1. No Time For the Gym

Forteza prefers at-home workouts for convenience. “I run and do bodyweight workouts,” she says. “No time to go to the gym for now so I do it on my own or search exercise videos on the internet... I want toned arms and legs which is hard to achieve because I’ve been very busy with work that I don’t get to work out like I used to.”

2. Lots of Water

Forteza drinks at least two liters of water throughout the day. “Experts recommend drinking roughly 11 cups of water per day for the average woman and 16 for men,” says Harvard Health. “And not all of those cups have to come from plain water; for example, some can come from water flavored with fruit or vegetables (lemons, berries, or orange or cucumber slices), or from coffee or tea.”

3. Light Dinner

Forteza prefers a light dinner, which experts say can help with sleep. “Eating a light dinner 2-3 hours before bedtime helps your body slowly ease into sleep mode,” says the National Sleep Foundation. “Heavy meals at night, as well as that tempting nightcap, can both disrupt your sleep. Just as suddenly switching on a bright light in a dark room can alert and even startle you, eating dinner late into the evening tells your body it’s in awake mode. This makes it harder for your body to get into sleep mode.”

4. Balanced Diet

Forteza is sensible about her diet, focusing on health and not restrictions. “I don’t have any special diet,” she says. “I just eat right and healthy as much as I can.”

5. Coffee and a Light Breakfast

Forteza keeps breakfast light and simple—usually coffee and a small snack. “Coffee offers many health benefits, thanks to its complex mixture of compounds and the fact that it’s rich in vitamin B3, magnesium and potassium,” according to UCLA Health. “According to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, aim to drink three to five, 8-ounce cups (400 milligrams) a day to get the most from your coffee.

And she broke my head that she felt that she had to comply with things that society imposes on her that are stupid.”
