Celeste likes to focus on her glutes when working out. “I’m definitely a butt girl. I like a guy to have some nice glutes, so he needs to squat and lunge,” she says. “Muay Thai is also great for the butt—it’s a full-body workout. You can feel your abs and glutes work when you’re kicking. I train with guys, and I’ve definitely slapped a couple around!”

2. No Restrictive Diets

Celeste refuses to cut whole food groups out of her diet, but she practices moderation. “If you’re craving something, eat it,” she says. “Otherwise, you’re going to eat something else that won’t satisfy you, and eventually you’ll eat what you craved anyway. Just don’t overdo it.”

3. Salmon and Vegetables For Dinner

Celeste loves a healthy dinner of oven-roasted salmon and green vegetables such as broccoli and Brussels sprouts. “Being rich in sulfur, brassica vegetables like Brussels sprouts may support gut health, and as a result improve your defense against infection, as well as conditions like colorectal cancer,” says registered nutritionist Nicola Shubrook. “This is because sulfur supports the production of glutathione, which is important for maintaining the integrity of the gut lining, as well as supporting repair. As a powerful antioxidant, glutathione works throughout the body, protecting cells from inflammatory damage and improving the body’s detoxification processes.”

4. Protein Smoothies

Celeste makes her own protein smoothies with almond milk and bananas. “Bananas are loaded with valuable micronutrients, especially potassium, which is one of the most important electrolytes in the body,” says registered nutritionist Jo Lewin. “Potassium helps to regulate heart function as well as fluid balance which is a key factor in managing blood pressure. The effectiveness of potassium-rich foods such as bananas, in lowering blood pressure and protecting against heart disease and strokes is well accepted and bolstered by considerable scientific evidence.

5. Egg Scrambles With Leftovers

Celeste uses leftover vegetables to make breakfast scrambles with organic eggs. “Eggs are rich in protein, which is more filling than either fat or carbohydrate,” Lewin says. “As a food choice, eggs score well, being high on the satiety index, a measure of how filling a food is. In fact, studies show that an egg breakfast is more sustaining than the equivalent calorie counted carb breakfast and, what’s more, may help reduce your calorie intake later in the day.”
