Camila Cabello has been enjoying a vacation with her family in the tropics. However, instead of just spending all day lounging on the beach, throwing down drinks, and feasting on food, she is staying active. On Wednesday the Havana singer shared a photo of her clad in a bikini while breaking a sweat. Read on to find out the workout that is helping Camila Cabello stay in shape while on her vacation—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bikini Photos!

1. Camila is Paddleboarding

camila-cabello-paddleboard-instagramCamila Cabello/Instagram

“Nothin to do nowhere to be,” the 24-year-old captioned a photo of herself standup paddleboarding in a black bikini. The body confident singer stood aboard her board, holding a paddle in the air while posing for a photo. "Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) has moved away from just a resort sport-something you can only find at fancy beachside properties-to an activity that you can do anywhere you can find a body of water. You can take a SUP class, go on a SUP trip, and rent SUP boards at most sporting goods stores," says Shape.

2. Stand Up Paddleboarding Is a Great Workout

Young,Woman,Doing,Yoga,On,A,Sup,Board,In,TheCamila Cabello/Instagram

A recent study conducted by The American Council on Exercise (ACE) found that standup paddleboarding offers a majorly beneficial core workout and is also a great form of cardio. And, from the look on Camila’s face, it is super fun as well. "ecause SUP involves maintaining your balance on a board with water underfoot, the belief is that your core muscles need to fire more to steady yourself. Study participants paddled at three levels of difficulty-light, somewhat hard, and hard/heavy (but not at maximal exertion). Researchers found that when people paddled at or above a light level of perceived exertion, the erector spinae (muscles of the back) and rectus abdominis (abdominal) muscles were stimulated enough to boost strength. The external obliques, on the other hand, weren't activated enough to improve strength unless people were paddling really hard," says Shape.

3. Camila Continues to Celebrate Her Body

Global Awards 2020Shutterstock

During her beach vacation, Camila has been proudly showing off her curves. In a recent TikTok video titled “I luv my body” that went viral, she explained that she is full of self-confidence. “Being at war with your body is so last season. I am grateful for this body that lets me do what I need to do. We are real women with curves and cellulite and stretch marks and fat and we gotta own that baby!"

4. She is Anti-Airbrush Generally

It’s likely that the star isn’t using any filters or airbrushing her photos either. In 2019, she reminded fans that the bodies seen on social media aren’t always as real as they seem. "I'm writing this for girls like my little sister who are growing up on social media," she wrote in an Instagram story. "They're constantly seeing photoshopped, edited pictures and thinking that's reality, and everyone's eyes get used to seeing airbrushed skin, and suddenly they think THAT'S the norm. It isn't. It's fake. AND FAKE IS BECOMING THE NEW REAL." She added that "a completely unrealistic view of a woman's body," is promoted. "Girls, cellulite is normal. Fat is normal. It's beautiful and natural."

5. She Is Committed to Authenticity

The Global Awards 2020 - VIP AccessDave J Hogan/Getty Images

“No matter who the person is or how much I want to impress them, I’m not going to let that rule how I act, how open I am, or what my opinion is,” she once told Elle about her commitment to self. “I’m just going to be myself. I listen to my gut. That’s all I can do.” "Self-compassion means accepting yourself as the imperfect person that you are. When you embrace the idea that you'll never be perfect, you can accept that mistakes are an important part of your life's journey that contribute to who you are. Being kinder to yourself also boosts your resiliency and makes you kinder and more compassionate toward others," says the Mayo Clinic.

Camila Cabello has a new look. The pop star, who first started out as a member of the group Fifth Harmony, left the group to start her solo career. Cabello recently released her third solo album and unveiled an edgier new look. Her hit songs include, “Havana,” “Bom Bom,” and “Crying In The Club.” Cabello’s trainer, Diana Maux, shared a video on Instagram of the singer working out. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Camila Cabello stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Strength Trains

In the Instagram video, Cabello is seen using weights. Strength training has a lot of benefits. The Mayo Clinic reports, “Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

2. She Does Squats

Camila Cabello.2Camila Cabello/Instagram

In the Instagram video, Cabello is seen doing squats. According to Piedmont, these are an extremely effective exercise. “Squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back. A squat has more overall benefits than, say, a bicep curl, which strengthens an isolated area.”

3. She Does TRX

Camila Cabello.3Camila Cabello/Instagram

Cabello is seen doing exercises with TRX cables in the Instagram video. According to ACE Fitness, these are great workouts. “TRX Suspension Training is a good alternative to traditional exercise modalities. It elicits metabolic responses that meet guidelines for improving and maintaining cardiorespiratory fitness, improves muscular fitness and positively impacts cardiovascular disease risk factors.”

4. She Works With A Trainer

Small,Business,Owner,Of,Athletic,Gym,Smiling,Trainer,Instructor,PosingShutterstock

Cabello works with a personal trainer to help her stay in shape. According to ACE Fitness, personal trainers can help people not get injured when working out. “If you are new to exercise or find that some movements are painful, it is worth hiring a trainer to be certain that you are moving in a safe and effective way. Taking the time to learn proper exercise technique can improve your results and prevent annoying injuries.”

5. She Gets Enough Sleep

Cabello makes sure to get enough sleep each night. “Circadian rhythm is a real thing,” she says to Glamour. “I try to not go to sleep after 10:30. When I go to sleep later than midnight, I tend to get worse quality sleep, even if I sleep the same amount. When I can’t sleep, I will put on a cooking podcast called Home Cooking. Something neutral that engages me but also doesn’t make me emotional, so I can get tired again and go back to sleep if I want to. There’s also Poetry Unbound, which reads a poem and dissects it. The host is incredible.”

1. She Goes to Therapy

Camila-CabelloCamila Cabello/Instagram

In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, Camila discussed how she suffered from anxiety in her teens and early twenties. “It was something I just lived with. I was used to having functioning anxiety that got really bad every half a year. Then I started opening up to friends, and I realized how much suffering and neuroses are normal, and that we’re all bats**t crazy in our own way, but when it keeps you from having healthy relationships and being more often than not in a relatively stable place, that I needed to seek out some therapy. Talking about it really helped me realize, ‘Oh, I think this is making my life harder than it is for other people,’” she said. Now, she gets help via weekly sessions with a therapist. “I love therapy!” she says. “I think pretending is a form of psychological torture and brings the most anxiety. We do that so much in our society and culture. We’re constantly hustling and putting on a smile when we don’t feel good.”

2. She Is Active

Camila’s lifestyle is very busy and she’s constantly on the move, however, she regularly finds time for outdoor activities. One of her go-tos? Hiking and standup paddle boarding. “Nothin to do nowhere to be,” she captioned a recent photo of herself standup paddleboarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and also a great form of cardio.

3. She Knows When to Take a Break

During the pandemic, Camila moved back to Miami with her family and found time to start riding her bike and cooking. “Obviously, this is a huge luxury, but if I felt like that again, I wouldn’t force myself to do anything and I wouldn’t pretend because who is that for? If I’m not being honest, then I don’t know what I’m bringing to people, you know?”

4. Her Guilty Pleasure? Brit Food

Camila, who counts Ed Sheeran as one of her friends, loves eating British foods. ‘“I love roast beef and a Yorkshire pudding, parsnips and potatoes. I love fish and chips. I love beans on toast,” she told Cosmo.

Camila makes sure to infuse fun into their workout sessions. “We end up getting in an added ab workout because of how much we end up laughing. Somehow she manages to keep me on my toes and turn every cardio move into an incredible-looking dance move.”

6. She Eats Veggies

One of the greatest gifts Camila’s ex Shawn Mendes gave her? A love of veggies. “Shawn has influenced me to be healthier. I was not healthy at all before. I never ate vegetables before. Just like, easy vegetables like cucumbers or cold carrots with cesar. Which I wouldn’t say are hard vegetables,” she told BBC Radio.

In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
