“Being mentally healthy is of the utmost importance,” Charly explained during a recent interview with Forbes. “Such a big part of my job is being emotional and influential to other people. You must make sure you're taking care of yourself before you start to influence or take care of other people. I believe that taking care of myself first has allowed me to help so many people, which is what I’m passionate about down to my core. When I speak to individuals and when I go about my work life, I am a very emotional person, and I'm proud to say that. Being emotionally intelligent isn't bad.”

5. She Boxes

Another workout Charly loves? Boxing. Why should you take a boxing class? "This kind of boxing has many health benefits, because it constantly requires you to think, change your position, and change your posture," physical therapist Linda Arslanian, director of rehabilitation services at Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women's hospital tells Harvard Health."You're swinging your arms, moving the muscles of your arms and shoulders, increasing your upper-body strength. And when you're in the boxer crouch with a wide stance, with your knees slightly bent, you're strengthening your core muscles, back, and legs.”

1. She Accepts Compliments From Others

People's Choice Awards - Red CarpetGetty Images

Jordan opened up about her life and career in an interview on The Zach Sang Show. She says that she is working on accepting compliments from other people. Jordan says that she used to overthink compliments, but is working on no longer having this mindset. “I think to be able to accept a compliment is nice. Cause I know a lot of people that are in the position that I'm in, and like when people compliment them, it happens so frequently. They actually get really avoidant of it and are anxious about it. Which I totally understand. I actually went through a phase where I hated when people complimented the way that I looked right off the bat. Cause I was like, ‘that's the first thing that they notice. What I value about myself isn't what other people value about me.’ And it was like this whole fucking spiral that I went down. But now I kind of am just like, ‘wow, that's like really nice that someone would even say anything in general.’”

2. She Tries New Things

Jordan is all about putting in the work. And parts of that work means trying things out. Jordan said on The Zach Sang Show, “If you want something to be good, you have to put the time and energy into it. So I test things out. I think I test people, I test people for a while before.”

3. She’s Consistent

Charly Jordan Birthday EventVictoria Sirakova/Getty Images

In an interview on KIIS FM, Jordan gave some advice to other content creators. She says that consistency is the most important factor. “It's like going along with your life, and building that story, and being consistent. Consistency is probably the biggest tip that I can give people. Um, when growing your social media and being active with people, actually building a relationship with your fans. A lot of people just go for the number, but you gotta even like 20,000 people. Like that's so many people. If you can actually utilize that number.”

4. She Opened Up About Her Mental Health

Mental,Health,Awareness,Word,Cloud,-,Female,Hand,Palm,UpShutterstock

Jordan is open about her struggles with her mental health. She shared why she decided to open up about this to KIIS FM. “I really struggled with my mental health,” she admits. “I was trying to talk to people around me about it. And no one knew what I was talking about. I was like, ‘Hey, I'm having panic attacks.’ No one in my family struggled with that. No one that I knew struggled with that. So I got online, and kind of went live one day and talked about it and there were, I mean I only had like, I think it was like 10,000 followers at the time, but there were some people that were like, ‘I struggled with that too.’ And that really motivated me to wanna keep talking about it, to wanna keep posting. And that's, that's the whole reason we're supposed to be online.”

5. She Makes Sure To Workout

Jordan makes sure to workout. She shared this lower body circuit on her Instagram. In it, Jordan does exercises like high knee hip rotations, low arm sweeps, and glute stretches. She captioned the post, “Since so many of you have been asking! Here’s one of my at home circuit workouts that I do all the time to work my legs and glutes. All you need is ankle weights and a set of 25lb weights!”

Charli exercises to keep herself in great shapes. She regularly trains with her sister, Dixie, and mother Heidi, with trainer-to-the-stars Ben Bruno. In a recent TikTok video, the family can be seen working out together, doing a variety of strength and weight training exercises. You can also train with her via the FitOn app.

2. She Dances

Another way Charli stays in shape is by dancing. However, in a recent interview with People she confessed that she had lost her passion on the dance floor until she went on Dancing with the Stars. "You know, dance wasn't something that I found fun anymore. It was something that was more just, I did to do it and, you know, it was over when it was over and I didn't look forward to it anymore. And I think with Dancing With the Stars every week, it's like, you know, I'm hearing from other people that I finally look like I'm having fun," she said. "I look happy and I'm feeling, kind of, those same things that I used to feel when I was younger, dancing, that I kind of lost and thought that I wouldn't find again," Charli says. "Just because it had been so long without being that excited for performance. To be able to do that again is really a full circle moment for me and just makes me really happy."

3. She Loves Dunkin Donuts

Bangkok,,thailand,-,July,26,2019,:,Dunkin,Donuts,HotShutterstock

Charli loves Dunkin Donuts so much that she ended up teaming up with them. “The Dunkin Donuts collaboration came about after a lot of free promotion. For a while, everyone thought I was getting paid. But I was not. I just shamelessly promoted and promoted because I really wanted to work with them. And then they finally gave me the opportunity and I immediately took it. And since then, we’ve come out with two of my own drinks on the menu and sold-out cold brew nationwide. It was a really big hit for me. And it was a really great feeling seeing all of that come together. It was definitely a lot of my determination to work with Dunkin Donuts,” she told Forbes.

4. She Battled an Eating Disorder

2022 YouTube Streamy Awards - ArrivalsFrazer Harrison/WireImage

In her early days of fame, Charli battled an eating disorder. She recently opened up about it on her reality show. “Whenever I first started TikTok ... I was very unhealthy,” she says. “I would lose a bunch of weight, and then gain a bunch of weight, and then lose it, and my comments would switch up with that,” she said. She confessed that after binge sessions she would make herself sick and then starve herself. “It was really bad,” she said. “You could see it because I’m short, so when I put on weight people would be like, ‘Oh, you gained weight,’ and then they’re like, ‘Oh, she lost so much weight, she looks so good.’” At her thinnest, she was trolled for being “skin and bones.” “I let it get to me and I wish I didn’t,” she added.

5. She Has a “Healthy” Mindset with Food Now

“It’s extremely hard to go from having a very unhealthy mindset with food to a healthy one, especially when you’ve dealt with it alone for so long,” she added, revealing that she ended up meeting other influencers and having an open discussion about it all. “At least now I have friends that I can talk to and that made me work so much harder to get a healthy relationship with food again.”

1. She Does HIIT Workouts

Charley enjoys HIIT workouts. "I'm just about to do my first workout of 2022, wish me luck. I've had all of Christmas off so now I'm ready to get back on it,” she captioned an Instagram post. Research backs up the benefits of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts, including body fat reduction, improved cardiovascular function, and mental health. It is also time effective.

2. She Doesn’t Eat in Bed

Attractive,Girl,Eating,Oatmeal,For,Breakfast,While,Sitting,On,BedShutterstock

As a rule, Charley never eats in bed. However, she has one exception. "Name something better, obviously I don't eat in bed as a rule but you know me and the fish finger sandwich thing," she captioned a post.

3. She Goes for Walks

Charley enjoys spending time in nature. She loves going for regular walks. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

4. She Dances

Charley shares a lot of social media videos of herself engaging in one of her favorite calorie-blasting activities: Dancing. Dancing is a great workout for many reasons. Not only does it build strength and promote flexibility, but helps you lose weight and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop heart disease or die from it than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues.

5. She Swims in Cold Water

In her most recent social media posts, Charley encourages a polar plunge. “You can cold water swim without telling everyone,” she captioned it. Swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.

Too Hot To Handle star Carly Lawrence is clearly happiest when she’s in a bikini. The reality star posted a video of herself on Instagram looking stunning in a purple bikini, with one fan commenting that she looks “maravilhosa”. So how does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Lawrence stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Loves Oysters

Lawrence enjoys oysters, which are a great source of vitamin D, copper, selenium, iron, vitamin B12, and zinc. “Yes, oysters are very good for you,” says preventive cardiology dietitian Julia Zumpano, RD, LD. “In fact, you probably didn’t know that it’s hard to beat all the health benefits of oysters from a nutritional standpoint. Oysters can really pack a healthy punch. Think of oysters as little shells full of nutrients.”

2. She Stays True To Herself

Launch Of MuzicSwipeMichael Tullberg/Getty Images

Being on a reality show didn’t affect Lawrence’s sense of self. “For me it was easy because I just didn’t have to think about it,” she told COMPLEX. “I just said what I wanted to say, I did what I wanted to do. There wasn’t much thought into it because I was like, this is just who I am as a person. I look back and I’m like, OK, maybe I shouldn’t have done or said that, but then I’m like, well, I’m being authentic. So that’s me. And if people don’t like something that I did or said, then they might just not like me.”

3. She Loves Her “Beach Hair”

Lawrence isn’t a fan of the overly-groomed look, preferring messier “beach hair”. “A lot of people just tell me to brush my hair, which I don’t disagree with them,” she jokes. Lawrence’s hair might actually be healthier this way, experts say, "After only a day of not using irons or heat instruments to style the hair, it will be in the condition that our hair is which is dehydrated, fragile, dull, and lifeless," says Garnier celebrity hairstylist Millie Morales. "After a month, you will notice an incredible, stronger change in your hair. You would have recovered the hydration, the natural oils of your hair and would have strengthened the protective layer of the hair."

4. She Loves the Water

Lawrence has posted lots of snaps of herself frolicking in the ocean (in a bikini, of course!). “The color blue has been found by an overwhelming amount of people to be associated with feelings of calm and peace,” says clinical psychologist Richard Shuster, PsyD. “Staring at the ocean actually changes our brain waves’ frequency and puts us into a mild meditative state.”

5. She Loves to Dance

Lawrence enjoys dancing, based on her TikTok posts. “We know that movement is good for everyone,” says Emily Sandow, supervisor of dance physical therapy at NYU Langone’s Harkness Center for Dance Injuries. “A healthy lifestyle is integrating the mind, body and soul relationship, and dance has all of those characteristics. Everyone can do something, even if it’s just you just tapping your foot. Everyone can do something where they can move their body to music, and that’s really valuable.”

In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
