McGiffin is hoping to live a healthier life this year. And she's going on this journey with her husband. "We're already both quite healthy," she says to Best Magazine of herself and Cassidy. "Especially with what we eat, and don't do anything to excess (except rosé wine, of course!) But we're definitely on a bit of a mission to shape up because last year we were a bit lazy."

She Watches Her Weight

McGiffin opened up about a health scare she had to New! Magazine. She says that a doctor told her to live a healthier life in 2013. McGiffin says that this made her watch her weight. "I do fret about putting on weight. I don't want to get fat. I'm OK if I put on 4lbs but if I go above that I have to watch what I eat."

She's Aware Of Her Drinking

One thing McGiffin is working on this year is her alcohol consumption. She tells Best Magazine that she is working on being more aware of this. "I'm definitely more aware of how much I'm drinking, how much I'm looking after myself. After the last few months of doing that more, I do feel so much better."

She Supports Charities

McGiffin likes to support charities and causes that she is passionate about. One thing she is particularly passionate about is cancer. She shares a lot of posts on Instagram highlighting different charities and facts about cancer. McGiffin posted this photo from Make 2nds Count, a charity she supports. She captioned the post, "As an ambassador for this essential and amazing charity, I urge you to read these words from its founder Lisa @secondarybreastcancerandme and to listen to the women who are #fightingtobeheard. Also, please look out for the billboards highlighting their plight from tomorrow."
