Teigen revealed that she had decided to get sober at the end of 2020, and has been open about her journey ever since. In September, Teigen revealed on Instagram that she is “50 days sober.” She wrote, “It should be nearly a year but I had a few (wine) hiccups in the road. this is my longest streak yet! I still dunno if I’ll never drink again but I do know it no longer serves me in ANY way. I don’t get more fun, I don’t dance, I don’t get relaxed. I get sick, fall asleep and wake up sick, having missed what was probably a fun night. I had my fun with it and appreciate anyone that can enjoy it responsibly!!!!” She added this week, also referencing a scandal in which she was accused of cyberbullying someone: "I'm actually a hundred days sober today and I'm so excited," Teigen told Hoda Kotb. "I feel so good, I feel very clearheaded. I feel like I've done the work and I just hope these people can forgive and be able to welcome the fact that hopefully, they've seen me be better."

Teigen spent many years as a model, which meant dealing with beauty standards and keeping a certain weight. However, she revealed to People that she’s no longer dieting. "I've lived a whole life. I've spent way too many years counting calories, scheduling way too many workouts and trying to figure out what my term for wellness was for myself," she says. "I've been trying to figure that out for so so long."
3. She Makes Time For Self-Care
Teigen tells People that she’s making time for wellness and self-care, and that she is doing things that she never thought she’d do. "I will say I indulge in some things I thought were maybe cuckoo before. I do appreciate a good sound bath and I'm learning to meditate," Teigen says. She jokes that she isn’t great at meditation “because I really think so, so much."
4. She Stays Active

Teigen says that she tries to get moving as often as she possibly can. She says to People, "I do love yoga and pilates now but the balance in it is really nice because it's nice to be able to kill two birds by playing with my kids and getting that activity in honestly. To me that's more fun.”
5. She Doesn’t Stress About Her Weight
Teigan tells Women’s Health that she no longer stresses about her body or her weight, and she no longer sets goals for how much weight she wants to lose. “Since I was 20 years old, I had this weight in my mind that I am, or that I’m supposed to be. I’ve been so used to that number for 10 years now. And then I started realizing it was a swimsuit-model weight. There’s a very big difference between wanting to be that kind of fit and wanting to be happy-fit.”
