1

Healthy At Home

Williamson focuses on healthy, whole foods at home. "We try to eat really healthy at home because when we go out to dinner it's kind of a free for all," she says. "I always have cucumbers in my refrigerator. My son loves cucumbers, and they also add texture to any salad or relish — they're also full of water and they're hydrating. I have salmon in the house a lot. I'll sear off salmon or make sashimi and that makes me feel good as a parent. I also always have grains. I do a lot of sushi rice at home, and I add in black rice or brown rice to cut it with a little bit more fiber."

Working Out For Sanity

Williamson exercises not just for the  physical benefits, but to support her mental health, too. "I'm not a great traveler so just maintaining that and some sanity is really due to my exercise regimen and I can really feel it when I don't exercise and I don't get that energy out in the right way – I feel like my life suffers," she says. "Even from an energy standpoint to maintain the energy to do it all. I feel like it's so important to maintain sanity."

3

Fish Sauce on Everything

Williamson uses fermented fish sauce to give her dishes that extra bit of umami. "Fish sauce is an ingredient that I add to almost everything," she says. "I'll make turkey bolognese like once a week and add fish sauce; it turns it into something that you can't stop eating. People always say, 'What is that flavor?' It's kind of slightly recognizable but not to the point where it feels like it doesn't work. That's something that really enhances flavor."

Biking Outdoors

Williamson went on a cycling trip through the Italian countryside, and says it was a great challenge. "I think I had to train myself on how to be on a real road bike which is not a no brainer!" she says. "It's actually a scary piece of equipment and if you don't use it properly, it can kill you. I felt that I needed to up my game on how to be on a real bicycle outside and not on a stationary bike like I was used to. It was also about sitting on a saddle for such a long period of time that's really where I struggled the most sitting on those bike seats. It seems like it would be nothing when you're talking about biking hundreds of miles – but it's not nothing!"

5

SoulCycle and Boot Camp

Williamson keeps it interesting with her workouts. "I definitely am a SoulCycler but every so many months I do this Boot Camp with Lacey Stone and I love her," she says. "She does a 2 week boot camp called Reboot which I am actually doing and it's 2 weeks of no drinking, eating super clean and I prep all my own meals. I still go to my spin classes, but 3 days a week, I go to her Boot Camp in the morning and the next one will be at The Wall – so I'll be there."
