1. She Is Open About Her Health Struggles

In April 2013 Angelina wrote an op-ed for The New York Times revealed that after learning she carried a "faulty gene" that increases the chances of breast and ovarian cancer, she opted to have her breasts and ovaries removed. "On April 27, I finished the three months of medical procedures that the mastectomies involved," she wrote. "During that time I have been able to keep this private and to carry on with my work. But I am writing about it now because I hope that other women can benefit from my experience. Cancer is still a word that strikes fear into people's hearts, producing a deep sense of powerlessness. But today it is possible to find out through a blood test whether you are highly susceptible to breast and ovarian cancer, and then take action."
2. She Is Embracing Menopause

"I actually love being in menopause," Jolie told the Daily Telegraph after going into early menopause due to the preventative cancer measures she took. "I haven't had a terrible reaction to it, so I'm very fortunate. I feel older, and I feel settled being older. I feel happy that I've grown up. I don't want to be young again."

In a 2017 interview with Vanity Fair, Jolie revealed that she had developed hypertension and Bell’s palsy and noticed her skin getting drier and more grey hairs popping up.
