She Wrestles, Naturally
Green is a professional wrestler with NXT. Naturally, this is the main way she stays in shape. "I enjoy the physicality of being a wrestler," Green told Fitness Gurls. "The bumps & bruises I get are the best part of my job. I look at those like I would've looked at a trophy for a kickass soccer game, or a medal for winning the 100m race. I've also always loved working out and seeing my body change, so now to be able to do that and be rewarded is amazing."
She Swims
Green loves to swim as a way to stay in shape. She posts several beach and pool photos and videos on Instagram. She posted this video of herself snorkeling in the ocean, captioning it, "Under the sea." She also posted this set of photos of herself in her hotel's outdoor pool, captioning it, "No caption could do this view from our villa justice."
She Trains With Friends
To be a wrestler, Green has to train hard. Sometimes, she doesn't just train alone, but with her friends. Green posted this photo on Instagram of herself and two of her friends at the gym. She captioned it, "New location, same death."
She's Consistent
A big part of Green's wellness routine is consistency. "In wrestling, we have no offseason," she explained to Fitness Gurls. "So unlike most sports, we don't have time to binge eat or to take vacations from the gym. That in itself is a blessing and a curse. I constantly stay in the gym and make sure that my workout routines are ones that I can uphold 24/7 as opposed to fad diets."
She Takes Rest Days
While Green trains hard, she also makes time for her body to recover. She tells Fitness Gurls that rest days are very important to her fitness routine. "There are plenty of injuries that come with my job. I've learned to workout around those, while also knowing when to just REST."
