. However, she tells IDiva.com that she doesn’t let them bother her. “I have realised that when people troll you, it is not something that’s on you, it is on them. You’ve not done anything wrong, something is wrong with them and they are taking it out on you. I am thick-skinned because of my dad. He has gone through a lot and he takes a joke well but people don’t realise that their words can hurt. Those words might not hurt me, but it is unfair that my parents have to read things about me. I feel it is easy to sit behind a computer screen and say things casually because you can’t say it to someone’s face. I don’t think bullying or trolling is okay in any way.”

4. She’s Grounded

Panday tells IDiva.com what her secrets for staying grounded are. “I am still treated the same way by my friends and family, and it helps ground me and detach from the way I am treated on sets or at conferences. It is important to go back to a normal life and talk about something other than films. At such a young age, it is easy to get carried away and be surrounded by yes men but I know my family and friends will always have my back.”

5. She’s Confident

Panday has a lot of confidence. She opened up about her journey with confidence to LifestyleAsia.com. “I know it sounds cliche, but I think that when you start working fresh out of school, as I did at 18 for the film, there are so many issues that a young girl, in general, has with herself,” she says. “We have our body issues, we have our own set of mental health issues, relationships and it could be anything. At that age, we’re constantly battling something or the other. Then at the same time, you’re starting in this big world and you’re putting yourself out there. So I was nervous back then. I didn’t know the ropes to call it. Even though my father’s an actor, I never grew up on a film set in that way. So I was still learning how to conduct myself. I was still learning the way things work, how to interact with people, and how to meet people for work then. I’m a little more confident in myself in general now because I’m easier on myself and I think that’s what it is.”

Panday does a lot of things to stay in shape. She talked about her fitness in an interview with Vogue India. “My favourite is Pilates,” she says. “It’s very good for stretching. I’m not flexible at all, so it really relaxes my body.” Pilates also has a lot of other benefits than just flexibility. The Houston Methodist reports, “The goal is to be in total control of your body as you move. That requires beginning from your central core muscles and using the stability these muscles provide to smoothly control your arms, legs and other extremities. This is no easy feat, which is what makes Pilates a great way to build strength and stamina.”

2. She Takes Care Of Her Skin

Panday makes sure to care for her skin. She revealed some of her tips to Vogue India. “My mum emphasises the importance of sunscreen. Even if I’m sitting at home, she tells me to put it on.” In addition to protecting her skin from the sun, she also keeps it hydrated. “I use a normal face wash and spray rose water onto my face at least twice or thrice a day. It energises me and wakes me up.”

3. She Eats Healthy Six Days A Week

For Panday, dieting means balance. She tells Vogue India that she likes to indulge each Sunday, then “I eat well and clean six days a week. Then every Sunday, it’s burgers galore.” Panday shared these photos on Instagram of herself enjoying her go to Sunday burger and fries. She captioned it, “Literally me every Sunday when I’m reunited w my burger (bae).”

4. She’s Happy With Herself

Panday opened up about her approach to wellness to Vogue India. She says that she focuses on how she feels and what makes her happy, rather than trying to lose weight. “I am the happiest with my body when it’s well-fed, well-rested and well-exercised,” Panday says. “More than trying to hit a target body weight or size, I am looking more for happiness by simply being kind to my body.”

5. She Loves Yoga

One thing Panday likes to do to stay in shape is practice yoga. She does many different kinds of yoga as well. Panday shared these photos on Instagram from the studio. Indian actress Kate Sharma is enjoying a magical trip to the island of Koh Samui, Thailand. Sharma shared a reel of herself swimming in a beautiful pool, wearing a bright pink swimsuit and sarong, with palms and blue skies in the background. “Poolside paradise 😍,” she captioned the post. How does she stay so fit? 1. Fresh Lime Soda

Sharma’s go-to drink is fresh lime soda. “Limes are packed with antioxidants and phytonutrients," says Carly Sedlacek RDN, LD. “Limes are low in calories, high in micronutrients and punch above their weight with regard to both water and fiber content. They’re really good for us, but most of us aren’t going to make a snack of them. The juice — without added sugar — is the best we can do.”

2. Running Outside

Sharma loves running outside, especially at the beach. “There’s good evidence that spending time outside can reduce stress, depression levels, and anxiety,” says Josh Lawler, a UW environmental & forest sciences professor. “We suspect that one of the routes for the physical benefits is through [the] decreased stress and anxiety.”

3. She Chooses Happiness

Sharma says she chooses happiness in her personal life. “I don't date much but I have had rough patches in relationships. Ups and down are part of life and moving on is an art of life,” she says. “Break ups were there but that all made me so strong and I am a girl who looks at the broader aspect in life. So pain was there but feeling the pain and being sad is a choice.

So I chose happiness. It took time to heal but today I learned happiness is the most important thing in this world.”

4. Bathing Beauty

Sharma loves to take baths. “Taking a bath has great physical and mental health benefits,” says family medicine provider Amy Zack, MD. “Soaking in a tub is something many people have access to but don’t take advantage of enough. But it can be beneficial for a lot of people.”

5. She Is an Artist

When it comes to her career, Sharma loves the benefits creativity brings to her life. “Artist is an artist, no matter where he/she performs," she says. "It’s always a pack of feelings and entertainment which we have to give to the audience. Films and music videos both tell a story. The only difference is that films are on a larger scale in every form, while music videos take less time but require the same level of consistency and hard work as an artist."

1. She Transformed For A Role

When Chandna signed on to appear in Naagin 5, she had to get in shape. She shared her process to Times Of India. "I had to say bye-bye to all the happy weight and bring a transformation because my character needed that,” she explained. “If you are playing a naagin you need to look sexy, fit and someone who can easily do the stunts. The previous seasons' actresses, who played naagins, had already set a bar so high, that it was important to look different and set a new trend."

2. She Did Her Own Stunts

Entertainment India February 2021Prodip Guha/Getty Images

In Naagin 5, Chandna did a lot of her own stunts. "When I signed up for the show, I did not have time to go to the gym, because we were shooting for 12-13 hours,” she tells Times Of India. “Naagin is not a show that requires you to be at one place throughout the day. The show had a fast pace, we had to run around a lot because of outdoor scenes and do a lot of stunts and action scenes. This helped me burn my calories, so I was burning good calories on the sets, shooting for 12-13 hours."

3. She Believes In Balance

Indian,Mumbai,Food,Pav,Bhaji,From,Vegetables,With,Bread,Close-upShutterstock

Chandna opened up about her diet to Times Of India. She says that she believes in eating a balanced diet. "I used to eat bhakhri, rice, veggies, chicken and fish. I also consumed jowar bhakhris. I kept away from junk food but I had my 'cheat' days when I used to go out and eat pav bhaji and pizza. The idea was to be physically active and run around a lot, eat in small proportions than totally deprive yourself."

4. She Stays Consistent

Entertainment India - December 2021Prodip Guha/Getty Images

When Chandna isn’t on set doing stunts, she still makes time to workout. She shared some of her favorite exercises to Times Of India. "I am thankful that I achieved my fitness goals playing a Naagin,” she says. “I have time on hand. I will again go back to doing my zumba and pilates to maintain my fitness levels."

5. She Swims

Chandna spends a lot of time in the water. She likes to swim to keep herself in shape, and shares a lot of photos of herself doing this on Instagram. Chandna shared this set of photos of herself enjoying a pool day, including shots of herself in the water. She captioned the post, “Island Girl. Day 1 in Koh Samui.” She also shared this set of pool photos, captioning them, “The ultimate water baby.”

1. She Loves Yoga

AnanyaAnanya Panday/Instagram

Ananya posted a photo of herself doing a yoga inversion. “My favourite morning ritual 🧿🦋❤️🧘🏻‍♀️ the world is truly better upside down 😝 @anshukayoga @rysapanday,” she captioned it. “ There exists an indisputable connection between a person's overall physical and mental health and the inner peace and well-being yoga is designed to achieve. Yoga suspends the fluctuations of the mind and by acting consciously, we live better and suffer less,” says one study. “Health care professionals, health educators and the like, need to be aware of the potential of yoga as an important component of a personal wellness plan.”

2. She Dances

Ananya just shared a video of her dancing. “Hooked to this step and the vibe of this song! As they say - #JugJuggJeeyo to the team and all our love for the film from Team Liger ❤️ #ThePunjaabbanSong,” she captioned it. “If you're at risk for cardiovascular disease - start dancing. More research has shown that people with heart failure who started waltzing not only improved their heart health and breathing, but they also saw overall improvement in their quality of life. Additionally, these improvements were significantly greater than those with heart failure who cycled, or walked on a treadmill,” says the Y.

3. She Eats Green Veggies

Entertainment India - March 2022Prodip Guha/Getty Images

“Sweet potatoes, carrots, red and green peppers, kale, spinach, and broccoli all contain the antioxidant carotene. Try to choose red, orange, deep yellow and dark green leafy vegetables every day,” says the Mayo Clinic. “Cruciferous veggies taste great on their own. There’s nothing like fresh arugula from the garden. The sweet, spicy crunch of a pure, translucent slice of radish or kohlrabi is like nothing else,” says the Cleveland Clinic.

4. She Indulges Once in a While

Ananya posed with a cheeseburger recently. “Never getting over Nevada 🤠🥹 throwback to the best time shooting for Liger ,” she captioned it. “Allow yourself an indulgence every now and then. A candy bar or handful of potato chips won't derail your heart-healthy diet. But don't let it turn into an excuse for giving up on your healthy-eating plan. If overindulgence is the exception, rather than the rule, you'll balance things out over the long term. What's important is that you eat healthy foods most of the time,” says the Mayo Clinic.

5. She Likes a Bold Brow

Bold brows are very “in” now and Ananya is on trend. One study found stress can inhibit hair growth and another study found olive oil may stimulate hair growth. And stay active. “Participating in sports and other physical activities — particularly those that don't emphasize a particular weight or body shape — can help promote good self-esteem and a positive body image,” says the Mayo Clinic.

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

Sophie Piper is embracing island life – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

Tammy Hebrew has a banana snack.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying bananas in her “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”

She Loves Cottage Cheese

Tammy Hebrew's snack the contains banana and cottage cheese.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying her bananas with cottage cheese in the previous Instagram video. Cottage cheese is very healthy. UCLA Health reports, “Cottage cheese’s protein content and low calories make it an ideal food for weight management. Research shows that whether you are trying to lose weight or reduce your risk of overweight or obesity, eating a high-protein diet can help you feel full and satisfied for longer.”
