Ashley Graham in Bathing Suit Wears "SPF 5000"

This is how she maintains her strong physique.

Supermodel Ashley Graham is soaking up the summer sun—and making jokes about the level of SPF she needs to protect herself from the rays. How does she stay so fit? No Meat Until Dinner

Graham prefers to leave meat for dinner, as it makes her feel sluggish during the day. "I try not to eat meat until night," she says. "[For lunch] I'll have a huge green salad with quinoa, carrots, tomatoes, avocado, any green leafy vegetable and pesto sauce as the dressing."

Weights and Cardio

Graham loves weights, cardio, yoga, and getting outside in the fresh air with her family. "Being out in nature with them is just so much fun," she says. "Moving my body is a big deal." Graham also focuses on happiness. "Eating clean, healthy foods and moving my body and that kind of stuff seems secondary if you're living in a sad home or a stressful place. Joy and laughter are big deals in our family."

Acupuncture Sessions

Graham swears by regular acupuncture sessions as beneficial for her health and beauty. "I love doing acupuncture on my face and my whole body," she says. "During my pregnancies I really got into Chinese medicine, Chinese herbs, gua sha, cupping, and moxa. A lot of that has been super helpful for wrinkles, fine lines, collagen – all of that. I've been doing acupuncture for six years now."

Me-Time For Self-Care

Graham takes time to reflect and focus on herself in the mornings.  "I have these mornings where I really get to pray and spend time with myself," she says. "I can be like 'Hey, God, what's up? This is how I'm feeling.' I think those times are so sacred, and that to me is the best self-help, because you're not getting advice from someone you don't know, you're getting it from being silent and listening."

Diligent About Skin Health

Graham is known for her beautiful, glowing skin. "I have combination skin, but after I had kids, it got a lot drier," she says. "During my pregnancy I had some rosacea, and then it just felt dry. I realized that I cannot skip a day [of doing my skincare]. Even as a busy mom, I just simplify it. It's all about hydration, vitamin C and hyaluronic acid. It's great that St. Tropez has these skincare ingredients in their tanning products. If I only have 20 minutes, I can apply Luxe Body Serum all over and I'm moisturizing as I'm tanning."
