Deepika Padukone is teasing the song from her new movie – in her swimsuit. 1. Eat Healthy
Deepika maintains a healthy diet. For breakfast she has two eggs and low fat milk or South Indian food i.e. upma, idli, dosa. For a snack, she nibbles on fruit. Then, for lunch, 2 chapattis, fish, and fresh vegetables. Before dinner she snacks on nuts and filter coffee. And then she finishes off the day with Chapattis, veggies and fresh salad. “At night, I try to eat a light meal, but sometimes I don't succeed,” she said.

“I make sure that I drink two liters of water a day to flush out toxins. I also have coconut water daily,” Deepika said, according to Fabbon. Juices and smoothies are other drinks she likes. According to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine men should drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids.
3. Eat Every Two Hours

According to Fabbon, Deepika eats something every two hours. “My snacking is limited to health foods like walnuts, almonds and dry fruits,” she said.

Deepika allows herself to indulge. “I absolutely love desserts and, yes, I cheat very often. I think the key is not to be hard on yourself, but use moderation. One should eat everything in required quantity. You must know what suits your body the best,” she said, per Fabbon.
5. Mix Up Your Workouts
Deepika does a lot of different workouts but her favorite is pilates with Yoga for the mind-body experience. “I do a lot of freehand weights and four to five sets of stretching exercises with 10 to 20 reps in between Pilates or stretching routines,” she said, per Fabbon. “I don’t particularly like running, so I don’t do a lot of conventional gym exercises. I try and exercise as often as I can, but when I’m traveling or shooting, I tend to skip it for days on end.” She also takes 30 minute walks in the morning and evening.
