The actress and singer, who starred in Insatiable, flaunts her incredibly chiseled abs in a swimsuit while vacationing on the island in her latest Instagram post, making it clear she knows a thing or two about fitness. 1. She Has Embraced Her Body Dysmorphia
For Debby, accepting that she suffered from body dysmorphia was her first step to healing from it. “Dysmorphia has been a dark passenger of mine for years. I first noticed it at 13, when I was told to draw an image of my body, and the silhouette and shape of what I saw apparently did not line up at all with what everyone else saw,” she told The Sydney Morning Herald. “I don’t know to this day if I’ve ever looked in the mirror and seen what other people see when they look at me. And I have never had a day, not one day, where I looked in the mirror and thought, ‘Cool.’ It used to be all I wanted but I’ve accomplished a lot in 12 years, so maybe I don’t need that to feel fulfilled any more.”
2. She Used to Emotionally Eat

Debby also revealed that emotional eating contributed to the issue. “I’d gone through heartbreak and my close friend was going through cancer and I emotionally ate and was dealing with a full-blown eating disorder,” she told The Sydney Morning Herald. “I put on 12 pounds, which isn’t much on the Hollywood scale, but everyone online was calling me fat and speculating that I was on drugs. It enraged me so much.”
3. She Boxes

Now, Debby deals with her stress via exercise. One of her favorite workouts? Boxing. She even has a workout buddy who she can put up a fight with: Her husband, Twenty One Pilots singer Josh Dun. “Is he grabbing my butt,” she captioned a few snaps from one of their workout sessions.
4. She Likes Action Sports
Debby loves to burn calories while getting a rush at the same time. She loves rock climbing and also snowboarding. “Nighttime is for carving slow and flirting on the slopes,” she captioned this snap.
5. She Is Active Outdoors
She also rollerblades, hikes, and goes for walks – all with the help of her beloved dog. Sometimes she even walks her dog while rollerblading, like in this adorable Instagram post. “He walked me for like a whole 5k,” she captioned the video.
