Back Exercises

Ajtar shared her tips for getting a "sexy back" via an Instagram workout video. "When it comes to building an impressive physique, lats should be a primary focus," says personal trainer Shannon Clark. "Nicely developed lats create the sought after and powerful looking V-taper for men, and in women, nicely developed lats give the illusion of a slimmer waistline, defining a sleek and contoured figure."

Protein Smoothies

Ajtar loves protein powder smoothies made with bananas. "Bananas are known to reduce swelling, protect against developing Type 2 diabetes, aid in weight loss, strengthen the nervous system and help with production of white blood cells, all due to the high level of vitamin B6 that bananas contain," says Laura Flores, a San Diego-based nutritionist. "Bananas are high in antioxidants, which can provide protection from free radicals, which we come into contact with every day, from the sunlight to the lotion you put on your skin."

3

Discipline Over Motivation

Ajtar makes the point that when it comes to health and fitness, discipline is key. "Consistency in everything is key," she captioned a post. "Motivation will always come & go, which is why you can't rely on that alone to make things happen for you in life. Discipline & consistency will get your where you need to be. Here's the sign you needed today to commit to your goals, motivation is enough to make a start, discipline & consistency is what will keep you winning 💫"

Working Her Glutes

Ajtar loves workouts that target the glutes. "If you start now and commit to your goals 100%, imagine how good you'll look by summer 🔥🔥 few exercises from @thebrazilianbuttguide that have my glutes burning 🥵," she captioned a post

5

Thai Curry

Thai red curry made with coconut milk is one of Ajtar's go-to healthy meals. "Unlike cow's milk, coconut milk is lactose-free, so can be used as a milk substitute for those with lactose intolerance," says registered nutritionist Jo Lewin. "Lactose is the main type of carbohydrate in all mammalian milk, including human, goat and sheep. It's made up of two sugars, and your body needs an enzyme called lactase to adequately digest it. It's this enzyme that's lacking in those with lactose intolerance. Coconut milk is also a popular choice with vegans and makes a great base for smoothies or milkshakes and can be used as a dairy alternative in baking."
