Brooke Blurton, the Bachelor and Bachelorette star, is spending a day at the beach. She didn't let the clouds in the sky stop her from going. Blurton posted a new series of photos on Instagram of herself posing on the shore. In them, she wore a brown sweatshirt, yellow beanie, and a black bathing suit. She Takes What Opportunities Are Presented

In an interview with News AU, Blurton was asked what the best advice she's ever received was. She answered that it was taking opportunities that were presented to her. "The best advice I've ever been given was from a high school teacher," she says. "She told me to say yes to opportunities until you have to say no. I thought that was a great way to live your life by exploration and diving deep out of your comfort zone into things."

She Takes Care Of Her Mental Health

Blurton makes sure to take care of her mental health each day. "I hugely prioritise taking care of my mental health, which I think comes with looking at it from a more holistic way," she tells Health Hacker. "I like to take care of myself by making sure I'm doing everything to give myself the best nourishment, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually."

She Uses Exercise As A Form Of Venting

In a post for Good Life, Blurton revealed that working out and fitness is a big part of her life. She says that she uses it as a way of venting. "Exercise has always been like therapy for me. I remember in high school when I was feeling frustrated and needed to vent anger or frustration. I would go for huge runs around the block. It would always help and make me feel better."

She Used Reality TV As A Way Of Relaxing

Being on reality TV can be stressful, however, Blurton says that she did things to make sure she wasn't on edge. She tells Women's Health that being on The Bachelor was a way to break from her stressful life. "I actually found being in the mansion a bit of a break from my lifestyle out of the house. Sometimes you need to be a little bit generous to yourself and I tried not to put high expectations on myself because for me that just creates more anxiety in yourself."

She Does Cardio & Weights

Blurton broke down her go-to workouts to Women's Health. She says that she loves to combine different types of workouts each week. "I enjoy cardio, and have always enjoyed running as a kid," she says. "I love weights because I love seeing my strength improve."
