We all want Blake Lively’s life. And her recent Instagram post proves it. Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, recently enjoyed a beach day with their family. Lively shared some highlights on her page, and made sure to look stunning. In one photo, she posed in a black bathing suit. In another, she wore a white and brown patterned top and paisley pants. She captioned the post, “She sells seashells down by the seashore.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Blake Lively stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Varies Her Workouts

Lively works with trainer, Don Saladino to help her stay in shape. Saladino shared some of her secrets to Well + Good. He says that while they have a schedule, it varies depending on what Lively is doing in her professional and personal life. "Just because you see a celebrity workout plan, it doesn't mean that it's exactly the same formula that helped them get in shape," he says. "If a leg day was set up for a Monday for Blake, but she was flying home the night before and stayed up all night with the baby and was exhausted, I'm not gonna make her do the full workout."

2. She’s Consistent

10th Annual Forbes Power Women's SummitTaylor Hill/Getty Images

Saladino tells E! News that Lively is extremely consistent with her workouts. "As she'll admit, like, some days her kids might be up all night or something's going on just like a normal mom has to deal with, but I really believe that Blake's success recently is an effort to make time and do the best that she can. Sometimes things could get in her way or sometimes things will pop up and she accepts it and she moves on. That's really it."

3. She Has A Good Mindset

Mindset,Word,Written,In,Wooden,CubeShutterstock

Saladino says that Lively has a good mindset when it comes to exercise. "She's really trying to show that level of consistency and I think that's what it comes down to," he said to E! News. "That's a good line that Blake and I have. If we're gonna come into a session, it's not about going into every session with a Rocky-type mentality…It's just that most people out there have to understand that this isn't about coming in and stepping on the gas and going as hard as you can every work out. That's the biggest mistake that people make. The reality is, it's never gonna be a perfect scenario, right? There's always going to be things getting in your way. That's just life. Just get in there and move.”

4. She Likes a Colorful Plate

In addition to working out, Saladino also helps Lively with her diet. He shared his approach to E! News. “Your plate should look colorful," Saladino shared. "Your plate should have your protein on it. Your plate should have your vegetables on it. Your plate should have your slow burning carbohydrates on it. And that's not ever going to change."

5. She Takes Care Of Her Skin

Lively has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. She shared some of her secrets to Vogue. Lively says that when she has time off, she opts to not wear too much makeup to let her skin breathe. “On a day-to-day basis I just normally wear sunscreen, tinted moisturizer and nothing else really. Nothing really make-uppy.”

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have a supportive marriage—especially when it comes to one another’s new projects. “Go see @freeguymovie this weekend or you’ll be bummed,” Lively posted cheekily on Instagram today, with an image of herself in a bikini, backside to camera—and a Photoshopped Ryan Reynolds, who’s film Free Guy is out tomorrow, making a yowza face, popping out of a pool. He’s not alone in feeling that way. Blake has amazed many with her fit figure. How does she do it? 1. She Removed Soy to Get Fit For The Shallows

blake-lively-bummed-instagramBlake Lively/Instagram

To lose weight for her hit film The Shallows..."Once you remove soy, you realize you're eating no processed foods," Lively explained in an interview with Australian radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O’ Henderson. "So that's basically what I did. No processed foods and then working out.” Easy? Not entirely. “[It] seems like, 'Oh, that's really easy to cut that out,' but then you realize there's soy in everything," she said. "Like, everything you eat, there is soy in it. Even if it's healthy, Whole Foods-organic stuff, there's always soy in it."

2. She’s Learned That Feeling Insecure Can Be “Silly”

Celebrity Sightings in New York City - October 16, 2017Raymond Hall/GC Images

After giving birth, no one could provide Lively with samples that would fit. "It doesn't send a great message to women when their bodies don't fit into what brands have to offer. It's alienating and confusing,” said Lively. “I wish I felt as confident then as I do now, a year later looking back. That body gave me a baby. And was producing that baby's entire food supply. What a beautiful miracle. But instead of feeling proud, I felt insecure. Simply because I didn't fit into clothes. How silly is that in retrospect."

3. She Knows to Value Sleep

People's Choice Awards 2017 - Red CarpetChristopher Polk/Getty Images

“Actress Blake Lively's trainer is emphasizing an essential component for healthy living that's so easy to underestimate: sleep,” reports Self. “Don Saladino, who has trained celebrities like Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, actually values shut-eye so much that he tries to make it to bed at 9 P.M. every night. ‘When I meet with my clients, the first thing we talk about is sleep, then stress levels, then nutrition,’ Saladino told the Daily Mail. ‘The exercise we leave for last because that's the easiest thing to take care of.’”

4. She Trained Hard for the Shallows

"Deadpool 2" New York ScreeningMichael Loccisano/Getty Images

"I had to be in just a bikini. So for vanity's sake, that was an issue," she told Marie Claire. "They didn't hire a stunt double until the last two weeks of shooting. So everything I did—underwater stunts, flipping off of a buoy—it was incredibly physically and emotionally demanding." Her trainer Saladino told People: “We would do an upper body workout Monday, lower body Tuesday. Wednesday was a playful pool workout where she would do laps," he said. "Thursday was upper body, Friday lower body, and Saturday we were focusing on the accessory movers: the arms, the shoulders."

5. Her Husband Thinks She’s Epic

"By the time we were in post[-production], we’d been to Comic-Con, and people went crazy for it," Reynolds said of his hit Deadpool. "The expectations were eating me alive...Blake helped me through that," he said. "I’m lucky to have her around just to keep me sane." "There was a minute where I even thought, 'Maybe I shouldn't do the movie,' because it had been this thing with such a build-up," Ryan said at the Critics' Choice Awards. "And she was the one that said, 'You gotta do it. You absolutely have to do it. It's your dream role. The role you're meant to play. So you've got to get up there and do it.’ She's been epic for me in every way."

1. Her Workouts Are Consistent

Blake’s trainer, Don Saldino, recently told E! News that Blake’s goal is "just to get in and move everyday successfully, because rather than comparing it to your best workout, she's now leaving and saying, 'Great, I moved!' That's the big lesson here. Don't feel like you have to get up off the couch and set this world record workout. Because if that's the goal, no one's ever going to be successful. We're looking for this level of consistency."

2. She Works Out Almost Every Day

Saldino told Cosmopolitan that his star client works out almost every day. “Five to six days a week, Blake can spend anywhere from 30 to 75 minutes working out. The routine usually begins with foam-rolling, then five to seven minutes of mobility work. After that, she's doing a variation on a jump, throw, carry, and doing that for three to five rounds. "That gets her body temperature up, that gets her really athletic, and it's my way of doing an upper body, a lower body, and a core movement," he said.

3. She Makes Sacrifices

The 2022 Met Gala Celebrating "In America: An Anthology of Fashion" - ArrivalsGotham/Getty Images

To slim down for her bathing suit wearing role in The Shallows, Blake cut two things from her diet. “I did no gluten and no soy,” she said in an interview with Australian radio hosts Kyle and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson. “Once you remove soy, you realize you’re eating no processed foods. So that’s basically what I did. No processed foods and then working out.” She added that it was harder than it seems. “[It] seems like, ‘Oh, that’s really easy to cut that out,’ but then you realize, there’s soy in everything,” she said. “Like, everything you eat, there is soy in it. Even if it’s healthy, Whole Foods-organic stuff, there’s always soy in it.”

4. She Is Active Outdoors

In addition to working out, Blake maintains an active lifestyle. "I hate the gym. Who doesn't? When I'm in the gym I feel like I am missing out. So I would rather rent a bike or go for a hike," Lively told You. "Even low-intensity exercise can be incredibly beneficial to your health. Regular physical activity can help prevent dementia in older adults. Activities involving sequenced movements — like tai chi — are particularly helpful, as they exercise your mind and body at the same time," says the Mayo Clinic.

5. She Doesn’t Count Calories

Saldano told Cosmo that Blake never counts calories. Instead she has trained her metabolism to burn more efficiently. "I don't think putting someone into a caloric deficit, meaning restricting their calories, is the right thing to do," he explained "and this is why a lot of coaches and a lot of people are unsuccessful."

6. She Follows the 80/20 Rule

Celebrity Sightings In New York - March 18, 2022Nancy Rivera/Bauer-Griffin/GC Images

Saldano explained to Cosmo that Blake follows the 80/20 rule, meaning "80 percent of the week, you're really good, and 20 percent you leave for error and having fun." She also doesn’t drink any alcohol.

4. She Gets Her Vitamin D

"Vitamin D isn't naturally found in many foods, but you can get it from fortified milk, fortified cereal, and fatty fish such as salmon, mackerel and sardines. Your body also makes vitamin D when direct sunlight converts a chemical in your skin into an active form of the vitamin (calciferol)," says the Mayo Clinic. "The amount of vitamin D your skin makes depends on many factors, including the time of day, season, latitude and your skin pigmentation. Depending on where you live and your lifestyle, vitamin D production might decrease or be completely absent during the winter months. Sunscreen, while important to prevent skin cancer, also can decrease vitamin D production."

5. She Likes the Beach

"Swimming can improve mood in both men and women. For people with fibromyalgia, swimming can decrease anxiety, and exercise therapy in warm water can decrease depression and improve mood. Water-based exercise can improve the health of pregnant people and has a positive effect on the pregnant person’s mental health. Parents of children with developmental disabilities find that recreational activities, such as swimming, improve family connections," says the CDC.

Over the past few years, Sydney Sweeney has become one of America’s sweethearts with celebrated roles in everything from hit HBO shows Euphoria and White Lotus to big-screen movies Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Anyone But You. In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Pilates

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.

She’s Consistent

Last year, Culpo was preparing for her wedding. She told E! News that she made sure to be consistent with her wellness in order to prepare. “Really trying to dial in [on] what I eat, how I workout, the workouts that I do. Trying to get them in consistently because you only get married once and I want to feel my best. But this past season it was just hard being so far away from my normal routine and where I typically live."

She Keeps Her Skin Healthy While Traveling

Culpo has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it, even while traveling. “I don't wear any makeup when traveling," she says to Travel + Leisure. "That's one rule because I do feel like you will have a higher chance of breaking out if you are wearing a full face of makeup. A few things I always have with me is some sort of a spray. I love Dr. Barbara Sturm or Caudalie or La Mer. I also absolutely love traveling with a makeup wipe, the Neutrogena wipes are great. Something to just take off the sweat you build up.”

She Keeps Her Skincare Simple

Culpo shared her skincare routines with Byrdie. She says that she keeps her morning and night routine simple. “I am always trying out new products, so what I gravitate toward is often changing. At night, I usually use an oil and a serum. Right now, I love the Clarins Double Serum. In the morning, I use a Vitamin C serum and an SPF, and, typically, I just rinse my skin with warm water instead of using a cleanser. It is something I swear by—it allows for the oils on my skin from sleeping to absorb naturally.”

She Uses Products With Vitamins

Culpo shared some of her favorite skincare products with Byrdie. She says that she uses ones that have vitamins in them. “I have noticed a huge difference in my skin with vitamin C and E. I love the Good Janes H2OMyGod Moisturizer—it's sort of an all-in-one moisturizer that has vitamin C and collagen peptides. As for vitamin E, I actually just purchase the oil from the drugstore. It is super cheap and great to put on any red marks I may get from an occasional breakout. The healing process is so much quicker when I am using Vitamin E oil.”

Culpo makes sure to eat healthy. She shared some of the snacks she packs with her with Travel + Leisure. "I love the Kind bars. I love any sort of nuts, to be honest with you. They are a go-to snack for me. I would say Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% and some almonds would be perfect! Also, electrolytes to stay hydrated or some sort of collagen beauty powder or something."
