1. She Deals with Mental Health Issues

Facing her mental health issues straight on helps keep Christina on track. “I experienced a lot of trauma in my childhood—I've spoken very openly about it,” she said in an April 2021 interview with Health. “But I think that was just part of my path. I've definitely had struggles in the past with depression and anxiety—it's a constant battle to overcome a mind that is anxious, a mind that is always second-guessing.”

2. She Isn’t Focused On Being Skinny

“I think we all have our good days and our bad days in how we feel about ourselves. Entering this business, I hated being super skinny,” Christina recently confessed. “Once I turned 21, I started filling out a little bit, and I was loving my new curves. I appreciated having a booty. I've always said that women are way more interesting to look at than men! I have a hard time looking at the early pictures of myself because I remember feeling so insecure. I would never want to relive my 20s—you're so in your own head and finding your confidence. As you age, you stop comparing yourself to other people and start appreciating your own body and owning it.”

3. She Works On Herself

“I'm proud of my honesty. It's a really hard thing to stick to in this business, especially when you've grown up under a microscope at a time when society was very critical of young women. I've had to work through a lot of insecurities in front of everybody,” Christina explained. “Every setback has catapulted me forward. I think that's my fighting spirit. And, at the end of the day, living that truth and being honest has always propelled me forward.”

4. She Does Yoga

Christina focuses on “grounding and centering” like writing and spending time in nature. “Also, getting outside helps—even if it's just my backyard. Feeling grass under my feet and looking at trees and clouds helps,” she told Health. “Yoga has also been instrumental in helping me.”

5. She Reportedly Likes a Colorful Diet

While Christina rarely discusses her diet, according to Cosmopolitan she was once following the rainbow diet, which promotes eating foods of a single color on each day of the week. For instance, on Monday she would eat white, followed by red, green, orange, purple, yellow, etc.

Camila,Cabello,At,The,Kiis,Fm's,Jingle,Ball,2019,HeldShutterstock

Camila Cabello was a coach on the show’s 22nd season. She talked about her desire to support causes to Bustle. “I think that in our culture, so many things are designed to distract us from the truth. Whether it’s in podcasts, or books that I read, or shows that I watch, [there are really inspiring] people that I look up to and remind me of that distraction. It’s a more fulfilling life when you don’t look away, and it really makes you happier to know that you did your best to make some kind of positive change.”

3. Miley Cyrus

Miley,Cyrus,At,The,10th,Annual,Lacma,Art+film,Gala,PresentedShutterstock

Miley Cyrus was a coach on two seasons of the show. She talked about her skincare routine to Harper’s Bazaar. “My skin cleared up the more I cleaned out my products and kept it minimal and essential,” she says. “There is nothing sexier than someone being in their honest feelings. So I nurture myself as a human and that radiates through my skin and invites people in to do the same when we’re together, which depends connection.”

4. Gwen Stefani

Gwen,Stefani,At,The,48th,Annual,Afi,Life,Achievement,AwardShutterstock

5. Alicia Keys

Alicia,Keys,At,The,2019,Billboard,Women,In,Music,HeldShutterstock

Alicia Keys appeared as a coach on three seasons of the show. She talked about finding her skincare routine to Vogue. “I’ve always cared about skincare, but in a way that was very frustrating because I didn’t always have good skin. I’ve learned some of the secrets and I’ve also found some of the products that work for me - because everybody is different. You’ve gotta keep trying and find what’s good for you.”

6. Kelly Clarkson

Los,Angeles,-,May,9:,Kelly,Clarkson,At,The,AmericanShutterstock

Kelly Clarkson has been a coach on nine seasons of the show. She tells People that she is a big believer in not caring what others think of her. “I just don’t care about things I feel like people put a lot of weight and gravity in,” she said. “I do thank my upbringing for that. I just, I care about things that I feel like are important. So my beauty mantra is just to be a beautiful, kind, nice and thoughtful [person].”

7. Jennifer Hudson

New,York,,Ny,-,June,12,,2022:,Jennifer,Hudson,WearingShutterstock

Jennifer Hudson was a coach on two seasons of the show. She shared with Allure that she uses a lot of Olay skincare products. “What I love about it is the consistency it gives me. And again, it's a common denominator for me. I go through so many different products. I have so many different productions to do, so many different makeup artists. So to have Olay retinol, one consistent thing that I can do myself, that creates balance for me.”

8. John Legend

Los,Angeles,-,Nov,09:,John,Legend,singer,musicianShutterstock

John Legend joined in the show’s 16th season. He talked about his meals to GQ. “Lunch, I usually have a tuna niçoise salad or something like that. I eat something very similar every day. And for dinner it's varied, though—it's more like an event. I don't like to eat the same thing every day for dinner. It's usually some kind of meat and vegetable, and hopefully something fun.”

Kelsea Ballerini has been a coach on two seasons. She talked about her fitness routine with Shape Magazine. "I've worked out with my trainer, Erin Oprea, for five years. We're on Zoom three days a week and do a lot of strength training intervals, where you alternate two exercises until you've burned that muscle group, then move on. We cram it all into 45 minutes and call it a day. It's been really good for me in understanding that exercise isn't necessarily for the way I look; it's also about the way I feel.”

10. Niall Horan

London,,United,Kingdom-,February,18,,2020:,Niall,Horan,Attends,TheShutterstock

1. Cindy Crawford

London,,Uk.,December,10,,2018:,Cindy,Crawford,At,The,FashionSutterstock

Cindy Crawford shared her daily diet with Into The Gloss. “I usually have a protein shake for breakfast because it’s fast — I need to get the kids out the door. For lunch I’ll have salad, sometimes with chicken, sometimes without. For dinner we’ll go for sushi, or if we eat at home, I’ll try to make a meal like turkey meatballs with pasta, a salad, and a vegetable.”

2. Kate Moss

London,,United,Kingdom,-,December,10,,2018:,Kate,Moss,AttendsShutterstock

Kate Moss shared her diet in an interview with The Guardian. “Food is really important. I try to eat healthily. And I do cook, but not as much as I’d like to because I’m busy, but I cook a good roast. I do good breakfasts – eggs are my forte. I really enjoy food, proper food, but I do try to eat more healthily than I used to. I think as you get older you have to. When I was young I was so low maintenance I didn’t have to worry. Not what I ate, not about anything really. My skin looks better when I eat well, too. Obviously if you eat all that grease, skin just doesn’t look as healthy. I’ve really noticed an improvement since I’ve been more ‘on it’ with food – like eating salads and all that stuff – I never used to really eat salads. And now I’m like, juicing!”

3. Christy Turlington

Los,Angeles,-,Dec,11:,Christy,Turlington,Burns,Arrives,ToShutterstock

Christy Turlington doesn’t like to have a strict wellness routine. “Sometimes I run at the end of the day versus the morning only because I'm not really a morning person,” she tells SELF. “In the summer when it was super hot, I would just wait until the end of the day to exercise and that was a nice break to transition to the next part of the evening. Then I would come back and make dinner and be able to be present and not be carrying my workday or other anxieties into the evening.”

4. Claudia Schiffer

London,,Uk.,May,20,,2019:,Claudia,Schiffer,Arriving,For,TheShutterstock

Claudia Schiffer not only makes sure to eat healthy, she also eats local produce. She shared her favorite meals with Net-A-Porter. “I start my day with quinoa, pineapple, almond slithers and fresh almond milk with dates in it. Lunch usually consists of vegetables and a small amount of turkey, chicken or fish, and it’s the same for dinner. Snacks are sheep’s or goat’s yogurt with banana, chia seeds and flax seeds, and treats are always chocolate, a great red wine or my favorite Leoube rosé. I also love the traditional old-fashioned German stews that my mother used to cook for me, which I now have when I’m with my siblings in Hamburg.”

5. Tyra Banks

Los,Angeles,-,Aug,14:,Tyra,Banks,Arrives,To,The'america'sShutterstock

Tyra Banks has amazing skin. She shared one of her biggest secrets with TODAY. “Exfoliation was a big deal in our household. Nothing fancy, just a washcloth and using it twice a day. In the morning and at night. A wet washcloth with the same soap that didn’t dry you out.”

6. Elle MacPherson

Melbourne,,Australia,-,November,3:,Elle,Macpherson,Arrives,At,DerbyShutterstock

Elle MacPherson shared her wellness approach with Harper’s Bazaar. “I believe in maintenance, I’m not a big binge and purge person,” she says. “I think it’s really important to maintain wellness year-round. Not because it looks good but it actually feels good – which is really important when you’re running a business and you’ve got kids and a full life. It’s easy – I just make good choices and I enjoy the choices that I make. I really enjoy a plant-based diet, I love vegetables.”

7. Alicia Silverstone

Los,Angeles,-,Mar,17:,Alicia,Silverstone,Arrives,For,TheShutterstock

Alicia Silverstone is a salad lover. She shared a favorite of hers in an interview with Bustle. I’m quite a professional salad maker. I always drizzle lemon or an orange, olive oil, and flaxseed oil, because it makes it buttery. Then umeboshi plum vinegar. Sometimes it’s nice to put some kimchi on the side, and I really love the combination of red onions and raisins. I also love cilantro, so lots of that.”

8. Naomi Campbell

May,2,,2016,-,New,York,,New,York,,Usa,-Shutterstock

Naomi Campbell has amazing skin, and we are lucky that she’s shared her tips in interviews. “I cleanse and scrub every day,” she said in one. “I take off makeup every night. Hydration, for me, is the most important thing. I like my skin to look greasy and oily. I’m constantly moisturizing—masks, face masks, creamy masks, paper masks. When you’re under the lights, the makeup goes really deep into the pores. When I’m not working, I try not to wear makeup at all. I like to just have clean skin.”

9. Mariah Carey

Las,Vegas,-,May,17:,Mariah,Carey,At,The,2015Shutterstock

Mariah Carey is quite the interesting figure. And she tells The Guardian that she doesn’t care what others think of her, and she wants to put out what she wants. “I don’t know and I don’t want to know. If I looked at every single thing people say about me I couldn’t exist as me, so I’d rather just see certain things.”

10. Tara Reid

Shutterstock

Tara Reid isn’t afraid to stand up for herself. After being body shamed on social media, she hot back on Instagram. “Stop hating, start loving,” she wrote. “No one needs to be body shaming. 11. Jenny McCarthy

Los,Angeles,-,Aug,02:,Jenny,Mccarthy,Arrives,To,TheShutterstock

Jenny McCarthy talked about her approach to fitness with UsWeekly. “[It’s] 100 percent not about the weight,” she said. “In fact, I don’t even own a scale. I haven’t owned a scale since my 20s because muscle weighs more than fat. It was about targeting a certain area.”

12. Carmen Electra

Los,Angeles,-,Feb,17:,Carmen,Electra,At,The,2019Shutterstock

Carmen Electra tells Byrdie that she loves to get oxygen facials. “For the past twenty years, my daily three-step skin routine has allowed me to maintain healthy, glowing, and surgery-free skin," Electra said. "When I get an oxygen facial, I feel 10 years younger. The oxygen gets underneath the skin and into the pores, which helps my skin look amazing. That’s why I love it."

13. Gwen Stefani

MontÈ,Carlo,,Principality,Of,Monaco,September,,26,,2019.,Gwen,StefaniShutterstock

In addition to being a singer, Gwen Stefani is a fashion and beauty icon. Last year, she launched her makeup line, GXVE in Anaheim. Stefani talked about why she wanted to start this at the launch. "The thing is, is that I don't know why I didn't do this sooner, but I don't think I knew that it was even a thing that you could do back in those times. Like in the '90s, we did music. And we did that for nine years before we were on the radio. Like we were never trying to do anything. We were just being who we were."

14. Jim Carrey

Los,Angeles,,Ca,-,June,12,,2011:,Jim,Carrey,AtShutterstock

Jim Carrey talked about some realizations he’s had with The Talks. “I guess just getting to the place where you have everything everybody has ever desired and realizing you are still unhappy. And that you can still be unhappy is a shock when you have accomplished everything you ever dreamt of and more and then you realize, ‘My gosh, it’s not about this.’ And I wish for everyone to be able to accomplish those things so they can see that.”

15. Gerri Halliwell

Virgin Voyages Scarlet Night PartyDave Benett/Getty Images

Ahead of her 50th birthday last year, Gerri Halliwell talked about it in an interview with Amazing Magazine. “Rather than saying I am 50, I’m saying I get to be 50,” she says. “I’ve got half a century under my belt! I thought if I am going to champion the evolution of what I’ve always stood for – and that’s empowering others, whoever you are, and being yourself – actually, another boundary to break is to say, ‘It’s alright, it’s more than alright, it’s amazing [to be 50].’ I think sometimes we can look at the future with fear, but it’s the opposite.”

16. Jennifer Love Hewitt

Los,Angeles,-,Aug,02:,Jennifer,Love,Hewitt,Arrives,ToShutterstock

In a 2013 interview with OK!, Jennifer Love Hewitt talked about her workout routine. “I try to switch it up a bit. I’ve found that if every week I do something different it tricks my muscles into not getting used to doing any one thing. I’ve been doing pilates, I’ve been doing yoga, I’ve done just plain old walking. I wear 10 pound weights on my ankles while I’m working just so that as I’m moving during the day I’m constantly building muscle. It’s not great for your back but I’m doing it anyway. I do a booty workout thing that I just did for Shape, which was really fun. And I do Zumba. I have DVDs and I dance around like a crazy person in my house.”

17. Tia Carerre

Los,Angeles,-,Jan,6:,Tia,Carerre,Arrives,At,TheShutterstock

In an interview with Yahoo Life, Tia Carerre talked about the changes she’s seen in the industry since her career began. "I'm just grateful that things are different now for women," she explains. And that has made a huge difference, female showrunners and producers and writers."

Los,Angeles,-,Feb,19:,Joey,Mcintyre,At,The,OscarShutterstock

I don’t want to make myself sound like a jerk, and I’m not, but basically, if they sense that I’m trying to brush it off, they’re like, ‘Not cool.’ But I’m always flattered. I’m very lucky to do what I do, and to have the fans I have, and at this point, we’re older, so it’s not so crazy.”

19. Pamela Anderson

Los,Angeles,-,Jun,7:,Pamela,Anderson,At,The,PetaShutterstock

Abfab at 54, Nicole Kidman flaunted her svelte figure and rock hard midsection in a cutout gown. In addition to exercise, her secret to health is eating what she wants...in moderation. "I'm just not someone that believes in denial," she explained to Women's Health, about her 80/20 approach to diet.

2. Carrie Underwood

55th Annual CMA Awards - ArrivalsJason Kempin/Getty Images

Carrie Underwood flashed major leg in a high slit, metallic tinsel gown. One of the country star’s stay-fit secrets? She switches her workouts up by the season. "I want to listen to my body and do what I'm in the mood for. On different days, that means different things. I'm a bit of a seasonal workout person. If you think about it, in the winter, we're all bundled up, and we all want to be warm, comfortable, there are a lot of holidays,” she told Shape. “So, I'll lift more and do less cardio then and make use of all those extra holiday food calories and build some muscle. In the summer, I want to feel lighter. I want to run and sweat, so I use the temperature and that feeling to lean up a bit and do more outdoor cardio things."

3. Miranda Lambert

55th Annual CMA Awards - ArrivalsJason Kempin/Getty Images

Miranda Lambert opted for a simple but sleek black Versace cocktail dress. The singer maintains that ditching diets helped her get into the best shape of her life in 2014. "You get tired of any diet. I've tried everything," she told Women’s Health. "I just literally would make grilled chicken breast, sweet potato salad. There was no miracle." Instead, started eating more veggies, discovered cardio exercises she actually liked, and sought fitspiration by none other than Britney Spears.

4. Kelsea Ballerini

55th Annual CMA Awards - ArrivalsJason Kempin/Getty Images

Kelsea Ballerini also rocked a leggy look, opting for a white, sleeved Valdrin Sahiti gown slit to her waist. “I've always been an 80/20 person as far as food and drinking. I try to do what's good for me 80 percent of the time. The other 20 percent of the time, I just enjoy my life,” she told Shape about her diet. “I run through the McDonald's drive-through once a month, and it's fine. Sometimes I'll have a little too much wine, and that's OK too. I've spent so much of my life feeling guilty for things that I eat or having an unhealthy relationship with food or the gym or whatever. So I just try to be nice to myself and do what's good for me. And when I don't, I start again the next day."

5. Maren Morris

55th Annual CMA Awards - ArrivalsJohn Shearer/Getty Images for CMA

Maren Morris’ flat abs were on display in her white tuxedo jacket, which she wore without a shirt underneath. The singer trains with Erin Oprea (who is also responsible for Underwood’s fit figure!) Her workouts start with jumping rope before strength training movies, such as front and side planks, pushups, squats, lunges, and combinations. “Squat lunges are the worst,” she told Women’s Health. “They’re so hard because that’s the area I need it most—my thighs and butt.” She moves to the BOSU ball and does crunches and core work, then lifts free weights for arm strength.

6. Katy Perry

55th Annual CMA Awards - ArrivalsJohn Shearer/Getty Images for CMA

Katy Perry flaunted her tiny waist in a brown leather Vivienne Westwood strapless gown. The mother-of-one claims she eats healthy...most of the time. Most stars maintain they follow an 80/20 diet, her approach is more lax. “Let’s be honest,” she told Prevention, “it’s 60/40.”

7. Jennifer Hudson

55th Annual CMA Awards - ArrivalsJohn Shearer/Getty Images for CMA

Jennifer Hudson’s strong arms were the center of attention with her lace bustier and silky skirt look. Healthy eating is what keeps the singer in great shape. "I don't really have time to do much [working out], so I really just watch what I eat," she told Good Housekeeping. "I'm very careful and cautious of what I'm eating, so I just try to pace those meals throughout the day. I'm very conscious of what I put in my body."

But you just can't keep that up," Rita told Shape. "With the plan I'm on, you can eat quite a bit as long as you exercise." She starts her day off with two boiled eggs, asparagus, and half a cup of muesli with almond milk. "For lunch, I have chicken or fish with vegetables, and for dinner, I have six to eight ounces of fish with vegetables and half a potato. Plus snacks," she revealed. One thing she doesn't eat? Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

Tammy Hebrew has a banana snack.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying bananas in her “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”

She Loves Cottage Cheese

Hembrow is seen enjoying her bananas with cottage cheese in the previous Instagram video. Cottage cheese is very healthy.
