In a "My Day On A Plate" piece in the Telegraph UK, Deeley revealed that she likes to start her day with a certain beverage. "Hot water and lemon," she says. "I read that it neutralizes the acid in your stomach." Deeley's theory might be right, according to a piece in Doctors Health Press, by Dr. Victor Marchione, MD. "Drinking lemon water will help flush out the toxins in your body," he wrote.

Deeley may be British, but she resides in Los Angeles for a lot of the year, especially when shooting So You Think You Can Dance. And she says that she loves living in California, because of the many outdoor activities she gets to do. "I love being outside and here we just have the weather for it," she says to Women's Health UK. "I love going to the beach, skiing or riding a horse. I love that side of LA."

She Embraces Her Body & Doesn't Fight Aging

Deeley says to Women's Health UK that she doesn't feel insecure about her body and aging anymore. In fact, she says that she embraces herself and her body. "I'm alright with who I am," she says. "I'm like every other woman, though – you have to work at it a bit harder when you're older. You can't just eat or drink whatever you like, because your metabolism isn't as fast, so you have to either eat and drink a little less or move around a bit more. It's about equations."

Deeley tells Women's Health UK that she tries to eat healthy, and that she loves to cook healthy meals. She does have a favorite meal, roast chicken with a side of potatoes. "One of my go-to dishes is roast chicken. I roast it in extra-virgin olive oil with a lemon that I pierce a little and put in the microwave first, which makes the oils come out a bit more. Then I'll get sage and thyme, some rosemary from the garden, and put that inside the chicken. Then I add some garlic cloves, celery, carrots, onions, then pepper and lemon salt, and maybe a little bit of honey. I put it in the oven and baste it. If it gets dry, I'll add some white wine. I serve it with sweet potatoes – they're easier to digest – and I roast them on their own so they don't get too fatty. I'll boil them for a bit first, then sometimes I'll use some truffle oil on them. I just love truffles."

She Gets Moving Everyday

Deeley is known for her tight abs and toned legs, and she has some go-to exercises that she likes to do everyday. "I've tried to find something that works for me and that's the best thing you can possibly do," she says to Women's Health UK. "Know your body and your skin and really pay attention. We're all so busy all of the time, but the more you pay attention to your body and how it changes and how you feel, the better you do. So I've honed it down. I do the walk every day, I'll do a few sit-up and arm things, I'll do a couple of sessions of yoga a week, and then I eat really healthy."
