Balanced Diet

Veitch makes sensible choices during the week and allows herself to indulge on the weekends. "It's all about balance for me," she says. "I love sushi, chocolate and fast food! I won't deny myself any of that, so I try to keep it as strict as I possibly can by maintaining that balance. I keep count on what I eat during the week, and when I treat myself I just work out a little more to try to counter some of it. I eat quite healthy as well but never restrict myself in enjoying the amazing things in the foodie world!"

Running and Walking

Veitch loves to go for a walk or run to balance out her food choices on the weekends, and to stay fit and happy. "Researchers already know that any kind of physical activity blunts the risk of breast cancer," says Harvard Health. "But an American Cancer Society study that zeroed in on walking found that women who walked seven or more hours a week had a 14% lower risk of breast cancer than those who walked three hours or fewer per week."

Fitness Is Her Therapy

Veitch works out not only for fitness but as a way to relieve stress. "No matter what's going on in your life, fitness is a way to clear your mind," she says. "I work out when I'm angry, sad or happy – it's my therapy. From my experience it is a massive benefit to my mental health. Women health shows me that women can be powerful and strong minded and strong willed. We can achieve what we want. When starting out, all you have to do is believe in yourself that you CAN stay consistent to PUSH yourself into becoming a stronger person."

Pressure From Fame

Veitch admits she has felt pressure in front of the reality TV cameras. "Sometimes, I feel like people hate me, or that I'm doing something wrong on social media, because people aren't interacting with me," she says. "It's that constant pressure, 'How do I stay relevant? How do I get these people to like me?' You start changing yourself, because you're like, 'Well, maybe I need to change. Am I pretty enough? Do I need filler?' I went through a stage of losing myself."

5

Basic Beauty Care

Veitch invests in a few choice skin and hair care products and keeps her look low-key. "I don't use expensive products!" she says. "I use a moisturizer by BOBBY BROWN – it's a vitamin enriched cream and it smells like lemon. It's £50 but it lasts forever. I use it after I wash my face and it gives you that glow when you don't want to wear makeup. So saves you money on makeup. My only hair products I use to help are Coco and Eve hair masks. And I always use hair protectors before I put any heat on my hair. Normal basic ones from the store are good!"
