Danica Taylor in Bathing Suit Says "Turn That Frown" Upside Down

She works hard to stay fit.

Danica Taylor is enjoying the gorgeous beaches and blue skies of Mauritius, taking full advantage of the winter sunshine. The Love Island star posted a series of pictures on Instagram where she's posing in a white bikini against a stunning backdrop. "Turn that frown upside sis🍒🥥🍈🥝," she captioned the post.  How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Taylor stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1

Stretching Exercises

Taylor never skips the stretching exercises in her workout routine. "It's not quite the same as stretching in a bikini but I guess this will do for now! This year we are going to keep our bodies moving and grooving😋," she captioned a video. "The growing popularity of dynamic stretching sets it in contrast to static stretching. While dynamic stretching is based on movement, static stretching involves moving a joint as far as it can go and holding it for a length of time, typically 30 to 90 seconds.," says the Cleveland Clinic.

2

She Runs

Taylor enjoys running outside in the fresh air as part of her workout routine. "Exercise has a dramatic antidepressive effect," says David Linden, PhD, professor of neuroscience at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. "It blunts the brain's response to physical and emotional stress. Voluntary exercise is the single best thing one can do to slow the cognitive decline that accompanies normal aging."

3

She Lifts Weights

Taylor lifts weights at the gym, which she calls her "happy place". "You don't need to spend hours a day lifting weights to benefit from strength training," says the Mayo Clinic. "You can see significant improvement in your strength with just two or three 20- or 30-minute strength training sessions a week."

4

She's a Dancer

Taylor loves to dance, which can be a great way of getting cardio in. "Workouts may seem scary for beginners – getting into a gym where muscular people are pumping weights may feel quite intimidating," says fitness expert Xavana Dias. "Dance for weight loss is a perfect workout for people who want their fitness journey to feel like a party. Yup! That's precisely what dance workout is all about."

5

Waiting For Mr. Right

Taylor says she refuses to obsess about finding love, instead focusing on loving herself. "[It's been] non-existent," she says. "Look I'm not going to lie, you get one opportunity when you get off a show like Love Island so I've just been taking it all in my stride and working on me. If a man's meant to be in my life, he will come in at the right time. I'm just not forcing anything and I think in this industry, everyone's just hustling and trying to work. And like I said if someone's meant for me, they'll fit right in. But it won't be forced."
