Even on days where she doesn’t workout, Prado likes to get some movement in. “However, my rest days are always active. For example, shooting at the beach, walks, dance classes, etc.”

She says that while she eats healthy, she also still indulges. “I try to stick to my custom meal plan from @pradoprogram,” she says. “But if I ever feel like indulging, I let myself do it. I train hard and like to enjoy myself. I’ll usually just compensate the heavy meal for a lighter one the next day to stay on track.”

3. She Horseback Rides

Prado does a lot of things to stay in shape. One thing she enjoys doing is riding horses. She shared these photos on Instagram of herself riding on the beach. Cindy recently opened up about her depression, which she has been dealing with for four years, to Sports Illustrated. “Mental health problems can feel very isolating,” she said. “I know for a fact that when I am having an episode, it really feels like it’s just me that's feeling that way—like I’m either broken or unlike the people around me. So I try to be open about it because I hope someone out there might identify with it and realize they’re not alone.”

Cindy is a big fan of journaling. “I try to keep myself mostly in the same routine, so I usually journal every morning and I like to say my affirmations. Especially when you’re doing something as vulnerable as a swimsuit shoot, I write my affirmations and I make sure that I remind myself that my body is not what everyone else wants it to be and that it’s a blessing that I have a body that takes care of me and allows me to experience life. Just reminding myself to be thankful in every way and just accepting myself in whatever way I am is probably the one thing that I feel is the most important in order to prepare for something like this,” she told Nylon.

Cindy, an Alo Yoga fan, loves to dance, which helps build strength and promote flexibility, and helps you lose weight. And, according to a 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine , it also promotes heart health. People who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop heart disease or die from it than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues.

4. She Paddleboards

Cindy enjoys paddleboarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and also a great form of cardio. The water sport can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140 pound male and 436 for a female the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

5. She Paints

Cindy has a relaxing hobby. “I usually like to finish paintings in a few days, so if I start one I’ll spend my whole day, or maybe even the week doing that. I’ve been painting since I was very young. I started because my mom would draw these little characters when she would tell me bedtime stories, and I would always want to recreate them,” she told GQ.

Last year, Malik gave fans a look at her workout routine in an Instagram video, where she powered through hanging crunches, lunges, and weightlifting sessions. She Lifts Weights

Malik captioned it, “Got some major work to do before my next session.” Asphalt Green says that pull-ups have a lot of benefits. “Pull-ups are a fantastic way to improve upper-body strength. This exercise primarily targets your back and biceps, but involves many stabilizing muscles in your core, arms, and shoulders. Depending on the way you grip the bar, you can even work your chest. Plus, you don’t need any fancy equipment to do a pull-up. Tree branches, scaffolding, and even door frames are all places people can do pull-ups.”

Golf is obviously one of the ways that Malik keeps herself in shape. Better Health says that the sport has a lot of benefits. “Golf can be good for your health and your heart. Walking an average course for a round of golf can be between five to seven kilometres. If you walk 18 holes three to five times a week, you’ll get an optimal amount of endurance exercise for your heart. If you pull your clubs or carry them, you’ll burn even more calories each round and benefit even more.”
