Barbie also enjoys golfing. She recently shared a bunch of photos of herself during a golf expedition. "Golf Chronicles," she captioned the post. According to the British Journal of Sports Medicine golf's health benefits are extensive, including mind, body, and even lifespan. Benefits include improved longevity, decreased risk of developing heart disease or suffering a stroke, good mental health, and improved strength and balance.

She Skis

Barbie also enjoys winter sports. "I love skiing," she captioned a photo of herself hitting the slopes in Vail, Colorado. Research has linked downhill skiing to a number of health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress and the occurrence of memory deficits declines.

She Goes for Walks

Barbie also enjoys taking walks. "Last one and then we go," she captioned a post. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

She Hydrates

Barbie also drinks plenty of water to keep herself hydrated. According to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine men should drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids.
