1. She Got Into Eating Vegetables

Cabello admitted that she wasn’t always a fan of eating vegetables. However, her ex, singer Shawn Mendes, helped her start eating healthy. “Shawn has influenced me to be healthier,” she told BBC radio. “I was not healthy at all before. I never ate vegetables before. Just like, easy vegetables like cucumbers or cold carrots with cesar. Which I wouldn’t say are hard vegetables.” Mendes echoed her statements during an Instagram Q&A, “I just eat a lot of vegetables, so when she saw me eating a lot of vegetables, she ate a lot more.”

2. She Takes Care of Her Mental Health

Cabello is an advocate for mental health and awareness. And she isn’t afraid to admit when she needs a break from her busy career. “If it's affecting my mental health in a negative way, I'll say no and do it another way,” she told Latestly.com. “If you have any signs or symptoms of a mental illness, see your primary care provider or a mental health professional. Most mental illnesses don't improve on their own, and if untreated, a mental illness may get worse over time and cause serious problems,” says the Mayo Clinic.

3. She Meditates

Celebrity Sightings in New York City - September 25, 2021Getty Images

Cabello is a fan of practicing meditation and calmness. She and Mendes once released videos for Calm, called “Breathe Into It.” Cabello says in her video, “By sharing my own journey, my hope is that we can continue to destigmatize conversations about mental health and asking for support.” Cabello revealed that meditation has helped her get through some of the biggest struggles in her life. “Research has found that meditation may help reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. When combined with conventional medicine, meditation may improve physical health. For example, some research suggests meditation can help manage symptoms of conditions such as insomnia, heart disease, pain, cancer and digestive problems,” says the Mayo Clinic.

4. She Rejects Beauty Standards

Cabello says that she rejects the traditional beauty standards of society. After going on a run, Cabello posted a TikTok talking about body positivity. "I was just running in the park minding my own business trying to be fit, trying to keep it healthy. And I am wearing a top that shows my belly, and I wasn't tucking it in. Because I was running and existing like a normal person that doesn't tuck it in all the time, and I was like, 'Damn.' But then I reminded myself being at war with your body is so last season.” She concluded the video saying, "I am grateful for this body that lets me do what I need to do. We are real women with curves and cellulite and stretchmarks and fat. And we gotta own that, baby.” Cabello captioned the TikTok “I luv my body.”

5. She Doesn't Get Affected by Others

Cabello says that she doesn’t let criticism on social media or from others affect her. In an interview on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Cabello described an incident that lead her to embrace this mindset. "I had my belly out, I didn’t know anybody was taking pictures of me," she said. "I was like, you know what, this is normal. It’s like my weight is gonna go up and down, also we have these crazy beauty standards from freakin’ Instagram of people that are photoshopped or if they’re not photoshopped, it’s not every woman’s body.”

6. Here’s Her Take on Makeup

"I've definitely loved using make-up as a form of self-expression, especially over the past year," she told Harper’s Bazaar. "I like to play around and change it up quite a lot when when I'm working on things, but if it's just my day off I like to just go natural. I'll put on a tinted sunscreen, mascara, either some red lipstick or gloss, maybe some blush, and call it a day."

7. She Takes Time for Herself

Camila Cabello is unbothered by the intense attention upon her right now. The singer—who sparked off major “are they aren’t they” speculation after she was spotted kissing ex-boyfriend Shawn Mendes at Coachella—shared pictures of herself from the music festival, including bathing suit selfies in front of a mirror. “It’s whatever,” she captioned the post. 1. Salty Skincare

65th GRAMMY Awards - ArrivalsAmy Sussman/Getty Images

Cabello loves the effect of salt ocean water on her skin. “Honestly, I've been in the ocean a lot lately, and I feel like saltwater is so good for my skin that I’ve barely used any products the past few days and my skin has never been better,” she says. “But I also [think] sunscreen, being well moisturized, serums, and taking your makeup off—like really washing well—is so important. I tend to get really clogged pores when I don't do a deep wash at night.”

2. Full-Body Workouts

Variety's 2022 Power Of WomenDia Dipasupil/Getty Images

Cabello does full-body workouts with her trainer Jenna Willis. "We end up getting in an added ab workout because of how much we end up laughing," Willis says. "Somehow she manages to keep me on my toes and turn every cardio move into an incredible-looking dance move… Naturally, Camila is always on the go so we've tailored our workouts to fit that busy lifestyle. This means a lot of our workouts include minimal equipment that focus on strength, HIIT, and balance (including complex movements that target the whole body)."

3. Body Positivity

Cabello embraces her curves and all the things that make her unique. "Being at war with your body is so last season," Cabello said in a TikTok video. "I am grateful for this body that lets me do what I need to do. We are real women with curves, and cellulite, and stretch marks, and fat, and we got to own that, baby."

4. Early To Bed, Early To Rise

L'Oréal Paris' Women Of Worth Celebration - ArrivalsJon Kopaloff/Getty Images

Cabello is a natural night owl, but makes an effort to go to bed earlier. “As far as sleep, I realize it's better for me to sleep earlier so I try to go to sleep early and not be a night owl,” she says. “Like even if I sleep at like two in the morning and wake up at noon, it's not the same as sleeping at like 11 p.m. and waking up at 8 a.m. Also I try not to like drink too much because drinking really affects the quality of my sleep.”

5. Therapy Sessions

Cabello supports her mental health through regular therapy sessions. “I started therapy when I was pretty young, like late teens, and I think it was just a necessity for me at that time,” she says. “I just felt very, very anxious and sad as a result of that anxiety. I didn't really feel shy about asking for help, and I'm so glad I did cause I went on the journey of finding the right therapist. I connected with a few different therapists along the way, and they helped me in different moments of my life. But I definitely found one right now that I feel like really made the biggest difference. And, so I think it came first out of necessity and then out of just like really seeing the change therapy made in my life and seeing how much I grew as a person.”

1. She Goes to Therapy

Camila-CabelloCamila Cabello/Instagram

In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, Camila discussed how she suffered from anxiety in her teens and early twenties. “It was something I just lived with. I was used to having functioning anxiety that got really bad every half a year. Then I started opening up to friends, and I realized how much suffering and neuroses are normal, and that we’re all bats**t crazy in our own way, but when it keeps you from having healthy relationships and being more often than not in a relatively stable place, that I needed to seek out some therapy. Talking about it really helped me realize, ‘Oh, I think this is making my life harder than it is for other people,’” she said. Now, she gets help via weekly sessions with a therapist. “I love therapy!” she says. “I think pretending is a form of psychological torture and brings the most anxiety. We do that so much in our society and culture. We’re constantly hustling and putting on a smile when we don’t feel good.”

2. She Is Active

camila-cabello-1Camila Cabello/Instagram

Camila’s lifestyle is very busy and she’s constantly on the move, however, she regularly finds time for outdoor activities. One of her go-tos? Hiking and standup paddle boarding. “Nothin to do nowhere to be,” she captioned a recent photo of herself standup paddleboarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and also a great form of cardio.

3. She Knows When to Take a Break

During the pandemic, Camila moved back to Miami with her family and found time to start riding her bike and cooking. “Obviously, this is a huge luxury, but if I felt like that again, I wouldn’t force myself to do anything and I wouldn’t pretend because who is that for? If I’m not being honest, then I don’t know what I’m bringing to people, you know?”

4. Her Guilty Pleasure? Brit Food

Camila, who counts Ed Sheeran as one of her friends, loves eating British foods. ‘“I love roast beef and a Yorkshire pudding, parsnips and potatoes. I love fish and chips. I love beans on toast,” she told Cosmo.

5. She Works Out

Variety's 2022 Power Of WomenDia Dipasupil/Getty Images

Camila works out with trainer Jenna Willis, who revealed to Shape that the two train together three times a week using minimal equipment doing strength, HIIT, and balance exercises, including complex movements that target the whole body. Camila makes sure to infuse fun into their workout sessions. “We end up getting in an added ab workout because of how much we end up laughing. Somehow she manages to keep me on my toes and turn every cardio move into an incredible-looking dance move.”

6. She Eats Veggies

One of the greatest gifts Camila’s ex Shawn Mendes gave her? A love of veggies. “Shawn has influenced me to be healthier. I was not healthy at all before. I never ate vegetables before. Just like, easy vegetables like cucumbers or cold carrots with cesar. Which I wouldn’t say are hard vegetables,” she told BBC Radio.

Camila Cabello, who’s first name is actually Karla, was born in Cuba and originally part of the group Fifth Harmony before breaking off and becoming a solo artist. She has worked hard to reach near-icon status, and she plays hard, too. "Ready pa el veranooo," she captioned a new swimsuit photo. (Rough translation: "Ready for the summer.") 1. Camila Knows The Importance of Warming Up

camila-cabello-veranoCamila Cabello/Instagram

Whether she’s weightlifting or doing cardio, she always takes the time to warm up before intense workouts to avoid injury. Proper warm-ups can not only help loosen stiff muscles, but it can help with performance, increased blood flow, and more. And: "Cooling down after your workout allows for a gradual recovery of preexercise heart rate and blood pressure. Cooling down may be most important for competitive endurance athletes, such as marathoners, because it helps regulate blood flow. Cooling down doesn't appear to help reduce muscle stiffness and soreness after exercise, but more research is needed," says the Mayo Clinic.

2. She Tailors Her Diet To Her Workout

Camila knows the importance of nutrition to accompany working out. You can feel sluggish and foggy if you’re not getting enough nutrients to replenish your body after an intense cardio sweat sesh. "If you are in good shape and want to fuel a daily, light-intensity workout, eat about 3 to 5 grams of carbohydrates for every kilogram of body weight. For someone who weighs 150 pounds (68 kilograms) that's between 200 and 340 grams a day," says the Mayo Clinic.

3. Body Positivity Is Big With Her

Celebrity Sightings In New York City - April 07, 2022Gotham/GC Images via Getty Images

She’s really into body positivity and feeling good about herself. “I was just running in the park minding my own business trying to be fit, trying to keep it healthy. And I am wearing a top that shows my belly,” she said. “And I wasn’t tucking it in, because I was running and existing like a normal person that doesn’t tuck it in all the time. And I was like," Darn. "But then I reminded myself being at war with your body is so last season,” Camila continued. “I am grateful for this body that lets me do what I need to do. We are real women with curves and cellulite and stretch marks and fat. And we gotta own that, baby.”

4. She Puts Emphasis On Form

Paying attention to good form when doing strength training or cardio can make workouts more effective and help to avoid injury. Camila is an active performer, getting plenty of exercise on stage, so it’s important to pay attention to doing the workouts correctly.

5. She Does Weight Training

Camila does full body strength training workouts where she tones her muscles to stay in shape. She does bench pressing, dumbbell curves, cable exercises, and more to keep her body lean and fit. “If you’re going to venture into something and you want to see good outcomes, an investment in any type of coach to get you started with the fundamentals is well worth your time. Work with someone who has a strong level of expertise and the ability to evaluate your needs as an individual. That’s a tremendous recommendation for getting started,” says personal training coordinator Scott Crabiel to the Cleveland Clinic.

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”
