Anette is a big proponent of fueling up on lean proteins. For breakfast she eats egg whites with vegetables and a cup of coffee followed by a mid-morning snack: A slice of turkey ham with a piece of fruit or panela cheese with a piece of fruit. For lunch she enjoys vegetable soup with grilled chicken, meat, or fish. For her mid-afternoon snack, a piece of panela cheese with a piece of fruit. For dinner she will eat Mexican tuna (tuna, onion, tomato, cilantro, lemon), without mayonnaise followed by a piece of cheese three hours later.

Anette understands the importance of hydration. "For liquids I can drink water, all of it, also a drink called Clight, Diet Coke, iced tea and nothing else," she told La Botana.
