Cameron Diaz is aging gracefully. The 49-year-old made an appearance on pal Drew Barrymore’s Instagram feed, looking just as gorgeous as ever. Fans praised the former actress' natural look. “I love this, beauty without filters, and enhancers 💉 this is what social media needs more of,” wrote one. “I love that you are both aging gracefully and you look beautiful!” added another. 1. She Is “Finally Taking Care Of” Herself

“I just decided that I wanted different things out of my life,” Diaz told pal Gwyneth Paltrow in 2020 on her “In Goop Health: The Sessions.” “I’d gone so hard for so long, working and making films, and it’s such a grind. I didn’t really make any space for my personal life. And then I decided to stop making movies and really focus on my personal life, my personal relationships with my family, with my friends." She explained that when making movies she felt “owned” and that she didn’t have time for anything else. “I realized I handed off parts of my life to all these other people. … I needed to become self-sufficient again, you know. I really needed to know that I could take care of myself and that I knew how to be an adult,” she continued. “I got a peace in my soul because I finally was taking care of myself."

2. She Makes Her Life “Manageable”

In an interview with Kevin Hart earlier this year, the actress explained that she doesn’t need a lot of help anymore. "I just really wanted to make my life manageable by me," she explained. "My routine in a day is literally what I can manage to do by myself. It's the best feeling. I feel whole."

Cameron told Yahoo Finance that forming a family is "the most fulfilling thing" she's ever done. Cameron’s mantra is “aging is living,” she revealed to Goop, adding that “knowledge and acceptance” are the key to healthy aging. “We only know it from what we see on the surface, not on a cellular level. All aging is a result of our trillions of cells aging, and once you understand the science, it gets way less scary,” she explained. In her opinion there are a few things that lead to premature aging: Stress, inflammation, lack of movement, poor nutrition, lack of sleep, not ​being connected to the people you love.​

7. Her Exercise of Choice? Strength Training

Cameron revealed to Goop that her favorite way to break a sweat is via strength training. She also maintains that if you do “the right kind of cardio” you don’t need to do anything else. “Your most important muscle in your body is your heart,” she explained in a video for OWN.

8. She Drinks Vino

Cameron recently launched her own wine, Avaline. The “clean, delicious” wine is made out of organic grapes, no “unwanted” additives and is vegan and contains less than one gram of sugar.
