Her Nutritionist, Dr Philip Goglia, explained the importance of bridge meals and between meals snacking on healthy options. "The purpose of a bridge meal is to get to lunch so that you don't overeat lunch," Dr Goglia said. You're not in low blood sugar."

In moderation, fat and sugar don't always need to be bad. "That really does start your engine for you."

Brie Larson works hard to strengthen and tone her muscles. She works her entire body through resistance training to also help improve endurance. "One strength training tip: Don't forget to breathe freely when you're lifting the weight. Most people think that they're breathing when they're doing strength training exercises, but they may be holding their breath. It's important to inhale and exhale fully between each repetition. The key is to avoid straining when holding your breath. You may find it helpful to exhale during the more strenuous phase of the exercise and inhale during the less strenuous phase," says the Mayo Clinic.

Brie Larson knows the importance of working on your balance, especially when training for a role like Captain Marvel. She stuck to a pretty strict diet majority of the time, but once in a while would allow herself a donut or a cookie. "We focus on a Mediterranean-style diet of eating for optimum heart health. The Mediterranean diet is abundant in fruits and vegetables, grains, fish, extra virgin olive oil, nuts, and seeds. Starting off with eating more meatless meals will definitely get you closer to heart health. Incorporating beans, legumes, any kind of nuts and seeds, and meatless products like tofu, tempeh, if you want to get adventurous into your diet a little more regularly. I generally say start with one meatless meal a week, replacing a meal of meat, ideally red meat, with a meatless meal," says Julia Zumpano RD, LD Preventive Cardiology, to the Cleveland Clinic.
