1. She Loves Salads

Armstrong revealed some of her favorite meals to Women Fitness. One of her favorite options is different types of salad. “I love to make a salad for lunch,” she says. “Lots of people think salads are boring for lunch, but that's because they’re not putting love into it. I’ll make chicken & avocado with lettuce cucumber and I’ll add pomegranate with and like to experiment with adding different seeds making my own healthy salad dressing. I also have tuna and mixed seafood salads.”

2. She Takes Care Of Her Skin

Armstrong also talked about her favorite skincare tips and products to Women Fitness. “​​My daily skin care regime is to cleanse, tone and moisturize every morning and night,” she says. “I use Herbalife Skin Care Range. It's paraben and sulphate free. I also love to use bio oil every night before I go to sleep, which I’m sure people will think is a little odd to put on your face, but I honestly love the glow it gives me the next morning. Plus, it’s known to help with scars and stretch marks, so surely it will help reduce lines on your face, ha!”

3. She’s Real On Social Media

Armstrong has a large following on social media, and she wants to set a good example. She tells Women Fitness that she tries to be authentic on her platforms for this reason. “In today’s society social media is HUGE and puts a lot of pressure on women. Everyone has experienced feeling low & down after comparing themselves to someone on Instagram. So with me, I just like to keep it real. I simply just share what I do by posting my workouts and stress. I only work out twice a week and show my daily routine of making my Herbalife Nutrition shakes every day and making healthy options for lunch and dinner. I will always show when I’m out with friends socializing and having a glass of wine at the weekend as this is what I believe my followers like to see as it’s real life, my motto is everything in moderation is good for the soul.”

4. She Loves Smoothies

Armstrong loves smoothies, especially in the morning. “Since September 2016, I have started my morning with a Herbalife nutrition breakfast smoothie,” she says to Women Fitness. “It's been an absolute revelation for me in more ways than one! So I became a product user after my boyfriend Daniel introduced me to the breakfast plan. Over a period of time consistently using the shakes for a healthy breakfast alongside the tea and aloe which I started to see and feel almost an immediate difference. The science and philosophy behind the products are amazing, I can get great balanced macro nutrition, tons of vitamins and minerals and lots of phytonutrients too!”

5. She Loves Oats

Armstrong shares a lot of her favorite meals and recipes on Instagram. In this video, she shared this recipe for overnight oats. According to Harvard Health, “Oats contain several components that have been proposed to exert health benefits. The primary type of soluble fiber in oats is beta-glucan, which has been researched to help slow digestion, increase satiety, and suppress appetite. Beta-glucan can bind with cholesterol-rich bile acids in the intestine and transport them through the digestive tract and eventually out of the body.
