Cindy Crawford and her daughter Kaia Gerber are mommy-and-me supermodels! The 55-year-old icon shared an intimate moment with her daughter on Thursday, sharing an image of the duo sipping coffee in their bathrobes prior to an Omega press event in San Francisco. In the image, the genetically blessed duo flashed their famous legs and megawatt smiles. “SF with my girl,” Crawford captioned it. What are some of the ways both Gerber gals prioritize health and wellness? Read on to see 7 ways Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber stay in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. Cindy Works Out Three Times a Week

Daily workouts aren’t essential for Cindy. “I work out with my trainer, Sarah Hagaman, three mornings a week,” she told Shape. “We do circuit training for the whole body using weights, some machines, and my own body weight with lunges and squats. We usually do about 10 minutes of weights and then a five-minute cardio segment. Right now we are into running stairs, but we switch it up. We repeat the 10-minute weight and five-minute cardio at least three times and then we finish up with abs and stretching. If I can squeeze in a hike or bike ride with my husband or a girlfriend during the week, that's just a bonus!”

2. Kaia Works Out at The Dogpound

Kaia gets her sweat on at the celebrity endorsed gym, The Dogpound. In a March 2021 post by the gym, the model enjoys a sweat session with Bachelor contestant Kit Keenan, who hold hands while executing a series of knee raises and arabesques while holding kettlebells and balancing on yoga hemisphere balls. Gliding side lunges, side plank crunches, walking squats with resistance bands around thighs and feet, forward and backward jumps using resistance bands, crunches and leg lifts on hemisphere balls, and leg lifts and extensions done while wearing ankle weights are a few of the other moves the duo complete during the grueling session.

3. Cindy Takes Workout Classes

Cindy is into group fitness and takes S Factor pole dancing studio in LA. "[It's] so much fun to do with a group of friends," she told InStyle. "They keep it really dark, so it's almost impossible to feel embarrassed." Hiking is also an active pastime of hers. "Once a week, I try to go on a hike with a friend so I combine exercise and girlfriend time—it's the best multitasking," she added to The Cut.

4. Kaia Loves Carbs

In a 2018 interview with Harper's Bazaar, Kaia revealed that her diet involves a lot of carbs and guilty pleasures. “I'm passionate about breakfast. I wake up hungry, so I always eat a bagel," she said. Some of her other favorite foods include steak tacos, banana splits, and pasta. "I don't go a day without eating pasta. Penne with vodka sauce is my all-time favorite and is actually one of the things I know how to prepare myself.”

5. Cindy Avoids Processed Foods

Cindy eats primarily whole foods. "Diet-wise, I don't eat crap, and I don't eat a lot of packaged foods," she told Into The Gloss. "On a typical weekday I usually have a protein shake for breakfast because it's fast—I need to get the kids out the door… For lunch I'll have salad, sometimes with chicken, sometimes without. For dinner we'll go for sushi, or if we eat at home I'll try to make a meal like turkey meatballs with pasta, a salad, and a vegetable."

6. Kaia Maintains Balance

Kaia’s approach to health is all about balance.. "Staying in shape is definitely something I think about, but I don't let it get in the way. I'm active, but I'm not just going to wake up and go to the gym and not eat pizza. If there's pizza or if there's ice cream, I'm going to eat it," she told Byrdie in 2019.

7. Cindy Prioritizes Hydration

Cindy drinks a ton of water. “I also drink three bottles of water during the day, except for when I’m on location, as the bathroom could be 10 minutes away,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. Green tea, green tea lattes, and a shake she makes at home with a cup of almond milk, a cup of spinach, a handful of fresh mint, two scoops of Billy Merritt’s Infinity Greens, and protein powder, are also drinks-of-choice.

8. Kaia Makes Sure to Get Enough Sleep

6th Annual InStyle Awards - ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

With her busy work and travel schedule, Kaia makes sure to get enough rest and also self-care time. "Sleep is very important when you’re traveling a lot to get your body clock on the time zone that you’re in. I also like to spend time with my family. I don’t want the distance to create space in the relationships that I have, so I try to keep in touch with them,” she told Byrdie.

Cindy Crawford is a pop culture phenomenon. She’s one of the most successful models of all time, with notable appearances in soda ads and George Michael’s music video. Crawford still looks the same as she did when she first started working, and a recent Instagram photo proves it. In it, she posed in a navy bathing suit and a white coat, with her abs on display. She captioned the post, “Apres swim.” Read on to see 5 ways Cindy Crawford stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Goes Outside

Crawford revealed some of her wellness secrets to Byrdie. She says that she starts her wellness routine first thing in the morning. Crawford loves to spend time outside, and does so each morning. “I begin almost every day by taking a dip in the jacuzzi outside. It really helps me start my day with gratitude and feeling connected to nature.”

2. She Meditates

Another part of Crawford’s wellness routine is practicing meditation. She tells Byrdie that this is something she recently picked up. “I also was able to develop a more consistent meditation practice during the past year. My favorite time to meditate is midafternoon. I love just quieting my mind and also taking time to do a little reset midday—especially if we have anything going on that evening.”

3. She Exfoliates Her Skin

Crawford has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. She tells New Beauty, “I’m a big believer in exfoliating my body, and I have more than one way to do it. I love the Elemis Dry Brush. If I forget or I am rushed, I use my antibacterial plastic pink shower mitt with body wash, usually Dermalogica—it’s the body wash my husband and I both agree on. I use that most of the time, but I do like bar soap, too. The one I use when I’m going to shave my legs is Bulgari Au Thé Blanc . I also love the Arianna Ultra Exfoliating Body Treatment. I was walking down Prince Street in NYC one day and happened upon a small store. I went in and the salesperson let me sample it on my hand. I loved it and bought three! I apply it on dry skin and give myself a good scrub before I turn the shower on. I love the size of the dead sea salt scrub, and it smells delicious.”

4. She Takes Care Of Her Hair

Crawford also has amazing hair, which she also takes care of. She tells New Beauty, “Even though I used to think I had to wash my hair every day, as I’ve gotten older, I try to go longer between washes. Usually it’s about every three days, so sometimes I have to plan my workouts accordingly!"

5. She Still Indulges

Two,Pieces,Of,Broken,Chocolate.,One,Piece,More,Than,Another.Shutterstock

Crawford tells Allure that she eats pretty healthy, but she still has her favorite small indulgences from time to time. “I always have a small piece of dark chocolate — it tells my body that I'm done with my meal. In my experience, if you're craving something and deny yourself, you wind up eating five other things, and then you eat the thing you're craving anyway.”

I didn’t starve myself, but I was so strict.” She went in after a month for her final fitting, and the dress fit like a glove. “I wanted to cry tears of joy when it went up.”

Kendall Jenner showed off her supermodel body in a sheer topped Prada gown. Unsurprisingly, her diet is extremely healthy. "I typically eat lean chicken and brown rice, and am always snacking on raw veggies with dip and hummus. I wish I had more time to do grocery shopping because I like picking out my own vegetables,” she dished to Harper's Bazaar. Her one cheat food? Fritos Chili Cheese. “Ever since I was a kid [they’re] the only chips that I truly love and will eat all the time. They’re really bomb,” she told People.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Pilates

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.

She’s Consistent

Last year, Culpo was preparing for her wedding. She told E! News that she made sure to be consistent with her wellness in order to prepare. “Really trying to dial in [on] what I eat, how I workout, the workouts that I do. Trying to get them in consistently because you only get married once and I want to feel my best. But this past season it was just hard being so far away from my normal routine and where I typically live."

She Keeps Her Skin Healthy While Traveling

Culpo has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it, even while traveling. “I don't wear any makeup when traveling," she says to Travel + Leisure. "That's one rule because I do feel like you will have a higher chance of breaking out if you are wearing a full face of makeup. A few things I always have with me is some sort of a spray. I love Dr. Barbara Sturm or Caudalie or La Mer. I also absolutely love traveling with a makeup wipe, the Neutrogena wipes are great. Something to just take off the sweat you build up.”

She Keeps Her Skincare Simple

Culpo shared her skincare routines with Byrdie. She says that she keeps her morning and night routine simple. “I am always trying out new products, so what I gravitate toward is often changing. At night, I usually use an oil and a serum. Right now, I love the Clarins Double Serum. In the morning, I use a Vitamin C serum and an SPF, and, typically, I just rinse my skin with warm water instead of using a cleanser. It is something I swear by—it allows for the oils on my skin from sleeping to absorb naturally.”

She Uses Products With Vitamins

Culpo shared some of her favorite skincare products with Byrdie. She says that she uses ones that have vitamins in them. “I have noticed a huge difference in my skin with vitamin C and E. I love the Good Janes H2OMyGod Moisturizer—it's sort of an all-in-one moisturizer that has vitamin C and collagen peptides. As for vitamin E, I actually just purchase the oil from the drugstore. It is super cheap and great to put on any red marks I may get from an occasional breakout. The healing process is so much quicker when I am using Vitamin E oil.”

She Packs Healthy Snacks

Culpo makes sure to eat healthy. She shared some of the snacks she packs with her with Travel + Leisure. "I love the Kind bars. I love any sort of nuts, to be honest with you. They are a go-to snack for me. I would say Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% and some almonds would be perfect! Also, electrolytes to stay hydrated or some sort of collagen beauty powder or something."

Abigail Ratchford’s amazing body has helped her become one of the most famous models on the internet. The 32-year-old, who boasts over 9.1 million followers on Instagram alone, attributes her measurement-defying body to a few simple habits. Here is everything she does to stay fit at 32.

She Follows 4 Diet Rules

Abigail swears that abiding by simple rules helps her stay in shape. “I can’t diet. That just doesn’t work for me,” she told New Beauty. “I started to be healthier by first cutting out soda. Then, I stopped eating after 7 p.m. Finally, I started really watching my portions so I was eating fewer calories every day. And water—lots and lots of water.”

She UsesMyFitnessPal

Abigail explains being accountable for what she eats is crucial. While it’s not “rocket science,” she does use the MyFitnessPal app to track her eating. “I’m the type of person who likes to eat what I want. The app can help anyone do that—you can still eat great food, you just eat less of it,” she added New Beauty.

Pilates

Abigail is a fan of Pilates. “Group workout classes are so big right now, but I always get nervous around other people in settings like that. I have to go at my own pace without a bunch of distractions so, for me, Pilates with a one-on-one instructor works best. It’s not cheap, but then you also aren’t tempted to skip,” she said She added to Men’s Fitness via Muscle & Fitness that the workout “keeps you long and lean” — and the Mayo Clinic agrees. They say it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Balanced Diet

“I love green juices and smoothies. Sometimes I’ll put some protein powder in the morning—I feel like the mix of vegetables, and vitamins and stuff that’s in them, really gives me a lot of energy in the morning. I love BBQ food—my ultimate cheat is a pulled pork sandwich, sweet potato fries, and macaroni and cheese from this great place in LA,” she told Men’s Fitness.

Strength Training

Ratchford also lifts weights. “Initially, I made the mistake that a lot of girls do and I was only doing cardio. I just really didn’t see too much change in my body. I’ve been listening to my girlfriends who are in great shape and they say you have to do weight training, you have to go in and do squats. That’s my new thing—I’ve been doing some resistance training, circuit training,” she told Men’s Fitness. The Mayo Clinic explains that strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

Develop strong bones

Manage your weight

Enhance your quality of life

Manage chronic conditions

Sharpen your thinking skills
