Carrie Ann Inaba, the dancer, actress, and Dancing With The Stars judge, is loving her time off from work. She just posted a new set of pool photos on Instagram. In them, Inaba lounged on a large float in the water. She wore a hot pink bathing suit, showing off her figure. Inaba captioned the post, "Sunday, Summer Sunday. Finally got this thing blown up. She Puts Her Health First
Inaba is open about her struggles with her health, notably, fibromyalgia. In 2021, Inaba decided to step down from her role as a panelist on The Talk, citing that she needed to put her health first. She tells TV Insider, "I was given this incredible opportunity. I learned how to take care of myself and put myself first. Now, I'd be able to take on another show because of what I've learned."
She Developed A Plan That Worked For Her
During the pandemic, Inaba admitted that her health and wellbeing began to slip. However, she tells Hello! Magazine that she decided to get back on track by developing a plan that worked for her. "I started to find what worked for me, and I took baby steps back to being able to exercise again with the help of my doctors and my trainer Michelle Lovitt. And now I'm feeling healthier than I have in years."
She Dances
Dance is naturally a huge part of Inaba's life. It is also a big part of her workout routine. "Dance is part of my soul," she says to Hello! Magazine. "My morning playlist has salsa on it and I swear, nothing lifts the soul like a good salsa!"
She Doesn't Diet
Inaba opened up about her approach to eating to Prevention. She says that she does eat healthy, but also doesn't like to restrict herself. "I'm not a strict dieter. I don't think that anything in life should be so regimented that you're not having fun, or can't enjoy it like everybody else."
She Eats Fresh Food
Inaba tells Prevention that she loves eating organic and fresh produce. She says that this is a big part of her daily diet. "I love fresh fruit and vegetables," she says. "Fresh food is always going to be better for you."
