Billie has been seen responsibly enjoying the sun. Sitting in the sun for 10 minutes a day can provide several emotional benefits. First, exposure to sunlight stimulates the production of serotonin, a neurotransmitter linked to mood regulation, promoting a sense of happiness and well-being. Sunlight also triggers the release of endorphins, known as "feel-good" hormones, which can reduce stress and alleviate symptoms of depression. Additionally, sunlight exposure helps regulate circadian rhythms, leading to better sleep patterns and improved overall mood. Finally, being outdoors and enjoying natural light can enhance feelings of relaxation, rejuvenation, and connection to nature, fostering a sense of calm and tranquility.
