During the quarantine, she said: “So I used to not work out and now, especially during this coronavirus we have a couple of Peloton bikes and treadmill and whatnot. So I can't really see my trainer and I've just been doing that. Like I went through two weeks where I did it every single day. I don't care if it was like 10 o'clock in the morning or 1:00 AM at night. Like I was like, I hadn't worked out today. I have to go now…I was going to OrangeTheory before. I love that. That is such a good workout. That is amazing. So I love OrangeTheory, but really just working out and it's all in moderation.”

“My sister has Starbucks every day. That's her thing. Mine is Chick-fil-A. I literally eat Chick-fil-A every day at, like, 2:30. I go to Chick-fil-A like they already know what I want. So for three, maybe four weeks, Corey was like, ‘Mo, you guys can't even go there.’ This was in March”—when the pandemic first started—“when we really had no idea. I mean, we still don't really know, but I mean, when we really had no clue what was going on, he was like, no, you can't go to Chick-fil-A, you can't even go through the drive through. We got in this huge argument one day, because finally I was like, I don't know if I'm having withdrawals or like what's happening, but I'm going a little insane here. She told People that she still enjoys her favorite unhealthy foods, but she does so in moderation. “Every day I have to have a cheeseburger or chicken tenders at some point throughout my day, and if I don’t have a little something sweet — whether it’s a peanut butter cup, a small brownie or anything chocolate — after dinner, I don’t feel like I ate,” she says. “I love to eat, and I eat anything and everything I want, just in moderation. In July, Biermann revealed that she went through jaw surgery to correct TMJ and an overbite. This led to the model not being able to eat much, which meant she had to enjoy an all liquid diet. She revealed to BravoTV.com that she’s been consuming “soups, smoothies, and blended ravioli.”

"I only eat between 3-8 every day!" the star explained about her intermittent fasting method. "Intermittent fasting means that you don't eat for a period of time each day or week. Some popular approaches to intermittent fasting include," says the Mayo Clinic:

  • Alternate-day fasting. Eat a normal diet one day and either completely fast or have one small meal (less than 500 calories) the next day.

I am now 118 over a year and half later. I was 125 last summer."

While promoting her book, Truly Simple with EatingWell, she revealed that her diet is less strict. “I've gotten to a point in my life where not everything has to be so perfect anymore,” Cavallari said. “I used to be so strict about what I was putting in my body. I'm still very healthy and very conscious of it, but I've gotten a little bit more lax. True Roots and True Comfort had nothing ‘white’ in them: no white flour, no white sugar, no white salt. But in Truly Simple, I bend a little bit in a few of the recipes, which really reflects where I am in my life and my new way of eating. Everything is a little bit more relaxed around here now.’

Cavallari tells EatingWell that she loves making foods with cauliflower. “I love cauliflower because I think it's very versatile, and there's actually a Sweet Harissa Cauliflower recipe in Truly Simple that's my absolute favorite cauliflower recipe on the planet. If you've ever been to True Food Kitchen, their cauliflower was the inspiration behind it. There's this sweet harissa dressing that's on it, and there's little chopped-up dates in it, so it has that nice balance between sweet and savory. It's the absolute best.”

Cavallari likes to make salads. She shared one of her favorite recipes with EatingWell. “This salad has a few of my favorite things: salmon (which has omega-3s and is so, so good for you), bacon (no explanation needed), avocado (healthy fats), and spicy tomatillo ranch dressing (just yum). Together, they create culinary heaven. If you aren't familiar with tomatillos, they're similar to tomatoes but are slightly less sweet and are perfect when drenched in ranch.”

Cavallari tells Us Weekly that a lot of her gym sessions are with her personal trainer. “He kicks my ass,” she says. “He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I’ve ever lifted in my entire life. I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.”

She Shared Her Eye Makeup Trick

Cavallari shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Us Weekly. She says that consistency is one of her biggest priorities. “My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have,” she says. “I’m really petite. I have no hips. I’m just small. And so if I don’t work out for like a week or two, I feel like all my muscle goes away. So it is about consistency for me.”
