"I never followed a diet, although I learned to eat healthy a bit thanks to my ex-boyfriend, Pedro Maurizi, who was a vegetarian and a very good cook. My favorite food in the world is a good polenta with grill sausage and a lot of sauce with meat, I I love it. I do it but my mom makes me the best ones," Ángela told Caras Perfil.

She Accepts Her Body

Ángela promotes self-love. She told Caras Perfil that she always accepted herself with her body without punishing herself because "all women are beautiful and different." "Self-image is important because how we think about ourselves affects how we feel about ourselves and how we interact with others and the world around us. A positive self-image can boost our physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being. On the other hand, a negative self-image can decrease our satisfaction and ability to function in these areas," says the Cleveland Clinic.

She Starts the Day with Lemon Water

Like many celebrities, Ángela starts the day with an ayurvedic ritual, drinking a glass of lemon water. She also makes sure to hydrate throughout the day. According to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine men should drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids.

She Was Pressured to Lose Weight at a Young Age

Ángela  revealed that as a child, she was pressured to lose weight. "I was always part of a world of adults and, as a child, I received information that was put into my head, like 'you have to lose weight to do this strip next year.' Or in "Dancing" there was a lot of talk about my body, and even at Mirtha Legrand's table there were people making fun of my body, as well as on Twitter, where they have said horrible things to me ," she said. "It is time that they know that women have convictions, desires, artistic forms, many things before youth or size," she added.

She Walks Her Dog

One way Ángela stays in shape is by walking her dog. She often posts photos of her beloved pooch, like this one recently shared to her account. "Dogs are high-energy companions, love to play and need exercise. People who own dogs get more activity in their day simply by making accommodations for their dog's lifestyle. According to the American Heart Association, dog owners are 54% more likely to get the recommended amount of exercise than their non-dog owning counterparts. As a result, and due to a stronger immune system from being exposed to pet fur and dandruff, many dog owners see a decrease in blood-pressure, triglycerides and cholesterol levels, making them less at risk for heart-disease," says the American Humane Society.
