Camila Cabello is unbothered by the intense attention upon her right now. The singer—who sparked off major “are they aren’t they” speculation after she was spotted kissing ex-boyfriend Shawn Mendes at Coachella—shared pictures of herself from the music festival, including bathing suit selfies in front of a mirror. “It’s whatever,” she captioned the post. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Cabello stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. Salty Skincare

Cabello loves the effect of salt ocean water on her skin. “Honestly, I've been in the ocean a lot lately, and I feel like saltwater is so good for my skin that I’ve barely used any products the past few days and my skin has never been better,” she says. “But I also [think] sunscreen, being well moisturized, serums, and taking your makeup off—like really washing well—is so important. I tend to get really clogged pores when I don't do a deep wash at night.”

2. Full-Body Workouts

Variety's 2022 Power Of WomenDia Dipasupil/Getty Images

Cabello does full-body workouts with her trainer Jenna Willis. "We end up getting in an added ab workout because of how much we end up laughing," Willis says. "Somehow she manages to keep me on my toes and turn every cardio move into an incredible-looking dance move… Naturally, Camila is always on the go so we've tailored our workouts to fit that busy lifestyle. This means a lot of our workouts include minimal equipment that focus on strength, HIIT, and balance (including complex movements that target the whole body)."

3. Body Positivity

Cabello embraces her curves and all the things that make her unique. "Being at war with your body is so last season," Cabello said in a TikTok video. "I am grateful for this body that lets me do what I need to do. We are real women with curves, and cellulite, and stretch marks, and fat, and we got to own that, baby."

4. Early To Bed, Early To Rise

L'Oréal Paris' Women Of Worth Celebration - ArrivalsJon Kopaloff/Getty Images

Cabello is a natural night owl, but makes an effort to go to bed earlier. “As far as sleep, I realize it's better for me to sleep earlier so I try to go to sleep early and not be a night owl,” she says. “Like even if I sleep at like two in the morning and wake up at noon, it's not the same as sleeping at like 11 p.m. and waking up at 8 a.m. Also I try not to like drink too much because drinking really affects the quality of my sleep.”

5. Therapy Sessions

Cabello supports her mental health through regular therapy sessions. “I started therapy when I was pretty young, like late teens, and I think it was just a necessity for me at that time,” she says. “I just felt very, very anxious and sad as a result of that anxiety. I didn't really feel shy about asking for help, and I'm so glad I did cause I went on the journey of finding the right therapist. I connected with a few different therapists along the way, and they helped me in different moments of my life. But I definitely found one right now that I feel like really made the biggest difference. And, so I think it came first out of necessity and then out of just like really seeing the change therapy made in my life and seeing how much I grew as a person.”

Camila Cabello, the singer and actress, has taken her image into her own hands, and just posted a selfie on her stories of herself in an orange bathing suit. This comes after she was annoyed that the paparazzi turn every beach trip into an unsanctioned photo shoot. “I held my core so tight my abs hurt and didn’t breathe and barely smiled and was so self conscious of where the paps were the whole time i couldn’t let go and relax and do what we’re meant to do when we go out into nature," she said of one trip. But in the photo she took herself, she looks happy. How does she stay healthy? 1. She Prioritizes Self Care

Camila-CabelloCamila Cabello/Instagram

Cabello prioritizes her self-care habits and routine. She says that she gives her body what it wants each day, and that this has helped with her wellbeing. “It is such a sign of self-care and self-love to listen and to respond [to your body]—getting back to that childlike joy, happiness, and expression again,” Cabello says to Vogue. When it comes to self-care, "I think there's a lot of what we might consider common sense things...Physical health, things like exercise, maybe diets, sleep, categories like that. And then maybe more of a psychological end of things. How are you doing things to manage your own emotional wellbeing? Maybe relaxation techniques. Socialization fits in there a little bit. There are a lot of different avenues there. And then spiritual wellbeing. Everybody has a different definition of that. It could be something like an organized religion. It could be somebody's connection with nature. There's a lot of leeway in that. But that's usually how I would kind of even break it up in their practices, the physical, psychological, and then spiritual health," Psychologist Matthew Sacco, PhD, told the Cleveland Clinic.

2. She Takes Risks With Makeup

Camila-Cabello-1Camila Cabello/Instagram

Cabello has become a fashion and makeup icon. She says to Vogue that makeup is a big part of her wellness routine. Cabello says that she likes to take risks with her makeup, and that it gives her more confidence. “I think having more confidence, being more playful about it, and using it as another way of creative and artistic expression changed my relationship with makeup.”

3. She Uses Fashion As A Tool For Happiness

2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards - ArrivalsRodrigo Varela/Getty Images

Cabello tells Vogue that fashion is another big part of her wellness. She says that trying on clothes makes her happy, and she always puts thought into her daily outfits.“For me, within like the first 20 minutes of my day, if I put on something that makes me feel cute, that's instant serotonin.”

4. She Goes To Bed Early

The 2021 Met Gala Celebrating In America: A Lexicon Of Fashion - ArrivalsJohn Shearer/WireImage

Cabello makes sure to get her beauty sleep each night. One way she does so is by not staying up too late. “Circadian rhythm is a real thing,” she says to Glamour. “I try to not go to sleep after 10:30. When I go to sleep later than midnight, I tend to get worse quality sleep, even if I sleep the same amount.”

5. She Does Things That Make Her Happy

Mental health and wellbeing is extremely important to Cabello. Specifically, her overall happiness. She tells Glamour that she puts her happiness first, and makes sure to do things consistently that make her happy. “It’s important to be on top of not just what’s making you sad or anxious, but also what’s giving you joy,” she says. “I want to be happy and enjoy my life. That’s kind of it.” She is also upfront about body image: "“I reminded myself when it impacted my self esteem that I was thinking the culture’s thoughts and not my own,” she wrote. “A culture who has gotten so used to an image of what a ‘healthy’ woman’s body looks like that is completely not real for a lot of women.”

1. Camila Knows The Importance of Warming Up

camila-cabello-veranoCamila Cabello/Instagram

Whether she’s weightlifting or doing cardio, she always takes the time to warm up before intense workouts to avoid injury. Proper warm-ups can not only help loosen stiff muscles, but it can help with performance, increased blood flow, and more. And: "Cooling down after your workout allows for a gradual recovery of preexercise heart rate and blood pressure. Cooling down may be most important for competitive endurance athletes, such as marathoners, because it helps regulate blood flow. Cooling down doesn't appear to help reduce muscle stiffness and soreness after exercise, but more research is needed," says the Mayo Clinic.

2. She Tailors Her Diet To Her Workout

Camila knows the importance of nutrition to accompany working out. You can feel sluggish and foggy if you’re not getting enough nutrients to replenish your body after an intense cardio sweat sesh. "If you are in good shape and want to fuel a daily, light-intensity workout, eat about 3 to 5 grams of carbohydrates for every kilogram of body weight. For someone who weighs 150 pounds (68 kilograms) that's between 200 and 340 grams a day," says the Mayo Clinic.

3. Body Positivity Is Big With Her

Celebrity Sightings In New York City - April 07, 2022Gotham/GC Images via Getty Images

She’s really into body positivity and feeling good about herself. “I was just running in the park minding my own business trying to be fit, trying to keep it healthy. And I am wearing a top that shows my belly,” she said. “And I wasn’t tucking it in, because I was running and existing like a normal person that doesn’t tuck it in all the time. And I was like," Darn. "But then I reminded myself being at war with your body is so last season,” Camila continued. “I am grateful for this body that lets me do what I need to do. We are real women with curves and cellulite and stretch marks and fat. And we gotta own that, baby.”

4. She Puts Emphasis On Form

Paying attention to good form when doing strength training or cardio can make workouts more effective and help to avoid injury. Camila is an active performer, getting plenty of exercise on stage, so it’s important to pay attention to doing the workouts correctly.

5. She Does Weight Training

Camila does full body strength training workouts where she tones her muscles to stay in shape. She does bench pressing, dumbbell curves, cable exercises, and more to keep her body lean and fit. “If you’re going to venture into something and you want to see good outcomes, an investment in any type of coach to get you started with the fundamentals is well worth your time. Work with someone who has a strong level of expertise and the ability to evaluate your needs as an individual. That’s a tremendous recommendation for getting started,” says personal training coordinator Scott Crabiel to the Cleveland Clinic.

Camila-CabelloCamila Cabello/Instagram

In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, Camila discussed how she suffered from anxiety in her teens and early twenties. “It was something I just lived with. I was used to having functioning anxiety that got really bad every half a year. Then I started opening up to friends, and I realized how much suffering and neuroses are normal, and that we’re all bats**t crazy in our own way, but when it keeps you from having healthy relationships and being more often than not in a relatively stable place, that I needed to seek out some therapy. Talking about it really helped me realize, ‘Oh, I think this is making my life harder than it is for other people,’” she said. Now, she gets help via weekly sessions with a therapist. “I love therapy!” she says. “I think pretending is a form of psychological torture and brings the most anxiety. We do that so much in our society and culture. We’re constantly hustling and putting on a smile when we don’t feel good.”

2. She Is Active

camila-cabello-1Camila Cabello/Instagram

Camila’s lifestyle is very busy and she’s constantly on the move, however, she regularly finds time for outdoor activities. One of her go-tos? During the pandemic, Camila moved back to Miami with her family and found time to start riding her bike and cooking. “Obviously, this is a huge luxury, but if I felt like that again, I wouldn’t force myself to do anything and I wouldn’t pretend because who is that for? If I’m not being honest, then I don’t know what I’m bringing to people, you know?”

4. Her Guilty Pleasure? Brit Food

Camila, who counts Ed Sheeran as one of her friends, loves eating British foods. ‘“I love roast beef and a Yorkshire pudding, parsnips and potatoes. I love fish and chips. I love beans on toast,” she told Cosmo.

Camila works out with trainer Jenna Willis, who revealed to Shape that the two train together three times a week using minimal equipment doing strength, HIIT, and balance exercises, including complex movements that target the whole body. Camila makes sure to infuse fun into their workout sessions. “We end up getting in an added ab workout because of how much we end up laughing. Somehow she manages to keep me on my toes and turn every cardio move into an incredible-looking dance move.”

6. She Eats Veggies

One of the greatest gifts Camila’s ex Shawn Mendes gave her? A love of veggies. “Shawn has influenced me to be healthier. I was not healthy at all before. I never ate vegetables before. Just like, easy vegetables like cucumbers or cold carrots with cesar. Which I wouldn’t say are hard vegetables,” she told BBC Radio.

1. She’s About Body Positivity

Cabello famously posted a clip on TikTok about body positivity. In the clip, Cabello says, "I was just running in the park minding my own business trying to be fit, trying to keep it healthy. And I am wearing a top that shows my belly, and I wasn't tucking it in. Because I was running and existing like a normal person that doesn't tuck it in all the time, and I was like, 'Damn.' But then I reminded myself being at war with your body is so last season. "I am grateful for this body that lets me do what I need to do," she concluded. "We are real women with curves and cellulite and stretchmarks and fat. And we gotta own that, baby.”

2. She Doesn’t Get Affected By Haters

2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards - ArrivalsRodrigo Varela/Getty Images

Being in the public eye, Cabello has had to deal with social media, and all the criticism and negativity that comes with it. However, Cabello says that she doesn’t let it get to her. In an interview on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Cabello described an incident that lead her to embrace this mindset. "I had my belly out, I didn’t know anybody was taking pictures of me," she said. "I was like, you know what, this is normal. It’s like my weight is gonna go up and down, also we have these crazy beauty standards from freakin’ Instagram of people that are photoshopped or if they’re not photoshopped, it’s not every woman’s body.”

3. She Takes Care Of Her Mental Health

The 2021 Met Gala Celebrating In America: A Lexicon Of Fashion - ArrivalsTheo Wargo/Getty Images

Cabello is all about her mental health, and makes sure that she takes care of herself. Cabello tells Glamour that she began taking care of her mental health during the start of the pandemic. “I by no means am trying to complain,” she says, “but it was such a thing of, ‘I have to get onstage tomorrow and I’m performing at this big thing,’ or whatever. ‘I want to do a good job. How do I do that when I feel nervous?’ I did this without being like, ‘Am I even happy right now? Do I even feel healthy?’ I didn’t have the space to ask myself those questions. I’m still working a ton now, but after quarantine I’m able to be like, ‘You know what? Right now I’m just not happy. I need to change something.’”

4. She Stays Healthy

2021 MTV Video Music Awards - ArrivalsJason Kempin/Getty Images

Cabello tells Glamour that having a body-positive mindset actually helps her stay healthy and commit to her wellness routine. “When I’m having negative thoughts about my body, that’s actually when I’ll want to binge-eat cookies, and then I have a stomachache,” she says. “It’s this weird psychology: The more I love my body, the more I actually want to take care of it…. As long as I’m healthy and working out and feel good, that’s the best I can do. There’s no point in trying to have another kind of body.” Cabello’s body-positivity has allowed her to stick to her fitness.

5. She Finds A Work-Life Balance

"Cinderella" Miami PremiereGetty Images

Cabello said on Instagram that she struggled to find balance between her professional and her personal life, and that prior to the pandemic, she felt very burnt out. Cabello shared that the pandemic helped her find a balance. “Nowadays I never feel guilty about making time for time off because I know that without rest, and time for joy, laziness, and play, I will feel burnt-out, stressed, sad, and exhausted and I won’t be able to do the work I want to put out into the world,” she says. “In a culture that wears exhaustion and business as a badge of honor, remember we are just animals who were meant to be roaming around the forest eating, pooping; and making babies; and in the way our society is built, overwork is literally killing us.”

So, how does she stay in such incredible shape? From strength training to boxing, here’s a look at her go-to fitness moves.

She Strength Trains

In her Instagram post, Sharvari is seen doing a strength training exercise. The Mayo Clinic says that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories. Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Does Yoga

Sharvari shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is yoga. Sharvari posted this video of herself doing poses on her page. John Hopkins Medicine states that yoga is very beneficial. “Regular yoga practice may reduce levels of stress and body-wide inflammation, contributing to healthier hearts. Several of the factors contributing to heart disease, including high blood pressure and excess weight, can also be addressed through yoga.”

She Plays Padel

Sharvari likes to play padel to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself on the court. Playing padel has a lot of health benefits. Everybody Health & Leisure says, “It improves cardiovascular fitness, helps to build strength and endurance, enhances coordination and promotes overall physical and mental well-being. Not to mention, it’s a fantastic way to burn calories.”

She Boxes

Another thing that Sharvari does to keep herself in shape is box. She first picked this up when training for the film, Vedaa. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself punching a bag. Sharvari captioned the post, “BEAST MODE on for Vedaa! ⚠️☠️🥊 Took up boxing to become Vedaa... Now I am ready to pack a punch or be strong enough to take a brutal beating 💪#Vedaa coming to a theatre near you on August 15th.”

She Runs

Sharvari likes to run to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself running on the beach. She captioned the post, “Decided to seas the day!” Better Health says that running is very beneficial. “Regular running or jogging offers many health benefits. Running can: help to build strong bones, as it is a weight bearing exercise, strengthen muscles, improve cardiovascular fitness, burn plenty of kilojoules, help maintain a healthy weight.”

Natasa Stankovic in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Wednesday Challenge"

Stankovic shares her go-to workout moves, from squats to lunges, cardio, Pilates, and strength training.

Natasa Stankovic isn’t just a content creator—she’s a fitness inspiration. Known for sharing intense workout sessions on Instagram, she keeps her followers motivated with creative exercise challenges and dynamic routines.

In her latest post, Stankovic teamed up with Aleksandar Illic for a lower body blast, pushing through variations of squats and lunges. Dressed in a sleek two-piece workout set, she captioned the session, “Wednesday challenge,” proving that fitness is all about consistency and fun.

So, how does she maintain her lean, strong physique? From strength training to Pilates, here’s a look at Stankovic’s go-to workout moves.

She Does Squats

Stankovic does squats to keep herself in shape, as you can see in her Instagram video. Piedmont says that this exercise has a lot of health benefits. “Whether you’re hoping to tone your muscles, strengthen your core or just improve overall health, squats are one of the best exercises you can do. Although the movements appear relatively simple, squats can take time to master. Joel Hardwick, ACSM EP-C, EIM2, an exercise physiologist at Piedmont Atlanta Fitness Center, says practice will pay off…Hardwick explains that squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

She Does Lunges

Stankovic is also seen doing lunges in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic reports that lunges are very beneficial to do. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles. The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer.”

She Does Cardio

Stankovic likes to do cardio workouts to keep herself in shape. She shared this video of herself doing fast box jumps in different directions on Instagram. Stankovic captioned it, “Morning cardio challenge.” Cardio exercises have a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “When you work your heart and other muscles of your body during cardio exercise, this increases oxygen supply to your whole body, allowing all muscles to work harder and more efficiently. Over time, regular cardio exercise allows your muscles to adapt to an increased workload, making regular activities seem easier.”

She Does Pilates

Stankovic shares a lot of her favorite workouts in an Instagram story highlight. In some of the stories, she is seen doing Pilates exercises on a reformer. Pilates is very beneficial. The Cleveland Clinic says, “One of the reasons Pilates is such a good workout is that it specifically focuses on building core strength.”

She Strength Trains

Stankovic likes to strength train to keep herself in shape. She shared this Instagram story of herself using dumbbells. ACE Fitness says that strength training and using weights has a lot of health benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

It is a form of deadlift with noticeably less bend in the knee, leading to greater hamstring engagement than traditional deadlifts. The move was introduced to the masses in the 90s by Romanian weightlifter Nicu Vlad (an Olympic and World Weightlifting champion) and his coach Dragomir Cioroslan. The two invented the move to help Nicu strengthen his back for the clean and jerk. Today, RDLs are commonly used to strengthen the posterior chain, using the core muscles to stabilize and the hamstrings and glutes to drive the movement.”
