Rodríguez decided to take a break from her career to focus on other things. She explained why in an interview. "I think that after 17 years of non-stop, it was time to take a break to spend more time with my family, take those trips that I had been waiting for so long…We have to follow our intuition, enjoy each day and each stage of our life." Rodríguez also says that she is also using this time to work on projects.
