1. She Loves to Dance

Castro loves to dance—and judging by her social media, she is very good at it. “By consciously putting your body in motion, you’re offering yourself a 360-degree physiological reset, which can be cathartic, deeply transforming, and healing,” says choreographer Kristin Sudeikis. “The everyday life of cell phones, laptops, and screens can result in a shrinking back and in, rather than an expanding up and out,” says Sudeikis. “The dance floor offers an invitation to unapologetically practice taking up space while also acknowledging the people around you—which is something we could use more of in the world, don’t you think?”
2. She Enjoys Oatmeal

Castro loves to incorporate oatmeal (especially with peanut butter) into her healthy eating regimen. “Eating oatmeal regularly can have weight management benefits as a half-cup of rolled oats cooked in a cup of water has 165 calories, 4 grams of fiber and 6 grams of protein,” says Romi Londre, RDN. “The fiber and protein content contribute to feeling full longer and a slower blood glucose release. Oats also are an excellent source of many vitamins and minerals, including magnesium, copper, thiamine and zinc.”
3. She Loves Kickboxing
Castro enjoys regular kickboxing sessions, saying they are great for lowering her stress levels and pumping up endorphins. “Exercise has a dramatic antidepressive effect,” says David J. Linden, PhD. “It blunts the brain’s response to physical and emotional stress. Voluntary exercise is the single best thing one can do to slow the cognitive decline that accompanies normal aging.”
4. She Works Out With a Trainer
Castro works out hard with the help of personal trainer Carolina Valdivieso. “I leave you this glutes routine that we did together with @carovaldiviesotrainer, easy and fast!! So they do it at home and tell me how it went! ✅ Back Kick ✅ Lateral Plank with Leg Lift ✅ Unilateral Deadweight ✅ Quad Stretchable Band Abduction 4 Series *15reps each exercise 💪🏼 #workhard #training #workout,” Castro captioned a workout video.
5. She Does Pilates
Castro practises Pilates and considers it “a gift”. “There’s a therapeutic, preventative benefit to Pilates,” says yoga therapist Judi Bar. “because as it’s isolating and relaxing muscle groups, it strengthens them with control and breath. Like yoga, one of the best benefits is that well-being that can come from feeling better. It strengthens your core and, ultimately, it can help lower back pain because, besides tight muscles, lower back pain also comes from misalignment and lack of strength.”
