Charli D'Amelio is once again causing a stir on the Internet, this time by posting a rare bathing suit selfie. “I’ve been stuck in my ways for a while,” the influencer, who first went viral on TikTok, told her many millions of fans. “Yessss😍,” commented fellow Web star Tatayanna Mitchell. “Yep ate the girls up 🔥🔥🔥,” said Markell Washington. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Charli D'amelio stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Has Danced Her Whole Life

“I actually had like the one video to go viral that kind of started it all,” she told Jimmy Fallon. “It was a duet of this woman, Move With Joy, who makes ‘easy dances’ and it's her voice speaking. And you just copy whatever she says. So I edit the video that she did, and it was just like, step, step, hip, hip, stuff like that. Very simple. It was like eight moves and I posted it. I was on my way to some summer dance camp thing. It was about an hour and a half away from my house. So I had posted it before I left. And then I got in the car with my mom for an hour and a half. And my phone kept going off and I was like, mom, like, what's going on? Like, why are people liking this? This is so…I got 90 likes,” she said with a laugh. “And then I was like, wait, what do I do now?” She continued: “Then my next video, I went back to of course, posting me dancing in my room or my bathroom by myself. I've been training and dancing since I was three, I actually started competing when I was five. Dance has been a part of my life since, ever. There's videos of me dancing…before I could walk.”

2. She Has Anxiety

Charli can get anxiety and panic attacks that cause her to "cry for three days straight" until she feels like she’s "not even Charli anymore." "I'm just this emotional person that doesn't function properly," she said to Avani Gregg on the Facebook Watch show "Here For It.” "And I get into these, like, really, really bad places, and it's scary for me. I'm not myself, and I don't know what takes over, but it's just so much built up that I'm trying to get out all at once, and it's really tough. Especially when you feel like everyone has an invitation to say anything about you."

3. She Drinks Coffee

“Caffeine is the first thing that comes to mind when you think about coffee. But coffee also contains antioxidants and other active substances that may reduce internal inflammation and protect against disease, say nutrition experts from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine,” says Hopkins Medicine. “Recent studies found that coffee drinkers are less likely to die from some of the leading causes of death in women: coronary heart disease, stroke, diabetes and kidney disease.”

4. She is Not Perfect 24/7

“Same as everyone else, I grew up watching people online and seeing how perfect they are and no one really gets into the, ‘Hey, I'm not perfect. I have lots of things that I wanna work on to make myself feel better. And there's things that I still have to do.’ I still have to, at the end of the day, go to school, I still have to eat three meals a day. I have to clean my room. I have to do chores around the house. Like it's the same thing. And I feel like having people know that I do those exact same things that they do is something that's a little bit comforting and it brings us together. And it's like, I don't wanna put myself on this pedestal that I am perfect 24/7, because I'm very much not. I have my bad days. I have my down days. I live a normal life at the end of the day, but I post on social media and I feel like so many people try to play themselves as perfect. And I just cannot be that person. I can't do that to myself. That's too difficult,” she told ET.

5. She is Anti Cyber-Bullying

Charli and her sister Dixie “paired up with UNICEF for Internet Safety Day and talking about how cyber bullying really can affect people. And I feel like it's very important to raise awareness about that. Cause a lot of people don't like talking about the hate they get and I know, especially me, I get a lot,” she told Fallon. “I'd rather use the platform that I have now to talk and raise awareness because yeah, ot hurts when I'm getting it [now], but it hurts the same when I was in school and someone would comment like, oh, you're ugly under my Instagram post. And I had like what? 40 followers? Yeah. It hurts the same. So I just feel like it's very, very important raising awareness about that and just showing everyone like it's okay to not be okay.”

TikTok star Charli D'Amelio is giving a very sweet shout out to pal Markell Washington via her Instagram account. D'Amelio shared a picture of herself and Washington over the years, including one of her posing in the water in a pink bikini, laughing with the YouTube star. “No one does it like you @markellwashington. Happy belated birthday. I love you more than life. Thank you for being you. Family forever 🤍.” Markell responded in the comments, saying “Thank you so much char char 🥹😭❤️❤️ I love you so much lil sis, we are riding together forever until the wheels fall off PUURRR you mean so much to me 💙💙.” D'Amelio has made it clear family always comes first—here’s how she balances work and play.

1. Learning From Reality Show

Los,Angeles,-,Apr,26:,Mark,D'amelio,,Dixie,D'amelio,,CharliShutterstock

D'Amelio says doing a reality show with her family taught her a lot. “I think I obviously learned a lot, just because you're watching yourself go through situations,” she says. “And I think a lot of it is just maturity and growing up, learning new things, and being able to see what you look like from an outside perspective. I think is really interesting. I feel like I'm probably very similar in a lot of ways, and in the ways that I'm different I don't even realize until other people watch it and they're like, ‘Whoa, okay. That's cool.’”

2. Embracing Individualism

Charli,D'amelio,At,The,Nickelodeon,Kids',Choice,Awards,2023,HeldShutterstock

D'Amelio loves that social media gives young people a way to express their creativity. “I think for a long time you were supposed to fit into this little box of how you’re supposed to be, and I feel like with this whole generation that grew up on social media, we’ve seen how fast trends change and how people can express themselves in different ways,” she says. “That’s something that’s so amazing and I feel like individuality is super important because it’s so easy to fall in line and be just like everyone else. Even before TikTok, I went to a school where we wear uniforms, and still, every single person would wear their uniforms in their own way.”

3. She’s a Dancer

Anyone who has watched D'Amelio’s TikTok videos knows she is an gifted dancer. "I've been a competition dancer my entire life,” she says. “I know a lot of people don't know that I study dance outside of TikTok, but it is something that I definitely want to do more of.”

4. Creating Perfume

D'Amelio is thrilled to create her own perfume. “If I looked at myself kind of five years ago, I would've never thought that I would be coming out with my own fragrance,” she says. “When the idea was [presented] to me, it really ticked a box that I didn't have. It was something that I didn't see a lot of other people my age pursuing, and I really didn't have a signature fragrance that I felt like made me, me. [I was] missing that one thing I have to do before I leave to make myself feel ready. And Born Dreamer really filled that for me. It's the perfect blend of fruity, floral, feminine, strong, and confident. It plays well off of everyone's natural skin smell."

5. Taking Time To Slow Down

D'Amelio likes to relax with spa treatments. “My life has been super busy lately, with Dancing with the Stars and upcoming projects,” she said in 2022. “When I get stressed, I like to take time for myself—alone time allows me to recenter myself and relax. With such a busy schedule, doing at-home spa treatments provides some calmness back into my life, too. I also like to stay organized with little reminders so I can check off things as they happen.”

1. Exercise

@benbrunotraining

Charli regularly trains with Ben Bruno, trainer-to-the-stars. She, her sister, Dixie, and mother Heidi work out together. In a recent TikTok video, they do a variety of strength and weight training exercises. You can also train with her via the FitOn app. Physical activity is anything that gets your body moving. Each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle-strengthening activity, according to the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans.

2. Dance

Charli loves to dance. In a recent interview with People, the star, who skyrocketed to fame showing off her moves on TikTok confessed that she had lost her passion until she went on Dancing with the Stars. "You know, dance wasn't something that I found fun anymore. It was something that was more just, I did to do it and, you know, it was over when it was over and I didn't look forward to it anymore. And I think with Dancing With the Stars every week, it's like, you know, I'm hearing from other people that I finally look like I'm having fun," she said. "I look happy and I'm feeling, kind of, those same things that I used to feel when I was younger, dancing, that I kind of lost and thought that I wouldn't find again," she said. "Just because it had been so long without being that excited for performance. To be able to do that again is really a full circle moment for me and just makes me really happy."

3. Cheat

2023 REVOLVE FestivalSteven Simione/Getty Images

Charli engages in the occasional cheat meal. Her go-to? Dunkin Donuts, who she ended up partnering with. “The Dunkin Donuts collaboration came about after a lot of free promotion. For a while, everyone thought I was getting paid. But I was not. I just shamelessly promoted and promoted because I really wanted to work with them. And then they finally gave me the opportunity and I immediately took it. And since then, we’ve come out with two of my own drinks on the menu and sold-out cold brew nationwide. It was a really big hit for me. And it was a really great feeling seeing all of that come together. It was definitely a lot of my determination to work with Dunkin Donuts,” she told Forbes.

4. Face Your Eating Issues

Nickelodeon's 2023 Kids' Choice Awards - ArrivalsSteve Granitz/FilmMagic

Charli is an eating disorder survivor, which she opened up about on her reality show. “Whenever I first started TikTok ... I was very unhealthy,” she says. “I would lose a bunch of weight, and then gain a bunch of weight, and then lose it, and my comments would switch up with that,” she said. She confessed that after binge sessions she would make herself sick and then starve herself. “It was really bad,” she said. “You could see it because I’m short, so when I put on weight people would be like, ‘Oh, you gained weight,’ and then they’re like, ‘Oh, she lost so much weight, she looks so good.’” At her thinnest, she was trolled for being “skin and bones.” “I let it get to me and I wish I didn’t,” she added.

5. Talk About Your Food Issues

“It’s extremely hard to go from having a very unhealthy mindset with food to a healthy one, especially when you’ve dealt with it alone for so long,” she added, revealing that she ended up meeting other influencers and having an open discussion about it all. “At least now I have friends that I can talk to and that made me work so much harder to get a healthy relationship with food again.”

Alice De Bortoli doesn’t just light up Instagram with her stunning fashion and effortless style—she also shares the secrets behind her enviable beach-ready physique. The Italian influencer keeps her followers in the loop when it comes to fitness, beauty, and wellness, proving that looking and feeling great is all about consistency. From skincare rituals to core-sculpting workouts, De Bortoli’s daily habits make it clear that staying in shape is about more than just hitting the gym. Whether she’s cooking up homemade meals, breaking a sweat, or showing off a fresh new look, she’s all about feeling her best from the inside out. Here are five of her go-to habits for maintaining a strong, confident, and glowing presence all year long.

She Takes Care Of Her Skin

De Bortoli has impressive skin. Naturally, she takes care of it on a regular basis. De Bortoli shared this video on Instagram sharing her skincare routine. She captioned it, “The secret to perfect skin? Here is my step by step routine! ✨💦🎀 What product can you absolutely not live without?”

She Changed Her Hair Color

Alice De Bortoli dyed her hair

De Bortoli recently changed her hair color. She explained why in the caption of this Instagram post. “The good thing about this color is that it does not require frequent touch-ups and it easily adapts to natural hair growth, it is versatile and can enhance any body and face shape 🧡for those who are tired of blonde or brown, bronde is the solution to change harmony without distortion 🤍for those who have a fair complexion, the most golden tone is recommended 🤎 for the dark complexion, on the other hand, more ash brown ❤️ 🔥what can I say... For me the bronde conquered, and what do you think?”

She Cooks

De Bortoli likes to cook, and she was taught to do so by her grandmother. She shared this video on Instagram of herself and her grandmother cooking together. De Bortoli captioned it, “Grandparents are wealth in society, my grandmother loves to cook and do it with her since I was a child. She has always inspired my creativity, patience, discipline and order but above all traditions, history, and the concreteness of nature's gifts. The greatest teaching my grandparents passed on to me is respect for people, the environment, animals and the kitchen... Today together we made Carnival Frittelle, an easy, quick dessert that adults and kids love. The ingredients are few and simple (but of high quality) and, trust me, the result is guaranteed: nice round but above all soft and tasty.”

She Works Her Abs

Alice De Bortoli doing ab exercises

Alice De Bortoli/Instagram

De Bortoli shared this video of herself working out on Instagram. In it, she is seen doing core exercises like sit-ups. Core exercises are extremely important. The Mayo Clinic says, “Strong core muscles make it easier to do many activities. When your core muscles are strong, it's easier to swing a golf club, get a glass from the top shelf and bend down to tie your shoes. Strong core muscles help athletes, such as runners. That's because weak core muscles can lead to more fatigue, less endurance and injuries.”

She Works Out With Others

In the previous Instagram video, De Bortoli is seen working out with a friend. Better Health says that this has a lot of benefits. “You’re less likely to get bored when you have a workout buddy, especially a friend. While you’re catching up, having a laugh, encouraging each other, you’re also getting healthier. It’s a win-win. Chatting to a friend during exercise and breaks can help time pass quickly too. You’ll have more options as well, such as a game of tennis or squash.”

I'm still very healthy and very conscious of it, but I've gotten a little bit more lax. True Roots and True Comfort had nothing ‘white’ in them: no white flour, no white sugar, no white salt. But in Truly Simple, I bend a little bit in a few of the recipes, which really reflects where I am in my life and my new way of eating. Everything is a little bit more relaxed around here now.’

She Loves Cauliflower

Cavallari tells EatingWell that she loves making foods with cauliflower. “I love cauliflower because I think it's very versatile, and there's actually a Sweet Harissa Cauliflower recipe in Truly Simple that's my absolute favorite cauliflower recipe on the planet. If you've ever been to True Food Kitchen, their cauliflower was the inspiration behind it. There's this sweet harissa dressing that's on it, and there's little chopped-up dates in it, so it has that nice balance between sweet and savory. It's the absolute best.”

She Loves Salad

Cavallari likes to make salads. She shared one of her favorite recipes with EatingWell. “This salad has a few of my favorite things: salmon (which has omega-3s and is so, so good for you), bacon (no explanation needed), avocado (healthy fats), and spicy tomatillo ranch dressing (just yum). Together, they create culinary heaven. If you aren't familiar with tomatillos, they're similar to tomatoes but are slightly less sweet and are perfect when drenched in ranch.”

She Works With A Trainer

Cavallari tells Us Weekly that a lot of her gym sessions are with her personal trainer. “He kicks my ass,” she says. “He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I’ve ever lifted in my entire life. I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.”

She Shared Her Eye Makeup Trick

Cavallari shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Us Weekly. She says that consistency is one of her biggest priorities. “My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have,” she says. “I’m really petite. I have no hips. I’m just small. And so if I don’t work out for like a week or two, I feel like all my muscle goes away. So it is about consistency for me.”

Rebeca Andrade is an Olympic gymnast. She is the most decorated Olympic athlete from Brazil, having won two gold medals, three silvers, and a bronze. Andrade recently shared some highlights of her native Brazil on Instagram. In some of them, she posed in a swimsuit while wading. Andrade captioned the post, “SC-&-RS🏕️🌅❤️ Being free is a paradox. It's committing to the life you want, without running away from the work that it entails. It's building freedom every day, with conscious choices and, mainly, with the acceptance that freedom is not the absence of limits, but the autonomy to know which ones are worth it and which ones are not. Being free is being willing to carry the weight of your own life and still find it funny.”

She Swims

In her Instagram post, Andrade is seen swimming. The Cleveland Clinic says that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming takes much less of a toll on your body than, say, running or riding a bike. That’s because exercising in water lessens the impact of your body weight on your joints.”

She Does Gymnastics

Gymnastics is the main way Andrade stays in shape. British Gymnastics states that the sport has a lot of benefits. “When you take part in gymnastics, or any sport for that matter, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These also help to trigger a positive feeling in the body which can have a positive impact on your happiness and mental wellbeing. This can help to combat feelings of anxiety and depression.”

She Prioritizes Safety

Andrade talked about her training approach in an interview with the Olympics website. She says that she and her coach prioritize her safety, and that she will skip floor sessions if she isn’t able to do it. "I talk a lot with my coach and we trust in each other. We always try to be really safe, and do floor in the correct moments. He believes in me. I'm never going to lie to not do it. So, when I really tell him that I can't do it, it's because I cannot and he always respects that.”

She Sets Goals

In her Olympics website interview, Andrade talked about her commitment and goal setting. Specifically, she talked about her goal to make the Olympic team. “The other [goal], which is the main one, is for us to qualify as a team,” Andrade said. “I think it will be very important for me, for my team, and the focus is on that, whatever happens there, the result is a consequence of our work, of our commitment. But I really want to be there with my team and be happy and healthy.”

She Cooks

Andrade makes sure to eat healthy. She also likes to cook a lot of her own meals. She shared some of her favorite things to make in an interview with NPR. “There was one that was with potatoes and cheese, chicken. There’s cake. There’s cookies. A lot of things.”
