"Eternals" PhotocallErnesto Ruscio/Getty Images

In April 2013 Angelina wrote an op-ed for The New York Times revealed that after learning she carried a "faulty gene" that increases the chances of breast and ovarian cancer, she opted to have her breasts and ovaries removed. "On April 27, I finished the three months of medical procedures that the mastectomies involved," she wrote. "During that time I have been able to keep this private and to carry on with my work. But I am writing about it now because I hope that other women can benefit from my experience. Cancer is still a word that strikes fear into people's hearts, producing a deep sense of powerlessness. But today it is possible to find out through a blood test whether you are highly susceptible to breast and ovarian cancer, and then take action."

2. She Is Embracing Menopause

"I actually love being in menopause," Jolie told the Daily Telegraph after going into early menopause due to the preventative cancer measures she took. In a 2017 interview with Vanity Fair, Jolie revealed that she had developed hypertension and Bell’s palsy and noticed her skin getting drier and more grey hairs popping up. "I can't tell if it's menopause or if it's just been the year I've had," she said. "Sometimes women in families put themselves last until it manifests itself in their own health."

5. She Is Extremely Regimented

My job is very physical,” Blanchett told The Coveteur about how she got into the best shape of her life at 48 with the help of Chris Hemsworth’s personal trainer, Luke Zocchi, for the third Thor film. “It was hideous. It was horrendous. It was a hardcore cardio and weights circuit, but it only lasted 20 minutes because he had to fit it in between scenes,” she said. “But it was great, I actually wanted to get up at six in the morning and work with him for 20 minutes before the kids woke up, if you can believe it. It sounds bizarre. I’m not doing that at the moment, but I really do want to get back to it.”

At the red carpet premiere for the film yesterday in Los Angeles, she was draped in brown fabric with a silver lip-piece. Read on to see 5 ways Angelina Jolie approaches her health and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Has Worked Out Like This

Los Angeles Premiere Of Marvel Studios' "Eternals"Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

Jolie’s one time personal trailer has said that "he gets more intensity out of his clients when he has them do three different machines for 15 minutes, rather than the same machine for the same 45 minutes." Says the Mayo Clinic: “High-intensity interval training (HIIT) is not just for the young and healthy. Researchers have found that HIIT can improve health and fitness for just about everyone and has even bigger benefits for older adults. The concept of ‘HIIT’ is pretty simple. You can do anything for 30 seconds or even a couple of minutes. And then, given a chance to catch your breath, you'll be able to do it again. During a HIIT workout, you alternate between exerting a high and low level effort of exercise.”

2. She Has Embraced Early Menopause

Variety's Power Of Women: Los Angeles Event - ArrivalsJon Kopaloff/WireImage

“I actually love being in menopause,” Jolie told the Daily Telegraph when she was 40 years old. “I haven’t had a terrible reaction to it, so I’m very fortunate. I feel older, and I feel settled being older. I feel happy that I’ve grown up. I don’t want to be young again.” At the time, she said of then-husband Brad Pitt: “[He] made it very, very clear to me that what he loved and what was a woman to him was somebody who was smart, and capable, and cared about her family, that it’s not about your physical body,” she said. “So I knew through the surgeries that this wasn’t going to be something that made me feel like less of a woman, because my husband wouldn’t let that happen.”

3. She Wrote About Having a Mastectomy

"Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil" PhotocallMike Marsland/WireImage

Jolie has the BRCA1 genetic mutation. "The decision to have a mastectomy was not easy," Jolie wrote in the first New York Times essay explaining her decision. "But it is one I am very happy that I made. My chances of developing breast cancer have dropped from 87 percent to under 5 percent. I can tell my children that they don’t need to fear they will lose me to breast cancer."

4. She Has Done a Mixture of Krav Maga and Muay Thai

Angelina Jolie attends the Maleficent: Mistress of EvilGary Mitchell/SOPA Images/LightRocket via Getty Images

Trainer Gunnar Peterson got Jolie ready for some of her action films. "We got her learning a combination of Muay Thai and Krav Maga very early on. We would then pick the moves she was best at and combine them into a sequence," Peterson told SELF. “Krav Maga helps you focus your senses and be more aware of the environment around you. Once you begin training, you’ll learn to tune into your surroundings and be able to evaluate threatening situations. With this newfound perception, you can remove yourself from a potentially hostile situation before it escalates,” says Billy Macagnone, owner of Body Evolution.

5. She Reportedly Has Eaten Ancient Grains

Ancient,Grain,,Gluten,Free,,Alternative,Seeds,And,Grains,In,ContainersShutterstock

“All types of grains are good sources of complex carbohydrates and some key vitamins and minerals, but whole grains — the healthiest kinds of grains — in particular are an important part of a healthy diet. Grains are naturally high in fiber, helping you feel full and satisfied — which makes it easier to maintain a healthy body weight. Whole grains are also linked to a lower risk of heart disease, diabetes, certain cancers and other health problems,” says the Mayo Clinic.

In his TikTok, Wahlberg is seen enjoying eggs with sausage. According to University Hospitals, eggs have a lot of health benefits. “At 70 calories each, eggs are a stellar protein source and a nutritional powerhouse. When eaten as part of a balanced diet, eggs provide multiple health benefits and are unlikely to pose a risk for heart disease.”

He Eats Salmon

Wahlberg is also seen enjoying salmon. The Mayo Clinic states that salmon has a lot of benefits. “Seafood in general, and salmon in particular, is a good choice for protein in the diet. If you can use salmon in place of a higher fat meat, that's even better. Salmon is probably best known for its omega-3 fatty acids. Called EPA and DHA, these fats may support heart health, brain function and healthy joints.”

He Likes Lemon Juice

Wahlberg is seen enjoying lemon juice in his TikTok. St. Vincent’s Medical Center states that lemon is very beneficial. “Weight-loss studies have also noted the effects of lemon. Drinking lemon water, which keeps you hydrated, increases your metabolism. One glass burns at least six calories. It can also help you feel full, making it easier to resist an urge to snack.”

He Likes Olive Oil

Polyphenols are a type of antioxidant.”

He Gets Enough Protein

Piedmont states that protein is extremely important. “Protein is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage and skin. In fact, your hair and nails are composed mostly of protein. Your body uses it to build and repair tissue.”

He Eats Blueberries

Wahlberg is also seen enjoying blueberries in his TikTok. The Cleveland Clinic states that blueberries have a lot of benefits. “Because blueberries are high in fiber and lower in sugar when compared to other fruits, they don’t cause your blood sugar to spike. For people with certain health conditions, scientists suspect this positive effect could aid with blood sugar management.”

Rita Ora isn’t just a chart-topping singer and TV star—she’s also serious about staying fit. Whether she’s lighting up the stage with hits like Black Widow or guessing contestants on The Masked Singer, Ora makes sure to carve out time for the gym. In a recent Instagram post captioned "Come to the gym with me," she gave fans an inside look at her workout routine, and it’s packed with powerhouse moves. From treadmill runs to Pilates, here’s exactly how she keeps her body in top shape.

She Strength Trains

Ora is seen using dumbbells and a weighted shoulder press machine in her Instagram video. Both of these are considered strength training exercises. The Mayo Clinic says that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Runs On The Treadmill

The first thing Ora does at the gym is run on the treadmill. Healthy Talbot states that this has a lot of benefits. “Jogging or running on a treadmill helps to lose weight as well as burn fat quickly and effectively. Yet it’s easier on your knees and joints than outdoor running. This is the most popular advantage of working out on a treadmill workouts. Besides, these workouts burn calories at a faster rate than other aerobic exercises. To burn calories even faster, you just need to run longer and faster on the machine.”

She Does Tricep Exercises

Ora is seen doing tricep curls in her Instagram video. Gymless says that all tricep workouts have a lot of benefits. “Our triceps muscles enable us to extend the elbows, and it is a powerful extender of the forearm. Triceps are often used for pushing, which is utilized in our everyday activities such as opening a door, inserting a plug into a socket, or moving furniture across the room.“

She Does Leg Presses

Ora is also seen using the leg press machine in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic says that this exercise is very beneficial. “The leg press is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work a variety of muscles in the lower body. Specifically, the leg press targets the quadriceps muscles in the front of the thighs, the gluteal muscles in the buttocks, the hamstring muscles in the back of the thighs, and the calves, all in an integrated fashion. Since the leg press works several muscles at once, it's an especially efficient way to strengthen your lower body.”

She Does Pilates

The last workout that Ora is seen doing in her Instagram video is a session on the Pilates reformer. Pilates has a lot of health benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “Pilates is a form of strength training, but it doesn’t look like some of the other strength training exercises you might be familiar with. Pilates focuses more on improving muscle tone than building muscles, but the result is similar: greater stability and endurance. Pilates isn’t going to bulk you up — if anything, it’s designed to cultivate a longer, leaner look. Still, it can lay a strong physical foundation for muscle-building activities — and may even reduce your likelihood of injury.”
