Read on to see 5 ways CJ Perry stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Uses Workout Apps

Perry talked about her wellness, health, and fitness secrets in an interview with Women Fitness. She says that she likes to use different workout apps to help keep herself in shape. Perry does have one app in particular that she uses a lot. “Right now, I downloaded the app Workouts by Katya and I have been doing her 8 week booty workout. It is 5 days of week for 30-45 minutes. I love it.”

2. She Does Cardio 4 Times A Week

An important part of Perry’s fitness routine is cardio. She tells Women Fitness that she does cardio exercises multiple days a week, as they both help keep her body in shape and with her wrestling career. “I also do 4 days a week cardio for 45 minutes – 60 minutes. I feel the cardio always breaks up any soreness from wrestling; it keeps the body super toned as well and helps my stamina and endurance for matches. If people are trying to quickly drop weight, tone up or just feel more in shape, I would advise doing 45 minutes of cardio 3-4 times a week.”

3. She Allows Herself To Have Cravings

Perry does eat healthy, but she also isn’t afraid to indulge. She tells Women Fitness that she allows herself to give into her cravings, as they help with her health. “If I want to have something sweet, I eat something sweet. I try to always eat healthy, but if I’m craving something, then I eat it. Tomorrow is a new day where I can start fresh again. I struggled a lot with eating disorders in high school, so I have to set boundaries for myself so I don’t trigger bad habits.”

4. She Knows The Limits Of Her Hair

Perry has incredible hair, and she makes sure to take care of it. She tells Women Fitness that she knows what works for her hair, specifically what it can’t handle. “The key to gorgeous hair is to know the limits for your hair. I have melted my hair off 3 different times and I have had every type of extension and they all ripped my hair out, except for clip-ins and sew in weave. Now, I wear wigs if I want to do platinum or crazy cool colours. My hair is thick and healthy again because I have just been letting it grow. I know we don’t want to hear this but the secret to having great hair is to not change the color every other week, don’t use a lot of heat and be patient.”

5. She Drinks Protein Shakes

Perry makes sure to eat healthy, and she incorporates a lot of protein into her daily diet. She says that she likes to drink protein shakes, and drinks them before bed when she feels like she doesn’t have enough. "If I feel like I've lacked in protein, I'll have a shake before bed," she tells Women’s Health. "I definitely notice a big difference when I do it. When I'm adding the extra protein and I work really hard, I get more muscle."

2. This is What She Eats

“I eat 3 eggs in the morning with oatmeal and avocado toast, grilled fish and rice for lunch and usually fish, or meat and rice, veggies and a salad for dinner. If I want to have something sweet, I eat something sweet. I try to always eat healthy but if I’m craving something, then I eat it. Tomorrow is a new day where I can start fresh again. I struggled a lot with eating disorders in high school, so I have to set boundaries for myself so I don’t trigger bad habits,” she told Women’s Fitness.

Sometimes, CJ will also have eggs for breakfast—as many as 5 when building muscle. “Most healthy people can eat up to seven eggs a week without increasing their risk of heart disease. Some studies have shown that this level of egg consumption might even help prevent certain types of stroke and a serious eye condition called macular degeneration that can lead to blindness,” says the Mayo Clinic.

4. She Works Out Her Glutes

Perry once shared a workout where she did single leg glute bridges supersetting with arm dumbbell rows, moving on to slide planks with 21 curls. A bridge is a great idea. “Adding it to your morning or evening fitness routine will help strengthen your glutes. It'll also help prevent the common forward pelvic tilt that places stress on your lower back,” says the Mayo Clinic. “You can do it anywhere. In your kitchen, your garage, your hallway. It works your glutes and your hamstrings.”

5. She Uses Dumbbells

Perry has done weighted elevated lunges, just one of many exercises she does that uses dumbbells. “A set of dumbbells and a willingness to use them can work wonders,” says Robert Freed, D.O., an orthopedic surgeon at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, Minnesota, tells the Mayo Clinic.

Madison Bailey, star of the Netflix hit Outer Banks, is back in Charleston, South Carolina, where they film the show. “Back in the city 🌴,” she captioned a series of photos, including a swimsuit pose. The actress—who is from the South, in Kernersville, North Carolina—has been open about both her health struggles and her triumphs. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Madison Bailey stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Surfs

Madison has posted photos of her with surfboards, and called herself a “surfer girl.” One study of surfing found: “The results showed increased cardiovascular and muscular fitness related to surfing, improvement in the mental-wellbeing of ‘at risk’ young adults and veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), significant health benefits for individuals with disabilities, and more positive mood from outdoor vs. indoor exercise.”

2. She Hikes

Madison-BaileyMadison Bailey/Instagram

Madison hikes when in Los Angeles. One recent study showed that time in nature can be great for your brain: “Spending prolonged time in nature may alter neural signatures that relate to the tendency to focus on internal thoughts and increase awareness of the external environment, but fluctuations in neuroelectric signals could be indicative of other potential neural processes. In any event, this research shows evidence that prolonged environmental exposures uniquely influence neuroelectric power during rest.”

3. She is Pansexual

Madison is pansexual. “I've been out since I was 18,” she told Glamour. “The show came out. And then I felt like I had to do some type of coming out, even though it was public knowledge to my friends and my 2,000 followers I had before. But then I was like, I should probably tell all these millions of people how I'm feeling.”

4. She Has Borderline Personality Disorder

“I think my personality disorder affects what I eat for breakfast and when I go to sleep, it affects absolutely everything I do. And I think being pan and having a personality disorder, I have definitely figured out where I fall into all of that because my personality disorder—basically I have a very broad personality. I have a lot of identity crises. I just didn't know what part of it was my sexuality and which part of it was me just feeling different that day,” she told Glamour.

5. Live Authentically, She Advises

6th Annual InStyle Awards - ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

Don't let anybody pressure you to say you are something or you aren't something, don't let anyone tell you you're making a rash decision or why are you making this decision now?Just don't really let anybody interfere with how you're feeling. It is a self-discovery it is a self exploration that you have to do by yourself. Just try not to be scared. That's so much easier said than done, but just try to find a lot of comfort in knowing that you are on your own path to live your own life and you need to make the decisions that are best for you to be happy, to feel like you’re living authentically. There are too many people faking it,” she told Glamour.

Indian actress Kate Sharma is enjoying a magical trip to the island of Koh Samui, Thailand. Sharma shared a reel of herself swimming in a beautiful pool, wearing a bright pink swimsuit and sarong, with palms and blue skies in the background. “Poolside paradise 😍,” she captioned the post. How does she stay so fit? 1. Fresh Lime Soda

Sharma’s go-to drink is fresh lime soda. “Limes are packed with antioxidants and phytonutrients," says Carly Sedlacek RDN, LD. “Limes are low in calories, high in micronutrients and punch above their weight with regard to both water and fiber content. They’re really good for us, but most of us aren’t going to make a snack of them. The juice — without added sugar — is the best we can do.”

2. Running Outside

Sharma loves running outside, especially at the beach. “There’s good evidence that spending time outside can reduce stress, depression levels, and anxiety,” says Josh Lawler, a UW environmental & forest sciences professor. “We suspect that one of the routes for the physical benefits is through [the] decreased stress and anxiety.”

3. She Chooses Happiness

Sharma says she chooses happiness in her personal life. “I don't date much but I have had rough patches in relationships. Ups and down are part of life and moving on is an art of life,” she says. “Break ups were there but that all made me so strong and I am a girl who looks at the broader aspect in life. So pain was there but feeling the pain and being sad is a choice.

So I chose happiness. It took time to heal but today I learned happiness is the most important thing in this world.”

4. Bathing Beauty

Sharma loves to take baths. “Taking a bath has great physical and mental health benefits,” says family medicine provider Amy Zack, MD. “Soaking in a tub is something many people have access to but don’t take advantage of enough. But it can be beneficial for a lot of people.”

5. She Is an Artist

When it comes to her career, Sharma loves the benefits creativity brings to her life. “Artist is an artist, no matter where he/she performs," she says. "It’s always a pack of feelings and entertainment which we have to give to the audience. Films and music videos both tell a story. The only difference is that films are on a larger scale in every form, while music videos take less time but require the same level of consistency and hard work as an artist."

Sailor Brinkley Cook, the model (and daughter of Christie), wore her “dream set” swimsuit over Memorial Day, and hung out with friends. While her fit figure is always an inspiration, Sailor is also a fountain of feel-good advice about how to think about yourself, in a world of judgements and self-criticism. How does she stay so fit and keep a fresh perspective? Read on to see 5 ways Sailor Brinkley Cook stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Reminds You That Tomorrow is Another Day

Sailor-Brinkley-CookSailor Brinkley Cook/Instagram

“Today feels like sunshine and rainbows and all the most beautiful colors. I feel so happy and hopeful. Crazy to think just 2 days ago I was scared and hurting because i was feeling the darkest i’ve felt mentally in a long time. In that moment I didn’t think i’d feel this good again. This is your sign to keep going because tomorrow could be the most beautiful, bright day. The world NEEDS you around 💕🌻🌱✨☀️♥️ I LOVE YOU!” she wrote once.

2. She Says We Should Celebrate Ourselves

Sailor-Brinkley-Cook-1Sailor Brinkley Cook/Instagram

Sailor appeared on Good Morning America in a segment that focused on an eating disorder. “I’m a little upset about the GMA piece that aired this morning,” she wrote in an Instagram Story in responce. “I have nothing but respect for GMA and Deborah [Roberts], and have nothing negative to say about either one.” However: “I understand that ‘comparisons to model mom’ and ‘eating disorder struggles’ are great taglines for click bait on news outlets. But when I agreed to do this interview I was under the impression that it would be in a positive light and would be inspirational,” she wrote. “I ONLY agreed to do it during this awful time in America because I thought it would be a small beacon of positivity for people who have dealt with the same things as me.” She added: “I did NOT want to throw a pity party for myself. I did NOT want the interview to be highlighting the dark times. 95% of what I said during the interview got cut. Including thank you to health care workers & essential workers, as well as acknowledging how awful and heartbreaking this time is for so many.” She concluded: “We have to collectively learn to praise and CELEBRATE ourselves more often, because life passes by so quickly and it’s a shame to spend so much of it worrying that you aren’t good enough,” she wrote. “Because as long as you’re here on Earth and you have a body to love and voice to be heard YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH and you deserve happiness.”

3. She Says You are an Important Part of the Universe

“This is me, feeling down. But the sun shone right into my window and some birds flew right next to my car, at the same moment. They were my reminders today that it’s all alright. And to anyone who’s going through it right now. Heres your reminder. You are an important part of this universe and i love you,” she captioned the post.

4. She Says This About Body Image

Celebrities Visit Hallmark Channel's "Home & Family"Paul Archuleta/Getty Images

“I've had issues with my body image since before I can even remember. I grew up not loving how I looked and felt held back because of it. I don't know why I always felt that way, sure I had baby fat and definitely went through a plethora of awkward phases, but I had a family that loved me i had friends who made me laugh etc. But for some reason I still looked in the mirror and always somehow found something to pick on. I went from being ‘too fat’ to ‘too thin’ to ‘too muscular’ and I never felt satisfied. My body and I have been through it all. But recently I have been liberated. I am healthy, i treat myself well, and for that i'm happy. I've looked in the mirror and been able to LOVE the things about my body that beauty norms deem 'undesirable'. I now have grown to know that my body is worthy of so many great things. I don't need to be a size 0 to believe in myself. My body carries me each and every day, it loves the people i love, it holds what makes me healthy and strong, it bends it shakes it runs and it CHANGES. That is okay and that is beautiful,” she once wrote.

5. She Has This Message for Her 15-Year-Old Self

"Dancing With The Stars" Season 28 - October 7, 2019 - ArrivalsAllen Berezovsky/Getty Images

“I am so proud of you. I am so proud of you for that day you finally stopped counting the calories in your meals. And for eating that first bowl of your fear food. I am so proud of you for throwing away that measuring tape. I am so proud of you for being brave enough to go out to eat with your friends that one night in 11th grade. And for ordering something off your meal plan. Your bravery that night changed everything. I am so proud of you for starting to go to the gym to feel good, and not to set a calorie burn goal. I am so proud of you for deciding you’ll never take a body checking video again. And for sticking to that. I am so proud of you for looking in the mirror and relearning how you deserve to feel about your self. I am so proud of you for pushing yourself through the thoughts in your mind every single day and for choosing to be free. I am so proud of you. Because even in the harder moments. Even when your mind tricked you back into it, you kept pushing on in the fight. You were consistent and it wasn’t easy. You had everything going against you but you did it. And I have your bravery to thank for the absolute joy my life has been filled with since. For anyone fighting an eating disorder or for anyone who’s put their life on pause because you don’t think you deserve happiness because of the way you look. You can do it. I know you can do it because I did it. You deserve the life you dream about. And you deserve it today,” she once wrote.

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

Sophie Piper is embracing island life – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

Fitness,,Sport,,Training,,Gym,And,Lifestyle,Concept,-,Group,OfShutterstock

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”
