1. She Hula Hoops
Faiers is a big fan of hula hooping, crediting the exercise with giving her a trim 26 inch waist. “This will sound weird, but I’ve got a hula hoop indoors, I’m really good at hula hooping, and it’s great for your waist,” she tells Hello! “Weighted hula hoops can be a good addition to your exercise program, even if you're only able to hula hoop for a few minutes at a time a couple times during the day,” says Edward R. Laskowski, M.D. “In fact, any type of hula hooping, using a weighted hula hoop or a regular hula hoop, can help you meet your exercise goals and provide aerobic activity. And it can be fun!”

“I’ve never been one of those people who likes to go to the gym,” Faiers says, "But there are always bits I want to tone like my belly, arms and legs, so I do regular squats around the house and sit-ups. I also run up and down my stairs about 200 times a day for Nelly, I just think I’ve been lucky because I stay really active with her.”
3. She Cut Down On Alcohol

Alcohol has lots of empty calories, so avoiding it can be very effective for weight loss, not to mention general health and wellness. "Before I had children I was out eating all the time, drinking alcohol,” Faiers says. “Don't get me wrong, I love a prosecco or a white wine. I'll still have a few drinks, but nothing like what I used to. Back in the day you'd be out three times a week and now it's once a month if you're lucky."
4. She Works Out With a Trainer

“Billie trains with me three times per week,” Faiers’ personal trainer Ellie Hopley tells OK! “We do a mixture of gym and at home workouts to fit in with her busy schedule around filming and the kids. We do a round up of weights and bodyweight moves to really build shape and tone,” Ellie continued. “We work a lot of circuits and supersets to keep the heart rate up so it’s good for fitness too."
5. She Loves to Box

Faiers also incorporates boxing into her workout regimen. “We also do boxing once per week which she really enjoys,” Hopley says. “She wants to focus on her core as this is a weaker area but that’s quite common with most of my clients and I always make it a priority.”
6. She Cooks Healthy Meals

[Faiers] loves to cook and makes healthy dinners,” Hopley says. “Breakfast and snacks are things like eggs, bananas, protein bars and carrot sticks and hummus.” Cooking at home has a myriad of health benefits, experts say. “When people cook most of their meals at home, they consume fewer carbohydrates, less sugar and less fat than those who cook less or not at all – even if they are not trying to lose weight,” says Julia A. Wolfson, MPP, a CLF-Lerner Fellow at the Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future.
