1. Healthy, Protein-Forward Breakfast
Jeffries enjoys eggs for breakfast with avocado and turkey bacon/chicken sausage. She also enjoys unsweetened coconut yogurt with granola. “Looking at the nutritional breakdown, one egg contains roughly 75 calories, 5 grams of fat, 6 grams of protein, 0 carbohydrates, 67 milligrams of potassium, 70 grams of sodium and 210 milligrams of cholesterol,” says registered dietician Anne Harguth. “Eggs are also a great source of vitamins A, D and B12, as well as choline, which is a nutrient that's essential in many steps of metabolism.”
2. Salmon Or Chicken For Lunch

Jeffries enjoys grilled salmon with carrots and avocado, or a delicious chicken bowl with cauliflower rice. “Oily fish like salmon are rich in a type of polyunsaturated fat called omega-3 fatty acids,” says registered nutritionist Jo Lewin. “These fatty acids are essential because the body cannot produce them, so we must include them regularly in our diet. The most beneficial omega-3 fatty acids, known as long chain, occur naturally in oily fish in the form of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).”
3. Chicken Tacos For Dinner

Dinner is usually turkey meatloaf, sushi, or chicken tacos with corn tortillas/lettuce cups. "Tortillas are such a versatile ingredient," says Kylie Arrindell, a wellness dietitian at Houston Methodist. "They're the foundation of tacos, which can be a great choice in adding variety into your diet. Corn tortillas do contain fewer carbs than flour tortillas, but this difference is very slight. The other difference to note is that corn tortillas contain more fiber than flour ones, but, again, this is a small difference."
4. Healthy Snacks

Jeffries enjoys rice cakes with almond butter or a vegan protein shake with blueberries. “Almonds are rich in nutrients that help protect the heart, including unsaturated fatty acids, phytosterols, magnesium, vitamin E, copper and manganese,” says registered nutritionist Nicola Shubrook.
5. She Avoid Sugar
Jeffries goes out of her way to avoid sugary drinks and foods, something experts recommend for overall health. “Reducing sugar intake has clear health benefits, including reduced calorie intake, which can help with weight loss, and improved dental health,” says James Brown, Associate Professor in Biology and Biomedical Science, Aston University.
