She Runs

Danni is a big runner. "I've been running since I was eight, when I would run endlessly up a hill behind school. I was 15 when I started entering my local Highland Games in Perthshire, Scotland. The prize was £20, which was enough motivation for me at the time," she told Runner's World UK. "Running is an escape from London life. I live in Fulham and run 10km in a loop from Putney to Hammersmith along the Thames. I usually run two to three times a week but if I'm busy with work I'll do that route once a week and then 5-8km on the other days."

Her Diet Is Healthy

Danni maintains a healthy diet, Monday through Friday. "Before every run I have green juice and a coffee, and then an omelette with avocado when I get back," she told Runner's World. "On the weekends, she cheats! "I'm a health freak Monday to Friday but I love a Domino's Pizza on a Sunday."

She Uses Fitness Apps

Danni is a big fan of fitness apps. "I use Nike Running Club's running app. If I see that friends I follow have gone out and ran 7km, I'll go and do 9km. It's a great motivator and I like the training programmes you can get on them," she told Runner's World.

She Also Does Pilates and Boxes

"I do reformer pilates, I run and I do boxing," she told Daily Star UK. "I'm a bit of a fitness freak from Monday to Friday and then I party at the weekend."I'm good at keeping on it Monday to Friday. I'm pretty health conscious."

She Is a Yogi

"I try to do a lot of Yoga as well. I find it helps space doing exercise," Danni added to Daily Star UK. "It makes you feel good as well as put your head in the right place too." "Studies using MRI scans and other brain imaging technology have shown that people who regularly did yoga had a thicker cerebral cortex (the area of the brain responsible for information processing) and hippocampus (the area of the brain involved in learning and memory) compared with nonpractitioners. These areas of the brain typically shrink as you age, but the older yoga practitioners showed less shrinkage than those who did no yoga. This suggests that yoga may counteract age-related declines in memory and other cognitive skills," says Harvard Health.

She Does Strength Training

Danni wants to be strong, not skinny, so she does a lot of weight lifting. "Train like an athlete to look like an athlete 👊🏼 🔥@danni.menzies isn't just fit, she's strong! People chat about not being able to be a lean, mean, fighting machine and then only spend 30mins on the treadmill. Don't be that person. Squat, hinge, swing, carry, push, pull – be more like Danni," she captioned this Instagram post of herself executing a hardcore workout.
